Coming Sunday

Thousands of Allen County voters appear to be able to vote twice in this year’s landmark presidential race, once in Indiana and once in Florida.

The Journal Gazette compared county voter rolls with a list of more than 12 million registered voters in the Sunshine State, and found that more than 2,100 people appeared to be registered in both places.

It’s obviously illegal to cast more than one vote, and just because people theoretically can doesn’t mean they will. But as Sunday’s centerpiece story points out, the findings highlight a nationwide weakness in preventing voter fraud.
