Regarding the cross -
ok I just watched NG and what LP said was something to the effect of "Cindy says that Casey bought a cross at jcp for Caylee".... and then something like "... after she had already been dead for 2 weeks"... (not an exact quote but close enough).... anyway I went away from that with the impression that he was pointing out yet another one of Cindy's lies, rather than stating that a cross was what was actually bought... jmo

That was the first time I heard that about the cross.  It just came out of the blue...so what is that all about??  Bought a cross for Caylee?  Huh?  What did CA do with it?  Take it to her grave site or is she wearing it or what?  There is so much more the police have in evidence that we haven't even touched on yet.  It's going to be very interesting when ALL the evidence comes out.

That might have been the rosary Casey was wearing around her neck.  I doubt Cindy knows the difference between a "cross" and a rosary.

LP reminds me of Jossy in Aruba. Always throwing stuff out there in the mix. Good intentions I'm thinking but it drives me nuts. Lol.

I mentioned that earlier.....I think that is what the 'cross' was.

I don't think so.  All evidence is not reproducible. That is nothing new.  Baez can complain all he wants but he still has to explain how there was HUMAN decomp in the trunk of a car he has said was in the control of Casey Anthony.  Trace evidence is nothing new.  It is up to the prosecution to PROVE their case.  The defense can only try to put doubt in the jury's mind.  Again...explain to the jury how HUMAN decomp got in the trunk other than it being Caylee.  Casey is not dead and the chances of it being anyone else is remote.  Common sense is all they need to use...science does not lie.  Only the defense gets that freedom.
Good!  So Baez can not use this to disprove the evidence?  Saying "Hey I did not get to have my people test it" will not have the evidence thrown out?  I was worried about that.  I understand having his own people on the stand to dispute the evidence, I knew that.  I just wanted to be sure that he can not cry "foul" when their is no evidence left for tests.

Baez is in between the proverbial rock and hard place. He gave too many soundbites to the media about his client's total innocence and implying she had a plausible story, yet to be heard.
He also perpetuated the myth that Caylee is alive. ................His inexperience showed big time in his dealings with the press.

A seasoned trial Lawyer presented with such damning circumstantial evidence would (IMO)know when to be quiet.

Despite his ludicrous claim that when she shows her cards, ''we'd all understand'', Casey wont be allowed to testify.......................she's a proven liar and her preposterous Zanny the Nanny story is a non starter.  If she insists on claiming the kidnapping story, then Baez is left with no other other strategy than to try and discredit the state's evidence.and hope he can get reasonable doubt.  That's him doing his job.

Of course if he really has his client's best interest at heart, I'd surmise he had already privately suggested she fess up and go for a plea.  Not his fault if she doesn't go for it.

Don't see an OJ result for this creature but Baez can write his book and do the talk show circuit.
so he'll be alright.

Interesting that Ma and Pa Anthony are so paranoid about potential taped interviews that they haven't visited their beloved daughter in jail, nor has she made one call out. Rolling Eyes

As for Lee..........I know there's forum specualtion about Caylee's father........I personally dont go for that.  Padilla makes some dangerous claims at times.  Imo he's keeping a low profile which suggests  he's not prepared to publicly endorse the Caylee is alive  rhetoric. He wont toe the Cindy Anthony Line.   She who must be obeyed................Unlike her apology of a husband.

It really is quite revealing, if you go back and listen to George's taped interview with the Police and the rubbish he is spouting today.................. No accident he was the star witness for the grand jury. To say he ran off at the mouth would be an understatement. What a peach for the State.

No usable finger prints were found on a shovel in the trunk.

There was a shovel in the trunk? I thought the shovel tested was the neighbors.

Ya know, I have not heard anyone say where Casey got the shovel that was in the trunk.  She returned the neighbor's shovel, so I don't think it's his.  Maybe she bought it?  Maybe it's one of the Anthony's.  If it had a wooden handle, they would not get any good prints off of it.  People using shovels often wear gloves, too, so that might be part of it.

Can't keep my eyes open, going to bed now.

Just a tiny step o/t, I went for a job interview yesterday that would be a dream job for me. I need something soon or will likely lose the house. If maybe some monkeys would say a quick prayer for me it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Saying prayers for u boo

I forgot to finish reading and now must quote twice.  You (BooMonkey) are and will remain in my Prayers until I hear that they have been answered.
