Mytime-maybe you're right.  I'm wondering if she wa trying to psyche KC out and underestimated her. Wonder if her tacking on the "missing child/dead body smell" really was a slip-up because she freaked out a little then, realizing the full magnitude of the situation.

KCJackie- JMO but I think if Cindy had known how this would play out, she would have never called 911.

I don't think she would have either.  I know this has been discussed before - but just can't remember which thread, sorry.  If the smell in the garage was so bad that LA had to keep going inside from the garage - wouldn't LE smelled something in the house?  I have never smelled a dead body (thank God) but you would think it would be very easy for LE to detect a small hint of it.

I was wondering that to.  Maybe they need a search warrant?????

And I agree, I am sure CA regrets that phone call now.  Thank God she did though!!

You would think that they would have kept a closer eye on KC - instead of leaving her out in the garage talking to Lee.  It had to have been strong and Cindy just sent George to work?  Did her or KC do any of the cleaning?  Remember, she told GA - "I'll take care of it".

O/T Klaas..could you please help me post a picture of my cats in the 4 legged friends thread. I've gone to the 'additional options', and uploaded the photo I'd like to post. But when I preview only the caption I wrote is there. TIA

Sorry for the o/t but has anyone seen Carpe lately?  It's been a really long time since I've seen him and I'm concerned!

No, he hasn't posted.  I emailed him and he didn't return my email.  I don't know what's going on.  I don't think Rob has heard from him either.

I stand with the girl, Natalee Holloway.

"I can look back over the past 10 years and there were no steps wasted, and there are no regrets,'' she said. "I did all I knew to do and I think that gives me greater peace now." "I've lived every parent's worst nightmare and I'm the parent that nobody wants to be," she said.

Arrrrgggg!  This makes me so angry!  The cashiers at my Food Lion store know my child and ask where she is if I come alone (and we only go there 3-4 x a month). Even the Greeter at WalMart knows my child and I'm only there 2-3x a month.  Five of the Librarians know us by name.  Even one of the Stock ladies and one of the Cashiers at our other grocery store knows my child and makes a point to speak to her.   How can an adorable, sweet little girl like Caylee go so unknown, unseen, and unnoticed??????!!!!

Isn't it the slightest bit weird that apparently Caylee never played with any of the other neighborhood children and KC/Cindy never set up playdates with any of the moms (at least that we know of)?  We live in a subdivision and we see other children and their parents when we're out walking and we speak.  We notice the children riding their bikes and playing in their yards.  Sometimes, they come over and see our sunflowers (and we don't even know their names).  Does anyone find it strange the no one outside of the A-clan ever really saw or interacted with Caylee (except occasionally Amy or one of KC's boyfriends)?  Didn't anyone take Caylee to the local Library for story time or the local grocery store?  Shouldn't there be other parents who would have seen Caylee when they picked up their children from Zanny (thought I read here "Zanny" supposedly kept another little boy)?  Shouldn't there be another mom reporting a missing babysitter?

I'm sure they spent most of their time in the backyard (pool, playhouse, etc.)  I live in a 15 year old subdivision - the only time I see my neighbors within a block or so -are when they are out mowing.  Most of the kids are away at college or no longer at home.  When we have our grandson - we spend most of the time in the backyard.  I know the neighbors on each side see him - but no one else would be able to tell the media anything about us.  Which is really sad, but everyone's busy - it's not like it used to be.

KCJackie-I see what you mean.  I think I must just be nosy like my spouse says!     I guess maybe it depends on the subdivision-how many houses there are, how busy everyone is, how many dual income/single parent  households, and the family mix (retirees, young families, empty-nesters, etc.).  Maybe too, a lot of people these days feel they need to mind their own business?

I'm Back!!

Not for long and I'm just gonna sneak away when I go to sleep.  Anyway, just heard Padilla again and I'm thinking wouldn't Deodorant have been picked up in the forensic reports of the trunk?
