Info from Orange County Jail

Inmate Money Accounts
How to place money in an inmate's account

All inmates have money accounts which can be used to purchase items from the inmate commissary or to pay for medical or dental services. Funds can be deposited by U.S. mail, in person at the Video Visitation Center (3000 39th Street) during the hours of 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven-days-a-week or by Western Union Cash Transfers.

Note: Deposit items may not be in excess of $500.00 without prior approval by the Orange County Corrections Inmate Fiscal Supervisor - (407) 254-8315.

Acceptable Depost Items

Money orders and certified/cashier's checks are accepted and must be made payable to the inmate and include the inmate's jail number.
Other types of checks (personal, payroll, etc.) or cash will not be accepted.
Sender's name and address must be included
If dropping off the payment, obtain an envelope at the drop box location and fill it out completely.
If sending the payment by U.S. Mail follow the instructions on the "sending mail to an inmate page."

anothermonkey -

you asked about female products in jail in the last thread - I don't think the inmate / prisoner has to buy those items. They are supplied by the county or state. When you are a ward of the state they are responsible for your health and welfare and all items and care needed to maintain that level of health and care.

Yes Rob - but just the basics.  Nasty soap used also for shampoo!  Real cheap stuff.  It is not like a hotel or hospital!     I hear it is gross stuff!!

I have a question..

So there have been two sightings that we know of- of Casey coming out of the woods on Boggy Rd.
These sightings were on two different days. When the woman spotted her in the jogging suit and bball
cap she wasn't carrying anything IIRC. The second sighting by that man had her in a straw hat and red glasses
carrying a shovel and a bag. So, if one were to speculate that she buried Caylee there when the first sighting
took place, and dug her up and she was in the bag that went into the trunk when the second sighting took
place, there would no longer be a body in those woods.
I know that Tim Miller's crew has almost everything under the sun from airboats and horses to helicopters and
ground penetrating sonar.. BUT, do they have cadaver dogs? If the body has been moved from there, they
wouldn't find anything in those woods without dogs.

From the TES website - yes they have access to cadaver dogs:

Our resources range from horse and rider teams to foot searchers, water (divers, boats) air (planes, helicopters), dog teams (air scent, cadaver and tracking) and 4x4's. We have also utilized infared cameras in some of our searches.

Luminol reacts with iron found in hemoglobin. The iron is what causes the chemical reaction that then shows as a glow when the lights are off. Some cleaning agents will also glow but it won't appear the same.

If I was in jail and had the glass where everyone could see, I would hold it all day and only pee at night when the lights went out...lol

DO the lights go out?

I think the bail bondsman is the latest victim of Casey's "Magic Vagina."     Rob Dick doesn't know how lucky he is that he didn't fall under her spell.

Geez, no wonder people get shanked!!! Either to steal the ciggies, or due to withdrawl.

That's because if IIRC all jails and prisons are now tobacco free. I believe that list that was posted earlier including the tobacco prices has not been updated recently.

I know in the North East they are all tobacco free (a friend of mine is a supervisor at a VT prison) and my ex husband lives in SC and has been in jail a few times for not paying me child support, yes, I'm a b*tch lol, and SC is all tobacco free as well.

I don't think you would last three minutes in there.

I would tell them, no breakfast lunch or dinner, just dessert. And it better be Tiramisu at least twice a day.
