G'Evening you all. (per Dana's interview with DH tonight)I am trying to envision Dave in the office, seeing a transcript of Jorans torn up and Dave being assured those boys had nothing to do with the the disappearance of Natalee. The torn document had to have not been hidden for Dave to know exactly what it was he saw torn up. If it was something that was not to be seen, why leave it there on the desk?

Well, next time if it program is about Natalee or some other subject with which you are familiar I want Carnut, Tyler, AZlady, Sunfreak and San to all promise me that you will call in.

We are not supposed to sound rehearsed nor professional.  I call when I can and this is the first time no one has said anything about my accent.  

Carnut, I would bet you have a very nice voice and I suspicion you are not all that shy from the dancing.  Will you call next time if you are able to listen in?  I know you can do it easily and would not be any biggie for you to do so.

Now callers only call in when they want to, i dont put pressure on them, my show is mainly guest driven but I do appreciate callers.
Thats why I brought back the toll free number. Not everyone can call in all the time.

I have felt these parents' noses have been rubbed in the fact that ALE was not going to help them nor do anything about whatever happened to Natalee from the very start.

That is what motivated me to stay with this for so long.  It was a hostile, deliberate thing done to them and I do not understand why at all.     But it has all been like that.  Not gonna help, not gonna prosecute, not gonna do anything and you can't make me kind of attitude.

I don't understand it at all.  Why did they do that to them?

Anna, it was a blatant signal, wasn't it? They never even acted like their was a remote possibility those 3 were involved. Oh, they gave us lip service, and said 48 hours and 2 weeks lots of times, but the fact is, from the beginning, they decided those 3 were not responsible. Had J done this alone, the 2K would have been pegged and sitting in prison as we speak. (I do not know where that thought came from, I am really steamed tonight over this case, after hearing Dave). I have nothing to base this on, just my opinion.

Sorry Folks ... The MSM has completely dropped the ball on this and they should be ashamed of themselves.

The media at this point owes it to Dave & Beth to get this information out without just taking it from the blogs without attribution.

I am not being critical. I can tell how emotianal you are on this. Me too. Most likely all of us. And you are 100 % right about MSM on this case of Natalle and many others.
I don't know why the statements have not been discussed either.

I am appauled and amazed at the MSM lack of attention. If they reported on this their ratings would be thru the roof. Why they dont is a crying shame. Instead they bring Beth & Dave on from time to time and talk about nothing.

But I know some of these monkeys are better equipped with very logical thinking and could do a better job than I do so I want them to at least give it a shot.  I'm a complete airhead sometimes and I would betcha there are several here who would do an outstanding job if only they would.  And if I didn't really think so I wouldn't say anything at all about it to them.

Great Klaas.  I am contacting the family to get a factual account of events and to make sure they want this posted.  I am just saddened about this childs death and want to help the family.  I will let you know when I start the new thread.  THANKS!!!!

Dutch law does not even require that they wait 48 hours in the case of evidence of foul play or if a person disappears without any means of transportation without taking any money, clothing, etc. it becomes an emergency just like in every other country and yet they did nothing knowing Natalee did not even speak the language.

And remember the awful things they said to the parents right off the bat?  I just have to wonder WHY they did that.  You may be right, Joran.  But I would just bet if that is the reason, they have come to regret it.

He's not worth it!  But I will never understand why they were so determined NOT to help in any way and not to solve this.  But they were for sure.  And I agree, if only the Kelpoes involved, it would have been over in days.

Someone posted just a bit about that movie.  We thought they should make a donation since the plot sounds too familiar.  Yes, that would be just horrific but seems to be happening more and more.

Saw something on TV tonight about beating up bums and recording it.  I just don't get some of the things that happen these days.  This is not the world I want to live in.

I have always thought that, too, but you know what?  I am beginning to think they were just plain hostile and refusing to do anything just because they could be that way.  Aruban vs Americans and we will show those Mericans we don't have to do anything if we don't wanna.  Besides we are already mad at the politicians and have been threatening a walk out.  Maybe we should have walked out.  But we don't have to jump for the Mighty Mericans so we will show them a thing or two not to mess with Aruba.

Something like hubris for their island.  Maybe even a bit of paranoia thinking the Americans were going to boss them around or just plain anti-Americanism.  Maybe even to impress their friend Chavez?  Or the mafia calling the shots and telling them not to prosecute as it would be bad for business.

The bill to make online gambling just about impossible passed I see.  They have to be totally steamed about that, the mob, for it was one huge money maker.  Was tacked on to something else, related to homeland security I think, and it has passed both the house and senate.  Now that will leave a mark!  No credit cards checks or anything that requires banking or wire transfers can be used for online gambling now.

Every thought under the sun has gone through my mind at some time or other on this I think.  Could be why I can't say anything with certainty any more.  It's just all a sad blur at times.

You can do just as Dave said and put Aruba and mafia in a google search and it lights up like a Christmas tree.  Michael Posner, owner of the Excelsior Casino has served time in prison in the US for racketeering I believe and he is older, regular mafia connected.

So they have all the money and I am not sure who or what they control but appears their presence is tremendous and so they would have an impact with that kind of money on such a small island.  I would guess they could control just about anything for we are talking major money here.  And as we saw with Dennis Jacobs, bribery is a way of life.
