Anybody see the breaking news?
I don't have a link as I was on the phone with my mom.

Casey was looking up how to MAKE chloroform.

Hey now that's a new twist!!  Does this mean there's been an evidence dump for Baez ? (and consequently made public ?)

I am wondering did she KILL her with or or did she try to clean up with it?

http://www.wftv.com/news/17781526/detail.html

And it also says -
"Last week, the Orange County grand jury heard from the FBI and one of the sheriff's computer investigators and that information is going to be released to the public very soon."

We'll have us a field day.....

Was the car abandoned before or after Casey was calling her friends asking for gasolene? If after, and she was just hoping it would be taken, why the need? Were the keys left in the ignition? Was the car left in a seedy part of the city where auto theft is pretty much a guarantee? If she ran out of gas,did she plan on that too? These timelines make me crazy...

And More....
"CASEY'S ATTORNEY TO START QUESTIONING WITNESSES

Casey Anthony's defense attorney is going to start questioning his first prosecution witnesses in the case next Thursday. Among those taking the stand is an employee at the Amscot on Goldenrod and Highway 50 where Casey abandoned her car in late June, employees from Johnson's Wrecker Service, the company that towed the car from the Amscot, and Casey's ex-boyfriend Tony Lazzaro.

What do they all have in common? They all had access to Casey's car. "

I guess Hud was right, they're going to say that the wrecker man put a body in the car, then took it out

OVER $200 DEPOSITED INTO CASEY'S JAIL ACCOUNT

Now Casey Anthony has a little money to play with in jail. Wednesday morning, Nola Copeland deposited $50 and Joyce Story deposited $100. It's unclear who the two women are.

I hope Nola and Joyce aren't connected to KidFinders

Hi Pink Angel,

Rob Dick posted this at his and LP's board regarding Pennys.

Now to me, it sounds like it's something she already has at home that came from JCP.  That's where I'm stumped...What on Earth would warrant such a question?  A room monitor?  For some reason I'm thinking of a great big ear.  If only we had access to the JCP print out sheet for that time period.  Then it sounds like it may be completely understandable for any of us to have said item but for KC and what she is facing, it must be more circumstantial evidence.  I'm LOST!!!

PJ flower

for instance:

If she bought a piece of luggage with wheels after Caylee went missing, the DA could say she used it to haul around the body or that she was planning to flee.

That would be circumstantial evidence.

If she bought a new sandbox, as some think.

That would be circumstantial evidence.

If she bought a little green machine carpet cleaner.

That would be circumstantial evidence.

That's my understanding of what he is saying.

Texas EquuSearch seeking team leaders for new Caylee Anthony search
Amy L. Edwards | Sentinel Staff Writer
4:07 PM EDT, October 22, 2008

Texas EquuSearch, the volunteer group that organized a large ground search for Caylee Marie Anthony and is preparing for another, is looking for current or former members of the military, law enforcement officers or firefighters to serve as team leaders for the upcoming search.

EquuSearch is expecting up to 3,000 volunteers when they begin searching Nov. 8. Each team of volunteers is assigned a leader to help direct the search.

Organizers have not determined where the command center will be located, but will release those details when they do know.

EquuSearch left Central Florida last month because the high water levels caused by Tropical Storm Fay were preventing a thorough examination of the search areas -- many of which were areas of thick brush and woods in east Orange County near the Anthony family home.

When the group returns, they will also be searching for Jennifer Kesse. Kesse, 24, disappeared in January 2006 near her Orlando apartment.

Anyone interested in serving as a team leader is asked to call James A. Copenhaver at 407-897-1184.

I'm still thinking perhaps the call to JCP was in regards to a "return" as opposed to a purchase ... maybe to see if the credit had been posted to the account ... it may have been something that was ordered for Caylees birthday and she stopped the purchase to have it credited back ... knowing Caylee would not be needing it ... just my thoughts tho ...

Hiya hon! Smile

Hey there pink!  hhhuuummm <scratching head>  .... well ... what would she have to call to "activate" before using ...  a new credit card (which would require no purchase) so that's out ... a NEW cell phone???? .....

Hi Everyone...Welcome New Monkees...I think what Rob Dick is saying is Casey's call to JCP was to check to see if she could use the card before taking it from the residence.  In other words, making sure the account was open and available for use.  jmo

I would sure like to know the date of the internet search.

Howeer ... if the internet search after June 24th and prior to June 30th ... I believe the purpose was to make a cleaning solution to clean the trunk of Casey's vehicle.

