Hotshot, how did we find out about the blond and the late-night partying our Sporter is doing now?  Of course, I understand if you cannot divulge that, but we sure do want to know all we can about this evil critter.
A friend of mine lives there and works at the marriott

In the financial bulletin over April data which come from Executive Board immigration and the central office for, have been processed statistics (CBS). The bank reaches the conclusion that both the number of tourists and the occupancy in the hotels decreased. The number of cruising tourists decreased in April 2006 with 12.9 percent with respect to a year rather and came in 17.1 percent less cruising ships there. The number of tourists that by plane arrived, decreased with 14.7 percent. This percentage is the result of the difference between the first trimester of 2006 compared to the same period in 2005. The bank communicates further that the average occupancy in hotels decreased to 81.3 percent (compared to April 2005). By means of information of cruising Tourism Authority CBA let know that the number of cruising passengers in April decreased with 12.9 percent, compared to April 2005. The number of cruising ships moored that in Aruba decreased also, with 17.1 percent.

RED, thanks. Looks like an across the board drop.

I hope they give Paulus millions.

Well now Hotshot has got me sitting here trying to figure out the attraction with guys like that...... Rolling Eyes

Guys like what?

Ya know, guys like the sporter.... or Scott Peterson.... or Ted Bundy.....

I guess some girls like it rough, or to be pushed around.  It's beyond me.

Is he out in public in Aruba with this girl ?
At the casinos ?
That would make an interesting front page post or a front page of the Globe or the National Enquirer. but you would need pictures of him and her together.
He is very cocky isn't he ?
Plus what kind of a job did he get ? Casino inspector ?
Drink tester ?

Yes he is right out in the open.  Someone needs to get there for this.  LOL, his job is in Holland, but I'd like to know how all this gets paid for too.  Did he pay for the Girlfriend to come over too?  Cocky, I'll say..
OK, I am making it a night now, so good night all...

Do wonder how long the powers that be will let this continue, especially when they know how to solve the problem.

Maybe it is the powers that be that has continued this charade to go on, for fear of something worse.  Maybe the powers that be can survive quite well with on-line gambling and the rest of them can just go to hell in a handbasket, for I doubt the powers that be cares about the rest of the island.  It appears that a good many of them live in third-world-type squallor while the Dutch live in good neighborhoods.

Too many involved, possibly. Image the wrath that would come down on a single whistle-blower? The Jossy bashing would pale in comparison.

Hey, Monkeys that are still here!  Looks like Hotshot had some info on Joran and his partying.  I haven't been able to go back and read all but say it mentioned on this page.  Is he in Aruba for the summer?

I like your optimism Carnut. I've got some too.

1) The civil case will go forward.

2) The criminal case will be initiated by Janssen(timed around the civil).

3) Beth will write a book.( the real fear in Aruba).

Oh, yes, when Beth writes that book, the fear will be palpable there.  The rats will be scrambling.  Oh, happy day.

Boycott Crushing Aruba

Where is the "official investigation" of the strange case of the disappearing tourist girl?

And it's reported findings re: accountabilities and recco's for remedies?

Failure to Perform.

No Job.

No benefits.

No pension -- and any earn-ins revoked.

No immunity from prosecution.

Where's the "investigation"?

Rats indeed, Tylergal. My favorite monkey media expert Goon Squad(where is he anyway?) predicted how everything would play out as far back as July. And he always noted Beth's book as being the hammer.

did you enjoy it.  typing in the dark...LOL

Oh yes, it was such a rush.  I would have done it again right away, if it weren't for the gazillion steps we had to climb to get to the platform.  It wasn't tied by your feet. We wore like a parachute jumper's harness, and the cord was attached to your back waist.  It was all calculated very carefully based on your weingeeght and height and the distance to drop.  Then they chose your bungee cord accortidng to those parameters and then attached the correct length.  Then we had to stand backwards on the platfoorm with our heels hanging over, and then just fall backwards into space.  What a feeling! And then you bounce a number of times and finally land in one of those huge air/baffel mattresses.  I have a great picture of me with pure exhiliration written all over my face.   Very Happy  Very Happy
