I have often thought of what makes people do what they do like Scott Peterson and Casey.
With Peterson why not just divorce Lacey and with Casey why not just give Caylee to her parents.
What makes them step over that line and do the unthinkable

My response will most likley be unpopular but I don't care.  It's what I truly believe about human nature.  I think each of us has the potential to be evil and cruel.  Some of us find it easy to cross that line and some of us don't. I think it's an inherent characteristic in all of us that makes up our souls or spirits or what ever you wish to call it. Forever there has been good and evil in our world.  The bottom line is this...we all get the opportunity to choose good or evil...it's the choices we make when faced with unbearable or unbelievable circumstances and what we do with those opportunities that separates us from those that are in prison or jail or other places. We each have to choose what direction our life journey takes.

My best attempt at on topic - anyone notice how clean we have kept this cage?  Casey get arrested and we don't have mess at the end of our hundred!   

You are right.  Canadian guys are great catches.  My sons are spoken for but I have a few incredible nephews that are still available.

 

However ... America has blessed me with a DIL that most MILs would die for.  For almost 23 years this Dutch American beauty with a heart of gold was being raised as a special gift for our son ... our family ... just a 45 minute drive away ... just across the border and ... we we did not have a clue.

That is SO sweet, Janet.  My MIL is wonderful. I mean..  just really great. I love her.  (And I always hear the family loves me more than they love my husband.  )  Now I can tell you my husband does NOT feel the same way about my mom
