There is a report on Murt's blog that divers alerted to something at Blanchard Park.  Don't get too excited because it could be trolls.

Thanks I just saw that too.  We just have to sit tight and wait and see.

I am curious... is the food/water needed for the TES organizers?  I would think that the volunteers that are searching came with their own water & food.  I can't imagine that they would expect food and water to be given to them.  If I was showing up to help I would bring my own water and/or snacks and/or a sack lunch.  Not trying to question anything or be negative, but just curious.

Good question. was wondering the same thing. would be hard to feed 3,000 people.

What am I doing wrong, I don't see anything on the CNN feed.

This is all so awesome, on the ground there and here in cyberspace.

Can you even imagine if this were your little granddaughter all these people are looking for.

I would feel blessed and crying my heart out if this many people showed up to search for her. I would empty my bank account out to help them in any way. You can't put a price tag on your baby's life, but apparently some people can.

NBC paid Anthonys 'nominal' fee for use of photographs

NBC paid Anthonys 'nominal' fee for use of photos
6:04 p.m.

NBC News just confirmed it paid a "nominal" fee for photographs as part of its coverage of the Casey Anthony case.

The Orlando Sentinel asked NBC to address a rumor that it paid George and Cindy Anthony for their interview on the Today Show this morning.

A spokeswoman said in an e-mail: "NBC News does not pay for interviews. NBC News paid a nominal licensing fee for photos, which is standard in the industry."

She would not say how much NBC News paid.

The Sentinel also asked the Anthony's spokesman, Larry Garrison, if any member of the Anthony family has received compensation from news or entertainment organizations.

Garrison replied via e-mail, "No family member is receiving money for interviews."

WHOO HOO!!

WEBG Oldies in Orlando.  The DJ just urged listeners to call up the local delivery restaurant and order something, anything, for all those WONDERFUL searchers!

(Was not able to single out one restaurant name for commercial air rights reasons, but atleast is was said!)

Thank you so much, Dolce.

wondering why the food situation was not already taken care of. And what about tomorrow?
Will they have the same problem with food and water?

Don't know, but IMO GA and CA should have begged TES on bended knee to take the profits of even one of their interviews/photos or voluteered to handle the food/water logistics as a thank you ,since really their presence is for publicity purposes anyway. It would go a long way to change public opinion about them

I agree, GA and CA should have done something. Their letter alone is not enough, IMO. If they are trying to change the public's opinion of them, helping TES today would have been a good start.

It sounded like they might be going in shifts so the ones coming in from searching, even if they had brought a sandwhich with them would appreciate a a snack and a soda while they rested up , that's my guess.

I'm sure a lot of people followed instructions and brought their own supplies, but when you are dealing with the masses you can't take chances of someone passing out b/c they ate their lunch for breakfast and now they have nothing. I'm sure a lot of these folks have never done something like this and so were not quite as prepared as seasoned searchers. There might have been some that thought they would only search for a couple of hours but got caught up in the cause and decided to stay longer. I hope so!

If you all live in the Florida area, you might call school groups, Pta's, basbeball, soccer, etc groups and challenge them to raise money for TES.  They are going to need money after this for other searches .......

Also, VFW's, Legions, etc.
