Before going to the bunkey for the night, just wanted to add my reply about the hat in court.  Yeppers, I do agree that hats ought to be off in the courtroom in the presence of the judge, shows respect and all.  In some courts, (maybe in most or all), people who haven't removed their hats are asked to, before the judge enters the courtroom.

It was my impression that Tony wasn't inside the actual courtroom yet.  Having young adult sons, even if mine had worn theirs all the way inside, I'm thinking it would be more of a matter of them not thinking, rather than purposefully being rude or disrespectful.  I would likely take their hats off for them and smack them with it.  hehe.  A little 'mom' reminder to wise up dude, where are your manners?  kind of thing.  I guess I just don't see it as a bad thing on Tony if he forgot.

From the daily BS today:

Tony Padilla Talks To Krause: Concerns & Your Questions
Posted by Sean Krause on October 31st, 2008 2 Comments Printer-Friendly

Many of you know how hard that I’ve been covering the story. While I certainly don’t need approval, it does hurt a little bit when people give people a call, involved in this case, and feel as though I have a bias against Texas EquuSearch and that’s not true.

My anger is at SOS, not TES. I value and respect Tim Miller in coming back to Orlando, along with Leonard & Tony Padilla. I can’t how times we’ve put the donation link for people to donate, but please, I care passionately about finding Caylee and have never said anything bad about Miller. Please stop those horrific rumors, it bothers me.

I spoke briefly with Tony, who had some concerns that people are manifesting these problems by creating false rumors. I don’t get people, but that’s fine.

-

I did invite Tony Padilla on the show of what we do here, to answer your questions. Many of you have questions concerning the case, what really went on inside the Anthony home, and questions regarding the search. I respect Tony even more, he’s a good man, and I did have to apologize on my own vulgarity.

Take some time this weekend to think of good, solid questions and I’ll pass them onto Tony.

About a upcoming  TES search  for Clinton Nelson November 8th-9th His Mother Carolyn is a Monkey

For Clinton's story  you can read through his thread in OUR Missing Person Section  http://scaredmonkeys.net/index.php?topic=1318.0
At this time I'm not sure what may be needed besides spreading the word to that area someway. To me it is a way we can assist TES... and the mother/family of a missing person.

This may be the same time TES will be back Looking for Caylee so National Media for Clinton's search will not happen.   BUT  I do pray that TES could get enough support in both searches to find both Caylee and Clinton.

Tony's hat did not bother me, he's young and does not know better. What
bothers me is George and Cindy's gum chewing. George had gum in his mouth
when he was waiting to be called into the GJ room. His lawyer was with him, why
wouldn't he have told him.

Here is a snipped of the website http://www.helpfindcaylee.com/help

Support the search efforts by purchasing a
t-shirt or wristband:

Suggested contribution and supplies able to be mailed:

Wristband - $5

Shirt requests and/or contributions to the search efforts may be made out to Help Find Caylee Marie Anthony and all requests be mailed to the address below.  Please make sure to enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope, your name, size(s), phone number, and a check or money order.

Other Ways To Donate

If you or your organization are able to donate towards the efforts in the search for Caylee the family is in need of the following items please e-mail the Caylee Search Team cayleetrustfund@yahoo.com with your request.

    * Fliers
    * T-Shirts
    * HelpFindCaylee.com wristbands
    * Buttons
    * Sticky Posters
    * Bottled Water
    * Snack Foods

 If you go on the site, most of this font is real tiny except the stuff you can buy and it's price. I found it odd that the money goes to bottled water for volunteers.... What volunteers? What search have they organized? Did they "all" go out searching and we missed it? Water for volunteers implies searching in areas like TES is doing, not sitting on the couch giving interviews. Oh and they want money for snackies too! Can't have bottled water w/o those M&M trail mix bags, can we? They want money for all those items, but for what? No one is searching, not even them! The only one out there is TES and his fine group of people!!!

I'm trying to find some support "Caylee is alive" places on the internet that were not directly set up by the Anthonys, I haven't found any yet. Where are all these supporters? Or are they just nice people who are offering there best wishes for the family. That doesn't mean these people think Caylee is alive, they just feel sorry for the Anthonys.

Sad, just very sad. One poll at about.com says that 81% of the people who answered believe Caylee is dead.

And another thing!!!! That info was under the VOLUNTEER section and under the HELP section. See they are not asking you to go search anywhere, just send money, that will be just fine. They don't actually want people out there looking in the areas where she is supposedly, not willing to part with that "she is close" information. Just send money!!!! Man they piss me off!!!  BTW we need a pissed monkey icon.

As a general rule, the bailiff will advise anyone coming into court to remove any headwear (hats) before entering the courtroom. The younger generation sometines is not aware of the protocol when entering the courtroom. I would certainly hope that the younger witnesses would be aware that they may wind up on national television and dress accordingly.

The Anthony's are operating under the incorrect (as 81 % of those polled agree) assumption that Caylee is alive, it is logical that they would direct their efforts toward finding information about a LIVE Caylee as opposed to a dead one.

The problem lies with their approach. Making disparaging remarks about TES and Tim Miller is not a good way of trying to get the public to consider their viewpoint. I can fully understand their not willing to face the fact that Caylee is dead. No grandparent would want to believe that. It will take finding the body to bring closure to them.

Two things need to happin here until when and if Caylee is found, dead or alive.

The first is that the Anthony's need to reign in their criticism of TES and the other searchers who are trying to find Caylee (presumably dead).
The second is that we of the majority opinion that she is deceased have to understand, at least to some extent, how they must feel, knowing deep down at the bottom of their broken hearts that Caylee is gone and that their own daughter is responsable.

