Klaas, I've been searching high and low and cannot find PDF files except for the Dept. of Children's Welfare and Amy's transcript which at first glance looks like the one we already had.

I didn't know if it was proper to put the links for those but I found one on that bs site and the Amy transcript in a doc dump site.

Do you have any idea where they might be in PDF form?  I so want to read them but my eyes are really aching.

If George "felt" for 2 yrs that Casey wasn't working ... why not find out?  Why let her continue to live this lie for 2 yrs?

PJ, thank you for the response.  Who'd have "thunk" that post would strike such a chord?  Lately with my days and nights transposed, my posting is usually around 3-4 am when no one is around.  Generally I never even know if they've been read...lol

Garden Gnome, oh my goodness...I wish I was there to give you a big bear hug.  I am so sorry to hear of your daughter's death.  I hope you realize that you did all you could.  Love can't seem to conquer this disease even though we so want it to.  Hopefully, you can reach a peace (if you haven't already) that if the meds could not tame the beast, your daughter was in such pain and anguish.  I personally can't grasp a pain so fierce that love can't soothe it but I'm learning to accept that it is so for some people. I sort of classify this as one of those things we "see through a glass darkly."  Someday we will understand.  God bless.

 

Thank you, Dr.  Yes, I have reached some sort of peace with this.  I will never totally accept "T" being gone but I know I fought the best fight for her that I could.  I am sure you know how you have to be a strong advocate with the Mental Health system in this country.  We started our journey with the best insurance (her Dad is/was an airline pilot) and ended up with less than the best, way less.  I feel as though I fought for her to live for so long and my darling girl just wanted to leave.  Her death was ruled an "accidental overdose" but reading her journals, after, she had been planning it for five months. 

I know we will be reunited some day and I will know why this had to be our journey.

Regarding 7.16/08 interview with GA by YM & JA:

Found it interesting that GA had JA phone LA, rather than calling him himself asking him to come to the station to listen to the tape with him he instructs JA to lie to LA that GA had left the station & was on his way back to listen to something that OCSO thought they should listen to together prior to hearing it from a media source.  These people just lie to each other all the time.  It is the groups modus operandi, now to me that is a completely manipulative manner of relating all the way around.

I know that others find this interview to put GA into a sympathetic light but I must say it still remenices of quelling OCSO into believing that they have his full co-operation & they need to understand the difficult position that he is in.  Poor GA, please make allowances for me I am doing the best I can under the difficult circumstances that I am facing.  Also find myself knowing that when I have found myself speaking with so many ah's & um's my body language is compensating & there is indirect communication taking place, that imo is why in places the conversation is not flowing in a logical manner, they are understanding each other without actual conversation, probably using facial & hand gestures.  They ask him direct questions & yet he really doesn't answer them, he has certain areas that he is willing to address in a direct line & others that he seems to be ignoring or answering in a very round about manner speaking words that don't address the question.

I find it very odd.  As usual, jmho.

I wonder what we will be told if they find a  child's remains. I didn't think to post and tell the searchers that there is a difference between male and female pelvic regions so at least they would know the sex of any remains that were found. I have thought how wonderful it would feel to hear them say we think we've got her. I would cry till my eyes were swollen but that's ok. I'll be anxiously awaiting the news about the remains in Delt. I always wonder if it's one of "mine" NC CUE. That closure, although it is so hard , it is what we work for

Thanks to all for the warm welcome ! My hubby and I are very recent "empty nesters" and everything fell perfectly in place for us to make this trip to Orlando ! I, like many of you, have become drawn in by this case and this precious little girl and through this have come to respect the work of Tim Miller and TES. I have never done a search before, but my husband is retired Army and has lots of experience being out in the woods of Florida and other places. I feel very thankful that we have the opportunity to help with this search.
