This is another site of CA.  I had it booked marked for awhile.  I just read on another site that one of her favorite movies she list is Catch/Release.  They said it was about a woman who has a little boy and the woman pretends the dad is dead until it's proven by dna that he's not.  Good grief....between this movie and the one she rented with TL about the body in the trunk..do you think she is living her life through movies or something?

Seriously.. I would LOVE to know if anybody in her life has ever come out and asked "WTF is wrong with you, girl?!!"

my bet would be NO....seems everyone around her have been enablers!!

This question is for Florida people:  what is the soil down there like?  I live in Maryland where it is mostly clay and very hard to dig.  You can break a shovel around here in the ground digging, especially if we haven't had any rain in a while.  Is Florida dirt sandy, very easy to dig in?  Because the when people say that CA buried CA in the backyard and she only borrowed the shovel for what about an hour or so, could she have really dug a hole that fast?  I can understand maybe she did if the ground was sandy..it would be easy, but I'm thinking if the ground is hard like around here no way she could.

I actually work for a well drilling company and have to file "completion" reports with our water management agency.  The drillers have to write in the report what they are drilling through, every 20 feet or so.  We have a lot of sand, sandy clay and limestone, with a lot of variations in color, density (medium or coarse).

When I first moved to FL, I was shocked the first time I planted something.  I was all "Hey, where's the dirt?"  I lived about 1 1/2 hours west of Orlando, towards the Gulf.

LOL....I was just trying to figure out if CA could dig a hole big enough for the baby to fit in in the backyard; if the soil is very sandy and easy to dig, it probably wouldn't take much effort and she could dig enough to place the child in and cover her up until she could decide what to do next with her. So that really could be a plausible possibility.

Hi Monkeys.

I have been getting some strange email from those I consider to be on the dark side (RU and that crowd).
Saying and sending me examples of how Murt (Im not sure who that is) could help me get guests for my show, that he or she has a in with the Anthony case etc etc.
Even one example was how I should team up with Murt or just let Murt take over the show.
Now Im sure if Red wasnt happy with the programming I provide he would tell me. Ive been doing the show since 1997 and Im quite sure my guests stack up just as well as any of the cable shows out there. Now if you dont want to listen that is your choice, but please remember the evil side is out there and they will take your words and spin them to try and ruin my credibility. Infact with one case even trying to discredit me with a guest of mine.

Now feel free to contact me anytime via private email if you have any questions.

Dana, as usual I am late getting caught up on the reading but I would like to address this post since I listen to you and go to Murt's site at times.  Each of you has your own distinct talents and quite frankly, it sounds to me like someone is trying to stir up strife for no reason whatsoever.

I absolutely love you show, your interviews, and your voice.  (In fact, given the opportunity, I think you should record audio books.  Your voice is so smooth and perfect for broadcasting.)  The only "complaint" (lol) I have ever had is that you cost me money!  You have such interesting guests and do such wonderful interviews that I end up buying the books they have talked about with you.  You're one of the very few audio broadcasts I could listen to over and over...you are really that good!

Murt has a live chat and does videos primarily so those of us who don't live in the area can see local broadcasts, etc.  He lost a 25-year-old son to juvenile diabetes and this past January, his wife.  His on-air chit chat is not pre-planned even to a consistent time spot.  I think the on-air chat is more or less a way to dispel loneliness plus he seems to genuinely care about finding Caylee.  He has gone on searches and when allowed, he videos places around Orlando to show those of us who live elsewhere the terrain, etd.

He has to bump off trolls who come to the site to stir up trouble.  In fact, I think there are a few he's dealt with before who try to undermine his credibility.  My guess some of those are the writers of the emails you are receiving.

Your program is well-planned, professional, and polished.  Murt's is more of a free-spirited chat room whose premise is based on the search for Caylee.  It is more of a stream of consciousness gab fest which can get silly at times but enjoyable for late night chats when the stress of the day needs lightening.  The chats are not planned nor professional but rather a mix of people shooting the breeze.  I have even heard him complain that he missed on of your broadcasts when someone mentioned your program.

People who envy others' success tend to try to start trouble with rumors of conflict.  I think your emailers are simply jealous people who are trying to stir something up.  Trust me, there is nothing to stir up here!  Neither you nor Murt in any way resemble the other except that you are both advocating for Caylee...you both have other professions yet give your time for others.

I admire you both and so do others.  Well, perhaps that is yet another thing you do share because I do not generally give my admiration lightly.

Thank You for the very kind words

Just Peeking in for a bit...

Just want to throw this out   about Tim Miller and TES  from what little I know.
JMO ... from being present at a couple of TES searches.

Tim / TES does Not care about who may have done something to someone.  Discussions of that nature during a search are frowned upon / not allowed.

