Not to be pesky, but I think my question got lost a couple of pages back and I’m really curious.  What is the trial about on Nov. 17th, which the A’s were subpoenaed?  And, was it all four of them?

Maybe the subpoenas were related to the Grand Jury hearing.  In other words ... if the testimony of Cindy, George, Lee or the neighbour were required ...

As it turned out ... only George was required to testify before the Grand Jury.

Also on Friday, Casey Anthony's father, George Anthony, tossed two chairs and other items and threatened to call authorities after two men were sitting outside his home between the sidewalk and the street.

"Get off my property. This is my property and this is my property," said George Anthony while pointing to his yard and the grass between the sidewalk and street.

A neighbor intervened, holding George Anthony back from the two men, who said they were at the house to take pictures and try to see Casey Anthony.

"I don't care how big you are or how small you are," George Anthony said before placing his hand under the arm of one of the men and pushing him back. "Next time I see you or anyone else on my property, I will file charges."

"I think (Casey Anthony) needs to be re-arrested, and I hope that happens. I want to be here when that happens," the man who was pushed said.

"The person who was in the back of my daughter's car was not my granddaughter," George Anthony yelled.

Shortly after the incident, two Orange County sheriff's deputies arrived at the house to serve criminal witness subpoenas to George and Cindy Anthony and their son, Lee Anthony.

"It's the trial period that was set for the criminal case," a deputy said. "They're from Nov. 17 through Nov. 28. These came from the State Attorney's Office this morning. It's to put them on standby for the trial for a two-week period."

NANCY GRACE
Anthony Family Members Served With Subpoenas
Aired August 29, 2008 - 20:00:00   ET

VELEZ-MITCHELL: I`m Jane Velez-Mitchell, in for Nancy Grace. Remember, Nancy Grace back live on Monday, and she will have all the latest breaking developments in this case, which seems to be veering toward a climax.

Case in point, subpoenas were handed down today to Cindy Anthony, George Anthony, the grandparents of the missing child, and Lee Anthony, the uncle of the missing child, and also to a neighbor who lent Casey Anthony, the little girl`s mother, a shovel.

Let`s bring in the defense attorneys. What do you make of these subpoenas? Let`s start with Alan Ripka and then go to Eric Chase.

ALAN RIPKA, DEFENSE ATTORNEY: Well, I think the subpoenas are really important. Obviously, at this point, the district attorney and the police officers believe that they`re going to be able to gain some information from what they get from those subpoenas. So that`s a big step, at this point.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: And Eric?

ERIC CHASE, DEFENSE ATTORNEY: Well, the subpoenas are a preventive measure. You issue these subpoenas at the beginning of a case to make sure you`re going to have your witnesses available. That doesn`t mean you actually think they`re going to give you anything. You have them there just in case.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Well, I think it`s bigger than that because of the shovel. They don`t need a shovel for a child neglect case. But if they subpoena the neighbor who lent Casey the shovel, I think that says something more.

Final Test Of "Rotten Pizza Theory" Has No Decomposition Smell

POSTED: 6:13 pm EDT August 25, 2008
UPDATED: 6:25 pm EDT August 25, 2008

ORLANDO, Fla. -- One of the biggest controversies in the Casey Anthony case has been about some leftover pizza. The Anthony family claimed pizza left in a hot car caused the smell of decomposition.

Eyewitness News tested the theory, but didn't find anything. Later, the family said the pizza had been sitting longer and was in a bag with laundry detergent. So, Eyewitness News did another test.

When Eyewitness News first set out to test the pizza theory, it ended with rock hard slices that had no smell at all. But George Anthony said the experiment was done wrong, because it didn't include the laundry detergent. So it was repeated and left in the car closed in the hot sun.

The car was left for 20 days and it did smell like a musty old trunk, but not like decomposition. One by one the bags were opened that nearly three weeks earlier were filled with pizza combined with Arm and Hammer laundry detergent, both powered and liquid, in the container and out.

In the first bag, the pizza was a little more rotten than it was last time. Pizza bag two was moldy, but definitely did not smell like a dead body. Pizza bag three had hard pizza, a little moldy, but with little or no smell. Pizza bag four had no maggots and smelled mostly of detergent.

So, five pizzas later and it still doesn't smell like human decomposition and Monday a spokesperson for the Anthony family discounted the results, saying the Anthony's are awaiting evidence from forensic experts.

The Eyewitness News pizza experiments were not scientific. It was an attempt to lend credibility to a theory that was explained in detail by George Anthony.

Wonder why she had both powdered & liquid? Usually you use one or the other. She was trying to cover something up. Maybe she thought Arm & Hammer was the best for laundry & deodorizer?