Casey Anthony May Have Searched Online For Chloroform Recipes
POSTED: 4:42 pm EDT October 22, 2008
UPDATED: 5:23 pm EDT October 22, 2008

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Did Casey Anthony kill her own daughter with chloroform? Eyewitness News has learned someone was looking up the recipe to cook up the chemical on Casey's home computer around the same time Caylee disappeared.

There was evidence of high levels of chloroform in the trunk of Casey's car and sheriff's investigators found that someone on Casey Anthony's computer was researching not where to buy chloroform, but how to make it yourself, which can be done easily.

Eyewitness News legal analyst Bill Sheaffer says, if you were up to no good, there would be an advantage to making it as opposed to buying it.

When you Google "how do you make chloroform," more than a million websites are listed with instructions. On the first one, page one had an explicit warning about chloroform's dangers, calling the chemical extremely dangerous and unpredictable and warning never to allow children to come near chloroform.

FBI lab tests show high levels of chloroform in the trunk of Casey's car, where investigators say Caylee's body had been. And there was a mysterious stain in the trunk along with Caylee's hairs and dirt.

"Another piece of evidence in the circumstantial chain," Sheaffer said.

Sheaffer said it's significant because, if Casey made the chloroform as opposed to buying it, she could have been trying to cover her tracks. Buying it would have generated some sort of record.

"This way certainly, she could argue, 'Alright, I was interested in looking into how to make chloroform, but I never did.' Or, 'That's why you smelled chloroform in the trunk area, because I was experimenting in making it,'" Sheaffer said.

Record or not, the jury would be faced with a compromising question for Casey.

"Why would you need to make chloroform. For what purpose?" Sheaffer questioned.

Last week, the Orange County grand jury heard from the FBI and one of the sheriff's computer investigators and that information is going to be released to the public very soon.

Alright Monkeys, I know we have gone over this before, but seriously I thought myself to sleep with this last night...

What does JCP have that Target does not?

Reading back I see someone posted maybe an item to replace on from the home, which would be the reason for the call to find availability.

Sorry, I can not let this go as I think its so very crucial to the case.  My hubs thinks I am nuts as I requested to go to JCP this weekend, and he knows I despise malls and their stores.
JCP has a credit card that Cindy Anthony had that was in Casey's posession.  That is whay she was using JCP instead of Target for a or some purchases.  That is why she was checking the balance/available credit.

so...what ingredients would she have had to buy to make the chloroform?
Did anyone ever say for sure if you could use the JCP card at CVS pharmacies?

If so, it wouldn't be far fetched to think that she could have purchased certain medical type ingredients from CVS. ( I dont know what they would be...but you get the point)

Has it been said definitively that the reciepts are from JC Penney's and not CVS?

Why does Baez get to question / intimidate / and or bribe  witnesses ?
Next week ?
Isn't this all done in court whenever.
Oh yes, they all had dead bodies. It's a conspiracy against her I tell ya.

totally agree !  However, LE has already revealed that they found traces of chloroform in the backyard as well..... makes me think that the chloroform was with the body  (I know she could have tried to sanitize the yard as well.... I just don't think so..... )
we may find out soon, the article also said more evidence to be released to the public soon !

I did notice a bit more reluctance to scream out that Caylee was alive in the last interview they gave.  They have toned down their rhetoric a lot.  I just sensed that even Cindy was more mild in her assertions.  Maybe they are starting to realize that their strident denials of all the facts did not play well.  Nor did their attacks on the media, LE and the protesters do them any good.  Cindy went from calling the protesters "idiots" to saying they are "misguided."  I think the lawyer told them to be less combative.

In the stores, no.  I am not sure about online or catalogs.  In the JCP stores they only sell clothing, housewares (bedding, towels, shower curtains, window treatments, wall pictures, dishes, small appliances like blenders), limited seasonal items like christmas trees / decor, halloween costumes, deck chairs, shoes, under garmets.  Typically they do not even have toys in the store, except a couple of times at Christmas I have seen a very limited selection of "special edition" type toys.  I have never seen anything camping related or even outdoorsy in the store.

I'm watching the link http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/26184891/vp/27318499#27318499
and the first picture they show of Casey at a party is indeed the No Clothes Party in May... so it was before Caylee went missing. I'm NOT defending Cindy, but I'm sure it's frustrating to have a pic of Casey wrapped in a flag in May with a voice over saying how she partied it up after her child went missing. I think Cindy clings to little mistakes like that to justify in her own mind that the media is against them, etc. I can't believe she says Caylee will be back before they go to trial with a straight face!

I'm pretty sure she will be found in one of the three locales.
