Hiya Monkeys. IMO Charles Croes knows a whole lot more than he lets on. How did he know to go to a certain area to ask kids about the silver car? Maybe he just has a major problem with selective alzheimers.

The question I have is WHY the need to make Joran seem larger than life?  WHY the need to portray him as "off the scale intellegent", a great "sporter", with alot of girlfriends - who all supposedly gush over what a great guy - gentle, sweet guy he is, etc. etc.  

His actions and all indications point otherwise.  

Who do they think he is?  Superman?  Give me a break!

Just convinces me even more that Charles Croes is in the middle of this mess as well.  

Are they all psycho?

They are trying to portray Joran as smart as Natalee.  We all know she has a high IQ and the Sloots are saying so does their murderer rapist son that they raised.  There is no comparison.  On Natalee's worst day Joran couldn't keep up with her work ethic.  Joran is a lazy bastard who can't cut it.

Anna, I'd put my money on Freddy to blab his heart out, especially when he offered immunity and protection in Florida with his big bro.  Freddy will put that island behind him in a minute to share his brother's life in the US and the VDS crew are going down.

Don't know.  Freddy's tickle site came down pretty fast.  I believe he is the video magician with the brother porn link.  I believe the early rumors that Freddy was at Joran's that night.....maybe the Max Arends in Florida??

Buckeye, think about it.  The witness has to have been there to be a credible and valid witness.  I think Freddy was there, too.  But if he was behind the camera, then there is no evidence that Freddy actually raped or killed Natalee.  Thus, who better to make a deal with than someone who witnessed the attack but did not actually participate?  Freddy has money and family in the US.  If this comes down and all the suspects are rounded up, who is going to blab and cry and spill his guts to save himself?  The guy who saw the crime and has the resources to buy US lawyers to defend him.  The guy who was behind the camera.

Then...Paulus and the elders would have to have done the cleanup without Freddy around??  I just think Freddy participated...he's been on the previous trips...maybe someone held the camera when he took a turn.  He would be turning on himself...IMO

From what you all are saying, it sounds as if Freddy really is the key.  I didn't know anyone had confirmed that Freddy was at Joran's that night.   2K seem to think that Joran would be honest with Freddy, and as you mention, he has relatives in the US.  He can get away from the powers that be in Aruba.  Paulus getting him a lawyer means Paulus knew or believed Freddy was involved.  If he rolled over on J2K&P in the US, even if he incriminated himself, US authorities wouldn't be able to charge him, I don't think.  The crime took place in Aruba.  If he was subject to criminal prosecution here, he could ask for immunity with US authorities.  Whether Freddy put up a little porno movie on some website, not knowing at first that Natalee would disappear, or whether Freddy was Joran's ride after 2K bolted, perhaps helping Joran with the initial burial , or both, it sounds like he's the most likely person to know and be willing to reveal the truth.

Just wanted to say how much I enjoy your posts! I agree with all of you about Charles -what a POS.  I won't waste any time reading anything he has to say.

Can you imagine being in a panic with upset and worry, but managing to do all the right things to get information, then trusting these people in Aruba when they were actually trying to sabbotage all your efforts? What a nightmare.  God bless you Beth, Jug, Dave and Robin.  I just cringe at the thought of how this evil has been torturing you for over 16 months now.

 I am so glad all these smart, thoughtful and gracious monkeys are here helping in any way they can.  I personally appreciate how many of you quickly digest information and form posts that say what all the rest of us out here are thinking. Know that my prayers are with al of you and the family members of Natalee.  What a hell hole Aruba is.

I don't know...I'm not so sure about his involvement.  IMO, I wouldn't really look to deeply into him "knowing" about certain areas where kids hang out that night to try and locate Joran.  It's such a small island, it could just be an educated guess as to their knowledge of the subject (where to find him)...

I do believe he may have some involvement after the fact (in diluting cell records and such...thus hindering the investigation).  But direct involevement? Doesn't seem logical, IMHO of course...

If Americans are so awful, I guess Aruba is thrilled we are not coming there in the numbers we once did.  Must be a tremendous relief for them.

   Also wanted to be sure everybody read this.  Jug has the right to defend his family just like everybody else.  If Julia is charging like a rino toward Beth, I think he was justified in stopping her.  I don't believe for one minute he physically touched her unless you count her running into him since she is bigger than he is.  Must be terrifying to see something like that Julia charging toward a loved one.

If Americans stay away, with their high school boys stay home more, study more?  Will their young men work harder, drink less?  Will their HIV incidences decrease?  Will drug use decrease and the drug dealers go away?  Will corruption cease?  As I said earlier, I don't mind hearing criticisms of US - we do it all the time! - but Aruba truly seems to blame the US for this debacle, unable to see past what offends them to see what is true not only about the Sloots and Aruban legal authorities, but about them and their society.

I agree, Thirdstrike.  I don't know how much CCroes knows.  I think it's reasonable to think that a group of young people in a small country might know someone with a tricked-out car and CCroes got lucky.  I'm also fairly certain that these kids do NOT know Geoffrey van Cromvoirt.

Lots of murderers and criminal types had high IQs.  Remember the program from Dana regarding Steve Hodel's brilliant father.  Brilliant, but criminal.  Ted Bundy.  The list goes on.  Joran, no doubt, was bright enough to make a video,? participate in a video in which Natalee was apparently raped and maybe even murdered and then in concert with his mother and father and their influence on the criminal/law elements (which might be synonymous in Aruba), cover it up.