Their goal is to locate a missing person PERIOD   and they want the vols to concentrate on that ... Nothing else

Tim is the driving force... but there are many dedicated TES folks too and just  people that show up for a search or do what they can in other ways.  It is like they heard this  video &  for  what ever reason something CLICKED in them  to get involved.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v6aqBvedQvE    If you click the more button the lyrics are available.

JMO  again but when TES is requested to conduct a search   ~~  this video is the norm for what the family is feeling / going through   ...  Which is NOT what the Anthony's have never projected !!

Again JMO

LOL sorry, the answer would be yes, easy to dig in!  I will qualify with I am not familiar with the soil in Orlando but I can't imagine it is that different.

http://www.examiner.com/x-1085-Orlando-Education-Examiner~y2008m11d1-Casey-Anthony-does-not-represent-Colonial-High-School

November 1, 5:27 PM
by Elizabeth Randall,

Casey Anthony, the young mother and suspected murderer of missing toddler, Caylee Anthony, went to Colonial High School in Orlando, leaving in 2004 one credit short of graduation. The Home of The Grenadiers on Oleander Drive recently celebrated their 50th anniversary, but not their notorious former student.

On a Topix blog, former classmate Rob Swiebel described Casey as “normal,”  “popular,” “fun loving,” and “very smart.” She belonged to a travel club and liked photography.

"Being brought up at Colonial High School, you know, like, not to trust authorities; I mean, that's just life at Colonial," Swiebel said. "You don't really learn a lot about books. You get street smart from that school; you're definitely street smart." Swiebel continued to describe how different high school life was at Colonial.

"I mean, you know how to talk to cops, you know how to do everything, that’s just the way of life there." Casey Anthony, 22, is in custody in Orange County facing charges of murder. She has been incarcerated off and on since July 15, the day Caylee was reported missing. She is still listed on Colonial High School’s reunion list at Reunion.com.

Colonial High School is getting a bum rap.

In 2005, Orlando Weekly ran a story featuring Colonial High School as a microcosm of diversity with an enrollment of 3,700 students, many of whom were products of "generational poverty," according to principal Dr. Paul V. Mitchell. The student enrollment was a mixture of one-third white, more than one-half Hispanic and a minority African-American population.

To fight failure, his school devised administrative calendars divided by subject matter. Each calendar states individual objectives of the Sunshine State Standard benchmarks, the number of days required to teach it, sources used to teach it and the assessment method used to measure it. In addition, each objective was integrated with subject matter.

"If a world history teacher is teaching 'main idea,' so is the English teacher," Mitchell said. "Even physical education teachers cover FCAT benchmarks." Teachers had magnetized benchmark banners which they posted on white boards to review skill mastery.

Mitchell also implemented a tracking system devised by a Colonial High resource specialist, through a networked database that enable tdeachers, guidance counselors, FCAT prep teachers, assistant principals and Mitchell to check each and every student grade, every single week. He also implemented after school and Saturday tutoring.

In spite of all this, Colonial High did not make "adequate yearly progress" as defined by No Child Left Behind. Mitchell was philosophical.

"A big inner-city school like ours; the president had some pretty good ideas. FCAT, well … it made me think of education differently. I saw the "A Nation at Risk" study come out. … We moved into whole language [a controversial educational theory] in the '80s. Now we're swinging back to basics. I've always been about kids and learning. I'm real proud of our kids and teachers. It's a good community, good kids. I tell them to roll up their sleeves, and let's show them. It's a challenge."

Does this sound like a school where authority cannot be trusted? Whatever Casey Anthony has done, the roots of her problems do not extend to Colonial High School.

It sure does...and it does look like sand, not the dirt/clay we have here.  Yeah, I'll be CA could have a dug a hole in the back yard very easily now.  And maybe the dogs hit in certain places in the back yard because after she touched CA, she went over to the shed or the play house to look for a burial spot or to get the shovel, but the shed was locked so went to the neighbor's house.  Hmmm...

I love that song.....thank you for posting that, oldfart. You are right. It's perfect.

Lyrics for you:

Lost in the darkness
Hoping for a sign
Instead there's only silence
Can't you hear my screams?

Never stop hoping
Need to know where you are
But one thing's for sure
You're always in my heart

[Chorus:]
I'll find you somewhere
I'll keep on trying
Until my dying day
I just need to know
Whatever has happened
The truth will free my soul

Lost in the darkness
Tried to find your way home
I want to embrace you
And never let you go

Almost hope you're in heaven
So no one can hurt your soul
Living in agony
Cause I just do not know
Where you are

Bev if I can get a heel stuck in the lawn very easily, slips right in, then I am going to go with that it would be an easy dig, even for Casey.  She might not break a sweat from the actual physical work, remember she used to go jogging, but the heat of that time of year would cause her to perspire for sure.  She was physically fit, dancing the night away too is great exercise.  If she was doing something that was a matter of "life or death" for her, she would find the means to get it done, IMO.
