ok, im going to open a can or worms here and I may have to eat them later.......how did we get the impression that Casey was lazy.  She ran, danced, and when she tossed those groceries in the basket, she did it with ease...............................

I think she's lazy in the sense that she didn't want to work for what she got. She mooched and she stole and she lied.

I think she was more selfish than lazy!!

I have learned so much by being a Scared Monkey. Being here has changed my life, which reminds me.... Klaas, we haven't  had a prayer day for a long time.

Idea??? before the TES search date. I know the prayers would extend way pass that. I had never been part of prayer like that, until here. It really opened my eyes!

Great idea IBE!  We'll set up the prayer day to go from Nov 8-9!  Don't let me forget and we'll work on a schedule.

I'm sorry but I don't really know what a prayer day is.  Can you explain. 

We set up a schedule... monkeys sign up for different time slots and we keep a prayer chain going for 24 hrs... some monkeys will sign up for more than one time slot ...it is amazing to know that we are keeping it going for a cause..

Count me in ... if I can do more .... just let me know ...

Be back in a few... Keep up the good work and dedication. Off to study for my Ham Radio test. Since I am "older" my help is limited in an emergency (I think) so being a radio op would be nice. I wish to help the local emergency club and the Salvation national network.

Did you know the Salvation Army is very active in anti-human trafficking?

Study hard IBE...good luck with your test...I did not know that about the Salvation Army...but I did know that they cook some good food and distribute it during the hurricanes...

when I was in Indiana after my mom's death, a tornado came through. The SA let me (as an American Legion Auxiliary volunteer) volunteer with them. One of the ladies who came down with the food truck from Chicago gave me her 911 pin. I was deeply humbled and honored. They set up way before the Red Cross and seemed much more flexible.

PS.. an odd tornado... hit the homes, raised up over the churches, hit the homes raised up over the schools. Cut quite a path,, I think it was 9/22

Awesome people... they actually drove around in vehicles from house to house with hot meals...pulled into driveways, honked and asked if you would like a hot meal....good food too!
