Congrats on Uncle Mike! I have followed your updates so I'm very happy for you -- but I must admit -- I don't have a clue what your talking about. Could you give us a very brief re-cap of the situation?    

Uncle Mike (not my uncle, but a good friend of my dads) was in Sierra Leone on missionary purposes.  He is a vietnam vet, and just came back from Iraq with the national guard.

He was taking tourist pic's while he was in Sierra leone and took some of a courthouse that was housing Charles Taylor at the time.

They arrested him and charged him with being a spy.

It's been 11 delayed hearings to get to the point we are at today.

Of course, first lie is a 20-hour search of their property.  It was more like a 2- to 3-hour search of the Sporter's apartment.  We all know, as momma Kalpoe admonished us, big people lie.  I bet Medley Relay is as big as Anita, the bigger the more lies than can manufacture.

I'm not sure how anybody would tear up that kind of a dirt yard and most especially why they would need to do so for searching.  They would need a tiller or something because that dirt looks hard as can be.  Must have been some kind of very primitive and untrained search party to do all that.     Most would use more reliable methods these days.  And I wonder just who did this search since the Chief of Police Gerald Dompig has not been informed about it until this day and is going around saying that a search of that property was still on their Wish List.  Perhaps the Sloots are the victims of some cruel hoax by some group pretending to be the ALE conducting a search.  

That is a very peculiar method of obtaining a search warrant, putting it on a Wish List.  Most cops file for one with a judge.  But, hey, this is Aruba and we don't understand their system.  

And if Anita thinks we are stupid enough to believe that, well she should have gotten her tales straight with ALE first.  IT is always helpful when all concerned are telling the same lies instead of contradicting each other all over the place like this.
