Good morning, Monkeys!  Sitting here thumbing through my JC Penney's catalog trying to think what Casey may have ordered.  So far I've got: lamp (blunt trauma); fireplace set-poker, shovel, etc (blunt trauma); new mattress (don't want to consider this); pots & pans (blunt trauma); knives; shower curtain; rug; bedspread; luggage; and carpet cleaner.  There were no weights of any kind and nothing camouflage in the catalog.  Don't know if this helps or not.

A new mattress?  HMMMMMMMMm
That would have been too large, don't you think?  She would need large vehicle plus someone to help load and unload.  Would have witnesses on this I'd think!

'Evening all.

I think maybe Casey called JC Penney's to inquire about the credit limit on the card. Like, was it still good to use, etc.

Maybe.

But I know, but Cindy sure did not want LE to see her JCP statement. Wish I knew what that was about. May not be linked at all to why Casey called JC Penney's.

Hope I am making sense, it's been a long day.

I suspect Casey was replacing something in the house, as JC Penney doesn't sell storage-type containers (as in for a body).  I also don't think it was a sandbox because I don't think it would have fit into her trunk (especially with a car seat still already in place).  I eyeballed my SUV and I don't think it would have fit in there.

The interview that I remember listening to between LE and Casey was when she'd taken them all out to Universal. I think another when Cindy called police to the home. Were there others?

Yes, she called to inquire about the availability of an item before she was going to go back to her parents' house and steal a like item.

What vehicle did she have at that time?

Mainly how Casey screwed up and said she was Tampa the whole week the gas cans were taken but then turned around and said she came home one day to get Zannys insurance card and went back to Tampa while she is supposedly supposed to be in Jacksonville.  Also LE says Casey was never out of the Orlando area from June 16th on so there goes the theory that maybe Casey dumped Caylee in Jax or some one else.

Remember, isn't this what Rob said... "Yes there is an item that Casey bought at JC Penny that is incriminating circumstantially"?  The word "circumstantially" is the clue.

Goodnight, Mytime!
katntx- what did you find in Cindy's interviews?  I only watched a little of the video-couldn't stand all the unfounded, rambling accusations.  I simply cannot watch Cindy.  I haven't had a lot of time to read every part of the family interviews.  I'm working on a major project and have spent way too many until-3:00/4:00-mornings trying to catch up here.  Trying to take better care of myself.  It's bad when your family knows this is one of the first things you do in the morning and one of the last at night.  LOL!

I never understood during Casey's interview with LE how she continued to go on and on about getting the cell phone from work when they'd just confronted her on not working for Universal.  Am I confused or was that just wierd?

It was very weird. And how she said, "uh huh" when they kept catching her in lies. Just nutz.

Go back and listen to them again..I know Cindy is irratating but just listening to her deny so many things the cops confronts her with is mind boggling.

O.k. trying to clarify here for myself...do we know that Casey actually bought something at JC Penney?  The one statement I saw on Janet's post quoted LE and Cindy discussing the JC Penney statement.  Cindy said "I gave you the receipts." and LE replying something about she didn't give them the statement and she couldn't withhold the receipts.  Do we know the transaction wasn't a return?

You know its wierd too that she hasn't any visitors. I wondered myself if this wasn't a ploy of the defense to say that she doesn't need them cause she's innocent and will be out soon.  They're trying to show that she's strong and sticks by her "lie".  I've said before that if I were Cindy and I knew she was innocent-I would be there to support her.  Nothing would be said that could be used against us in a conversation either.  What do you guys think?