Monken - that article is saying that's what the news station used, I don't know if that's what was actually in the trunk.  I seem to remember George mentioning Arm & Hammer but I could be wrong.  I

She may have cleaned something in the trunk.

I live in Florida and keep one of these in my car to bring cold/frozen food home from the store:

It is what I thought of when I heard "cold" bag.

Also, I thought I remember seeing Arm & Hammer detergent when Casey was going through the checkout at Target?  Could be wrong - I often am!

I haven't talked to MrsKubs for a day or so, so I can't give you an update on how many orders for cookbooks that we have, but wanted to remind you all that we currently have about 250 recipes for the book, so of course we are always looking for more.  Dig out your recipe box and start posting. You do have to register at TES, but it only takes a minute or so, and it is for a good cause.

I know some of you wanted to donate to TES and couldn't afford it, but this is something that you could do to help.

For those of you who want to buy cookbooks, here is Mrskubs post:
We're almost ready to go to print!

The TES cookbooks will only be available at search sites. They will be free to anyone who makes a donation of $20 or more.

As a thank you to all Scared Monkeys, TES has agreed to allow us a one time privilege to purchase these cookbooks via mail order. The cost to the Monkeys will be a $15 dollar donation and of course, S&H.

We will now start taking pre-orders for the books. Once we have 50 orders, we will submit to the publisher for printing.

This will be for a limited time only so get your orders in now and order as many as you will need. They will not be available via mail, after this one time order.

I will keep everyone updated as orders progress.

Thank you again to all Scared Monkeys for their submissions, effort and time in this most worthwhile cause!

I believe it was yesterday, that I read here about so many missing right there in the Orlando area.  With that being said, to bad the County/State doesn't apply for grants to help fund non for profit searches or even for equipment, etc.  The government has so many types of grants for things, there must be something like that out there that they could apply for.  Every little bit would help in these situations.  I would rather some of my tax dollars go for something like that, then KC's defense.

Thank you Tamikosmom

Why am I not surprised........Oh Cindy

I still feel that the Anthony's could be charged with perverting the course of justice.......something.

ACCESSORY AFTER THE FACT - Whoever, knowing that an offense has been committed, receives, relieves, comforts or assists the offender in order to hinder or prevent his apprehension, trial or punishment, is an accessory after the fact; one who knowing a felony to have been committed by another, receives, relieves, comforts, or assists the felon in order to hinder the felon's apprehension, trial, or punishment. U.S.C. 18
Wow, how weird. That is the same definition for a defense attorney!
How are they not arrested on this charge is beyond me.

The only "possible" thing I found was this:

Arm & Hammer

Possibly this:

Didn't they find Arm & Hammer in her trunk?  I think I remember seeing that somewhere.

I remember Arm & Hammer detergent being found in the car. Where the heck did I read that?!

Maybe Casey doing all this driving and frequenting of parks and wooded areas was her in the process of working in an escort service. Perhaps she conducted business in the woods?

Or a shed, near the Amscot centre ...............Are there any motels around Amscot.  Where was she on those long days when she pretended to be at work.......I'm sure she had to be  somewhere close to an internet connection.

I'll bet the Police know, via her laptop, just how she spent her days, and way before 16th June 08

Part of the prosecution case, will be to build up a profile of the double life she led.

The Big Brother state has arrived.  We see her on cctv cashing stolen cheques............Casey embraces modern technology and ironically it will end up crucifying her.

Just a thought....Did KC want Amy to go to Target with her on the 30th for a gas can - knowing that she would get ahold of Amy's checkbook later while she is in PR - Have Amy write a check to Target on that day - so there would be a check on file - so she wouldn't have to use ID?  Stores seem to make you show ID if it's been a while........

I wonder if Caylee drowned or was drowned in the pool and KC put her in the truck and Caylee started to decompose, if KC sprayed the dead body with perfume/deodorant if the alcohol in the perfume/deodorant would make chloroform?

2:46 p.m. Officials release tips

The State Attorney's Office released thousands of tips authorities have received in the search for Caylee Marie Anthony, the toddler who was reported missing on July 15. Her mother, Casey Anthony, 22, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of the girl. However, the body of Caylee - who would have turned 3 in August - has not been found. Casey Anthony told investigators that she left her child with a nanny in mid-June. When she returned later that day, Caylee and the nanny were gone. Anthony said that was the last time she saw Caylee. Anthony's parents, Cindy and George Anthony, believe Caylee is still alive and want investigators and volunteers to search for a live child. Orange Circuit Court Stan Strickland ordered the state to turn over the tips after Anthony's attorney Jose Baez made a request earlier this month. Check back for more details.
