Murt's ride was sooo much fun! Whew, I'm exhausted and haven't left the couch!

It was FUN! I'm exhausted and didn't really do a thing!!

I believe that the Grand Jury proceeding of last week was focused solely on Casey Anthony and ... the timeframe encompassing the afternoon of June 16th when Caylee was never seen again.

I also believe that there will be another Grand Jury proceeding that will focus on both Casey Anthony and Lee Anthony and ... the timeframe when Caylee's remains were disposed.

I contend the Lee Anthony's relunctance to submit to a DNA test and ... a lie detector test has everything to do with the fact that he assisted his sister in the coverup ... the coverup meant to shield her from the legal consequences of her actions.

In some ways I have compassion for Lee Anthony but ... I do not condone.  I believe that Lee's youth and misguided loyalty to his sister were behind an action was not thought out ... an action that could not be taken back after the fact.

When you consider the example set by Cindy and George following the July 16TH 911 calls ... it is obvious Lee and Casey were taught well that personal responsibility did not apply to them ... "the fruit does not fall far from the tree."

George Anthony Set To Testify Against Casey In Front Of Grand Jury
POSTED: 6:11 am EDT October 10, 2008
UPDATED: 1:58 pm EDT October 13, 2008

Sources told Eyewitness News the Orange County grand jury will hear about high levels of chloroform in the trunk of Casey Anthony's car. The panel will hear how lab tests on the hair and the stain in the trunk will show that Caylee's body was in that trunk and that investigators also believe the little girl's body was at some point in the Anthony's backyard near her playhouse.

The focus on when Caylee was murdered is on the afternoon of June 16, sometime between mid-day, when Caylee's grandfather last saw her alive with Casey, and the evening, when Casey went to her boyfriend's apartment without Caylee

Casey Anthony's Father To Testify Against Her In Front Of Grand Jury
POSTED: 5:56 pm EDT October 9, 2008
UPDATED: 6:29 pm EDT October 9, 2008

George and Cindy Anthony voluntarily gave up DNA samples this week so investigators could scientifically exclude either of them as the source of the hair and stain in Casey's trunk, but investigators had to get a search warrant to get Casey's brother Lee to submit to a DNA test. He also has refused to take a lie detector test for the FBI.

LEONARD PADILLA, BOUNTY HUNTER: ... And one day, when the FBI and some local officials came over to ask the Anthony family to take a lie detector test, Lee became agitated. We were sitting out in the RV. And at first, they agreed to, and then he came back out and said, No, we`re not going take lie detector tests at all.

I'm watching an old NG from earlier this week. The guy said 12 out of 19 jurors indicted KC, which means 7 people actually believed her??? Or does this mean that they thought the charges should be lower?

I was so focused on this pick up truck that I didn't really look at Lee's house.  All I could think about was the BB interview.  I'm going to have to read it again.  IIRC there was someone with her on that day?

Did they actually say how many indicted her? I wasn't aware they released that info. I do know they said at least 12 had to agree to it out of the 19.   How the heck could 7 people actually think Caylee is still alive and has been kidnapped?

I am throwing this out there even though my mind is  as heck about this case. But my mother and I were discussing this case today and she can not see how they can hand down charges of both Murder 1 and manslaughter , being that manslaughter is usually given when there was some type of accident
(example~ someone goes out to a bar/party is drunk and hit and kills someone on the way home etc.)
While we all know murder 1 is typically given with premeditated murder.

OK so my mom's thoughts

maybe Casey did have a job at a escort service or some type of secret night life job and she was leaving Caylee with someone and when she went back to get her, she found out something  happened to Caylee at the hands of the person she left her with and Casey lost it and killed the person, and while realizing what she did (now with a murder on her hands) she and an accomplice (which she thinks is LEE) put the bodies in the trunk and placed the two bodies in different places but caylee being the later person. (would explain why 2 different people thinks they seen her at different times being dressed differently) Her reasoning for not telling anyone about Caylee is because she would have to tell about the sitter. The reason Lee will not give DNA or Polygraph, because he helped and his DNA would be found. Now I am not so sure my mother has it right but it would be a story to tell by defense if they say in the end we will all sit back and say  AHHH, no I understand what happened.....

I know now that I look back at it after it being typed, it sounds so far fetched but remember anything is possible with this family.

OK so before I posted this I went to the OCSO missing persons and there is a young women who went missing around June 21 who could be Puerto Rican?
I do not want to post the link to her face for everyone just because of the above theory. but if you go to the site you will see her .

–in the State of Florida in cases involving capital murder the presiding judge hearing the case has an option of appointing at the State’s expense a more experienced attorney to help as co-counsel-advisor to the defense attorney.

I just read this somewhere else.  Is this true?  If it is, Baez could be second chair to a free defense attorney.  Not the rumor of Casey defending herself. Anyone?

Yes, that is true. On NG she has been trying to find out exactly what courtroom experience Baez has, and it is minimal- when she mentioned this fact to one of her panel of lawyers, one said "Don't worry, when the Judge finds out that he will 'second chair' him. You need about 5 yrs of solid litigation before a death penalty case can be taken as lead counsel.

JB has said that SOMEONE in his firm qualifies to try capital crimes, but was not going to name him.  Cindyism????

K, MODS.  GOT TWO MORE RECRUITS.  A CASSIE AND A SAND, WHO IS IN AUSTRALIA.  BE LOOKING FOR THEM!

Thanks Dihannah - I just approved them.

FYI - only me, Red and Dugga can approve new members.  Usually I'm the one who takes care of it.  So if I'm not around it's not going to happen, LOL

Thanks Klaas for quick response!   Murt is showing the videos from today of the search right now.

Would this attorney be court appointed or what?  I am just wondering if the state has to pay some "high powered" lawyer.
I don't know about a "high powered" lawyer, but the state does pay a public defender if the accused is indigent.  I expect this will happen.

Oh NO, they do get high priced taxpayer funded attorney's, im Massachusetts iirc it is a "discounted rate of $350.00" imagine, yeah cuz the rich criminals they charge $600.00.  Massachusetts had to pay for the entire trial, both sides of that double murderer Neil entwistle, he shot his wife & 18 month old daughter dead in the bed in the master bedroom, for those not familiar.  Oh, yeah & cuz the double murderer got life sentence with no parole there is automatic appeal process, compliments of the taxpayer's.  Oh yeah, there was an opening statement, a closing statement & no defense put on whatsoever due to the defense feeling the Prosecution had not proved it's case.  Don't know what the bill was but I wouldn't be shocked if it hit at minimum a 1/2 a million bucks.

Even that double murderer s peterson got some of his costs paid for such as investigation & forensic testing, the dumb creepy parents paid the first million bucks of that crazy undefendable double murderer.

Forget being concerned about corporate litigation the taxpayer's are getting screwed daily by the inadequate criminal justice system, that's what needs serious overhaul.

IMHO, the seven do not matter.  The twelve spoke very well.