I personaly know the feeling of a parent that has outlived their child. It is a feeling that I do not wish on anyone.

This really annoys me that they expect people to send them money when they aren't searching anywhere or helping the real searchers like TES in any way.

Another thing that annoys me is their new foundation they are setting up as a charity doesn't even follow the IRS rules. Here is some info I found on the IRS site:
"Irrespective of size, a governing board should include independent members and
should not be dominated by employees or others who are not, by their very nature,
independent individuals because of family or business relationships.
The Internal
Revenue Service reviews the board composition of charities to determine whether the
board represents a broad public interest, and to identify the potential for insider
transactions that could result in misuse of charitable assets."
http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-tege/governance_practices.pdf

I certainly hope the IRS never approves this foundation!

Why are we doing this?  There is no better way to put it than in the words written below, from another grieving grandmother.

Sheryl Ann Sawyers is the grandmother of Riley Ann Sawyers (aka Baby Grace), who was murdered, allegedly by her own mother and her step-father, in Texas in July of 2007.  Sheryl has issued this plea asking people to join in the search for Caylee.  Sheryl has generously agreed to allow us to post this plea on this website.

This is why we are doing what we are doing.  It is for Caylee.

Let's light the way home for Caylee.

A letter from a grieving grandmother:

To the residents of Orlando and surrounding communities,

I know that your hearts are grieving and broken over the plight of Caylee Marie Anthony.  Our hearts join you in your sorrow.  We come to you today asking that you put aside any anger or bad feelings that you may have and instead, focus your energy in the search for Caylee.

My granddaughter, Riley Ann Sawyers, was taken from this world on July 24, 2007 by an act of violence that will forever haunt our lives.  Texas Equusearch played an instrumental role in identifying her and returning her to her family.  They continue to play a large role in supporting our family in our grieving and healing process, and helping us to bring awareness to the plight of missing and abused children.

We come to you today to ask that you join law enforcement and Texas Equusearch in their search for Caylee.  Searching for a missing child is a difficult and daunting task, both physically and emotionally.  Those that choose to volunteer their time and efforts to do so are truly angels that walk on earth.  Even if you cannot physically search for the child, there are many, many things that you can do.  There is a great need for food, water, supplies, monetary donations and other assistance.  Even making a small donation can make a big difference and I am asking you to please consider doing so.

One of our spokespersons talked to Tim today.  They will have spent a minimum of $25,000 on this search by tomorrow in gas, lodging, food, supplies, etc.  His words were "We are not going anywhere until this baby is brought home."

This is a time that we can all come together and do something positive for Caylee.  Our thoughts and our efforts should be on finding Caylee and bringing her home.  Texas Equusearch is there in a role to support Caylee, nothing more, nothing less.  Please think of Caylee as one of your own, and do all you can to help in bringing her home.  Focus your efforts in a positive way and with love for a little girl lost.  Please come together as a community for the love of a child that so desperately needs you now.  As a family who's child has been there, we know how great of an impact that you, one person, one voice, one loving heart, can make.

As Texas Equusearch says "Lost is not alone".  Please, do not let Caylee be alone.

With prayers for all of you,
Sheryl Ann Sawyers and Family, along with the "Circle of Friends"

I think what the IRS does is review the tax returns of the charity and does not "approve" it's creation. This is my own opinion since I have not done a lot of research on this subject. With all the questionable charitys out there, this seems to be the case. The Anthonys would be in for a real learning experience when they start filing tax returns and have to account for their expenses and revenue. If they start paying themselves salries, the IRS will take a real close look at them.

Wow, what a powerful message! Wonder what Cindy's reaction would be to this letter. If her heart was in the right place, she would be open to it. After all, it's all about CAYLEE not kc.

I agree Murt. There are plenty of people and monkeys that would gladly have compassion on the Grandparents if they would stop pushing away and undermining people that are trying to help. If they were actually going out and doing searches, I could understand the need for these donations, but they aren't. They have been evasive and nasty to anyone with an opposite opinion of theirs. We are basing our facts on science, on the obvious actions of KC and common sense. Cindy is fueling this war every time she opens her mouth and criticizes TES. What is so painfully obvious to the rest of the world, she is holding her ground, not with facts but with a temper tantrum. I suspect she has been this way for a very long time. If she says it enough and gets nasty about it, people will cave and give into her. You saw it in the interview with Yuri, she had to be calmed like a child. I can't imagine the pain and anguish of losing a child, but if I ever did, I would still hold out hope until proved otherwise and I would be out there every day, searching the areas she might be. I would also be so thankful for any help given to me. Dead or alive, I would want my baby home.

OK, I've had 3 cups of coffee and have been up since 6 am, so forgive me of the soapbox stand. BUT in regards to the Anthony's never haven gone out and actually searched, it angers me so much. Last winter (I live in Michigan) there was a news story about a kennel that had accidentally allowed a little Boston Terrier to escape into the woods. The kennel didn't notify the owners until they returned from their vacation 2 weeks later. When I found out about this (newspaper) I called the owners, met with them, handed out flyers and on every day off for a month I went out and searched the woods and back streets. Just thinking of this little dog shivering out in the cold drove me crazy. I had blankets and dog food in my car in case he was found, there were sightings by children and people came out by the car loads, looking for Bullet. More effort was put into finding this dog, whom none of us ever met before than the Anthony's have put into finding Caylee. I can't imagine even sitting down to eat a meal while she is out there alone!
