Louise I am a registered Democrat but I don't vote the party I vote the person.  I have voted Democrat and I have voted Republican.  On this point I think Obama is the worst thing that could happened  to America!  He stands for things that I am appaled by and he is racist and his wife is worse racist than him. America will live to regret this!  What are you going to thnk when you are are paying higher taxes because teenage girls choose to have babies and YOU have to pay for them? What about your healthcare  being downgraded so you can pay healthcare for all those people who dont' work but you pay for them to have healthcare? Don't get uppity with me.  Before the 4 years are up you will see that is the worst thing that could have happened to America! We are in for a mess.  God help us!

America ( led by a now majority Democratic government---and let's not forget the good ole' ACLU) has become so "politically correct" that it is now "politically INCORRECT" to use any sort of Christian values to lead this country. As a whole, liberals are so afraid of offending Islamic/Muslim religions that they are now oppressing the Christian voice in our country. Wont it just be "History in the making!" and "Change!" watching our country's infrastructure crumble and become completely unstable like the regions in the middle east!?? It will be so interesting!! Change is sooo good, regardless of what that change actually infers. Never fret, liberals, all of this instability and division in our country can easily and conveniently be blamed on Bush!

I wasn't one of them, but I am a Republican.  I don't understand the Democrats cliaming that Republicans are so much nastier than them.  We have talks show hosts ridiculing Republicans on the MSM, tearing apart Sarah Palin in deliberate attempts to make her appear stupid and the absolute failure to do any real background investigation on him.  We have no monoply on nastiness as anyone who has ever watched Keith Olberman can attest.

I met one woman this week who was convinced that if she voted for McCain, she'd lose her disability check.

According to the IBD poll on election day, 74% of American Jews would vote for Obama, 19% for McCain. I don't understand  how it is that most of the opposition to Obama related to the Israel issue would come from the Christian community.

i am always somewhat suspicious of Evangelical Christians 'supporting' Israel so strongly.
they believe you have to accept Christ as the savior else you are doomed. so most Jews are doomed.
but the existence of Israel is needed for the apocalypse to occur - and then the big final war at Meggido / Armageddon.
why do they support Israel so strongly?
do they just need Israel for Jesus to come back and after that screw the Jews, 2nd holocaust - they all can go to hell?
of course not all have that agenda. but i am just wary of such end-time talk i hear sometimes.
combine that with that Iranian nut who also believes in some prophet who needs to come back and calls for the destruction of Israel...
to let religion influence political decisions especially on the geopolitical scale just makes me very uneasy.
with Bush and Ahmenijad you had two Presidents believing in end-times prophecies and hating eachother.
then it could becomes like a self-fullfilling prophecy and threatens the security of Israel.

      Europe was practically all Catholic until the Protestant Reformation....now most countries are predominantly athiistic.

       Look what happened in the Middle East......    the Arabs took over what was once Persia and divided it, forcing all to be Muslim...I know this for a fact because I have in-laws over in Iran.....they are Christian, refer to themselves as Persian, but must dress like Muslims (the women) when they leave their homes.   Most of their land has been taken from them!

     It is so naive to think that it can not happen here.   Look at this Election.   We know nothing about this man, except that his father is a Muslim, his name is Muslim, and the "Christian" church he attended has a pastor that HATES the United States of America!  Oh, and hates "Whitey" too!!!!   Look at all the fool Whites who voted for him...Yikes!!!!
