Casey wouldnt even get a job to support her daughter so I really dont think she went to much trouble to get rid of Caylee.  She was way to lazy for that.  Its just horrible.  That why I am so hoping TES finds Caylee.

Rob Dick made a point to say that the item(s) purchased could be incriminating based on speculation...what does that mean?

Hello everyone.... I am new to discussing this case here... I usually visit the forum on Natalee....
This case has also grabbed my attention from the begining.  I was in the orlando area this summer the end of July... big news there and everywhere...
Just blows my mind... this whole thing...
So.. just letting you know I am dropping in... to see what I an contribute...

Hi lnichols, don't be shy

That I am not...LOL... I am so floored at this whole case.... although it doesn't suprise me.... has the LE looked in the airport area? The new witness was the last I heard about that area.

Hi Inichols!

I think they said on NG tonight there are 3 witnesses now that was someone resembling Casey and her car in that same area.

Wow.... more and more they are coming out.. why now?  you would think they would have come out sooner.... they are not in Aruba... I would think the US LE would listen....mmmmmm

Possible purchases other than those already mentioned.

A new pocketbook to replace the smelly one.
Jewelry to go to Fusions.
Condoms  (Cindy would be mortified by that)
Gloves (if they sell them in Florida)
Straw Hat
Perfume to cover the smell
Arm & Hammer (don't know if they sell that there) which was in the bag in the trunk
Jogging outfit that witness saw

I'm trying

How about a carpet shampoo'er w/ attachments and carpet shampoo to clean the car ? hence get rid of evidence and, the smell ?

That's a thought.

Maybe she got her glasses from there!!

Maybe something in camouflage, like a tarp or cover that would blend in with leaves, grass etc. in the woods.  Something to cover the body with.

Speculating she used the object to either kill her child or dispose of her child???

Rephrase...

"Yes there is an item that Casey bought at JC Penny that is incriminating circumstantially"

carpet cleaner is actually (to me) a pretty good guess - I mean after all, what are the odds that Casey EVER cleaned the carpet in her car, herself ?   That would seem a very suspicious item AND PROOF THAT SHE KNEW THE BODY WAS IN THE CAR!

Sounds like Rob Dick meant it is not incriminating in and of itself, but in conjunction with the fact that a dead body had been in her car, it is incriminating.  Part of the puzzle.

Of course, nothing sold in Penneys, I presume, is incriminating by itself.

Is it possible that perhaps it wasn't a "purchase" that Casey made to JCP but maybe a "cancellation" of a lay away that maybe she or Cindy had put on for something for Caylees upcoming birthday?  Maybe Casey knew that Cindy was upset about her abusing the charge card and without thinking she called to cancel the "lay away" knowing Caylee wouldn't be needing it and Cindy would be happy the money wasn't spent .... just a thought ...

Possible.  I am not familiar with JCP as I do not shop at malls.  What do they sell? I know luggage based on research, but in research I found that much of it stated "Only Available Online".

IMO I think she may have put Caylee in a trash bag for a time, and as others have supposed it leaked.
I think she probably took a suitcase from the house and then put Caylee in that and moved her.
A suitcase or duffel with wheels, because at that point it would have been difficult at best to move her.
Then she had to go to JC Penneys to replace the missing item from the house. Remember Cindy saying nothing was missing?

The first time someone posted the link to the leopard luggage from JC Penneys, I just had a really strange feeling about it. Not sure why, but when I read that it had a pink lining, it just made my stomach lurch. Not sure why whoever posted the luggage link chose that particular luggage so if any monkeys know why I would love to hear about it.

Good thoughts, maybe she called to see if it was still in stock so she could replace it?

It means to me something to help in disposal of a body or the coverup of the aftermath.

But she left the trash in the car and the car reeked when C and G got it.  I dont think if she had tried to clean it up it would of smelled so bad.

I'll have to admit I thought of a chain saw or even an ordinary saw.  Or something that would mask odor if she dug a shallow grave, like lime or whatever people use for that purpose.
Limerock is prevelant around Florida as its one of our natural resources...you have to dig pretty deep for it, but many dirt roads and road construction is covered with lime and piles of lime dirt.

Maybe she stuffed the body into a dead tree trunk?

I still say shower curtain as it is so from the big screen movie "Psycho" and CSI:Vegas..her fav show.  Not to mention if it was plastic it would not have fluids leak through the material.

JC Penneys doesn't have a "man" section like Sears does. They have women, men, kids, baby, jewelry, shoes, toys, holiday and home. Under the home section they show the following categories:

    * bedding
    * window treatments
    * furniture
    * home décor
    * housewares
    * bath
    * rugs
    * lighting
    * mattresses
    * luggage
    * electronics
    * home care + cleaning
    * health + fitness
    * holiday décor
    * linden street
