I can't help but wondering if some of what we are seeing is defense tactics.  Like the issues some are trying to raise with Tim Miller/TES and now this with Casey's attorney.  Muddying the waters.  What could cause enough problems to get a new trial?   The attempt to smear Tim Miller could be not only an attempt to keep TES off the search (it isn't in the Anthony's best interest to find Caylee's remains) and possibly if Tim & co. find remains, a way to discredit the evididence. 

Or is the deal with Casey and her attorney fun and games with the media?  These days, I wouldn't put anything past defense attorneys to help their clients.  I have no problem with someone being defended.  That is the way our laws work  But I would have a real problem with someone getting off the hook on a technicality or some slip up.  Or even worse, some devious plan by the defense.  The trial could get railroaded, and it seems to me the real questions of guilty or not guilty of the charges get strung out on lines of bs.  Does what I'm saying make sense? 

I  believe the public are so upset with the case of little Caylee and are angry with Casey.  I think there is enough evidence already, with more to come that will reflect very, very badly on Casey at trial.  That can't be changed.  So one tactic would be for the defense to start working on undermining the search and procedure, try to keep evidence out that they can, call to question Casey's defense etc...JMHO

Jose Baez Repeatedly Told To Stop Touching Casey During Jail Visits
Eyewitness News has discovered that on at least two occasions jail staff had to step in and Baez was warned repeatedly about hugging Casey during their visits.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- In the past two weeks Casey Anthony's attorney Jose Baez has visited her at the jail, seven out of 14 days.


Eyewitness News has discovered that on at least two occasions jail staff had to step in and Baez was warned repeatedly about hugging Casey during their visits.

A jail report states: "The inmate's attorney was observed hugging inmate and was advised that physical contact was prohibited."

Then a week later another report stated: "Baez again observed hugging his client."

The room Baez and Anthony meet in is very small and typically there is a desk and two chairs.

Sources told Eyewitness News that on one occasion, Anthony was sitting and Baez was very close to her face. A corrections officer had to go into the room to separate them.

Eyewitness News confronted Jose Baez about the situation.

"I have no comment," he said.

Eyewitness news' legal analyst Bill Schaeffer said it's unusual that an attorney would ever touch a client.

"The more experience you are in handling these type of clients or situation, the less likely you are to place yourself in a situation that could be regarded as a compromising situation," said Schaeffer.

When Casey was out on bond, there were several times that she would spend six hours a day at Baez's office including Saturdays. There's nothing criminal about having a relationship with a client, but Schaeffer said there are ethical issues.

"The appellate court could find that relationship overstepped the bounds of attorney client relationship and affected that performance and order a new trial," he said.

There was no evidence that Baez and Casey were actually having a relationship.

The reason touching isn't allowed at the jail is because contraband items could be passed. Baez told jail officials that he didn't know the rules, and wouldn't do it again.

   I agree Muffy..This information coming out about her and JB is not at all a good thing.The trial goes down,Casey is convicted and then all of a sudden JB is accused of things that will cause alot of trouble and possibly a mistrial happens.Casey could very well get out of all this just by *technicalities*..Movie made,books written,and she ends up a very wealthy woman.Maybe the most hated,but wealthy anyway...

I just went to Murt's site and watched the video..Seem's Casey and Tony's late night conversation on June 16th is rather strange.Neither one of them disclosed what they were talking about.I find this very disturbing ,on Tony's part...They talk for 80 minutes in the wee hours of the morning.thenCasey text him 23 times,then another 14 minute call.Caylee disappears 10 hours later only to be never seen or heard from again.How weird is this?

It is stated that a relationship between attorney and client is NOT against the law, just frowned upon. Would JB risk his career over this? Maybe, if he thought he could get better money faster on book and movie deals. The only thing that could delay this trial is if she fired JB, which is her right, then they would have to start over again or give the new attorney time, but JB isn't lead on this is he? I thought they have a new lawyer that has tried murder one clients before. As for TES, how could that hurt the trial? An outside company searching for a baby girl has nothing to do with defending KC unless they find something. They can't dispute it's Caylee if DNA confirms it's her. They can still claim KC didn't do it. JMO
