BLAH, isn't this your neck of the woods?  Could you verify that she made these donations or any of this story?  Maybe call that hospital and ask if donations were made by this family, etc.?  That sort of does away with the kidnapping for insurance money theory.

My neck of the woods - yes.  I know someone who I believe knows the family or is even part of the extended family but I have to sort of run into them by chance as I do not have contact info.  I ran into the person several months ago when the board was discussing this case but it was not a good time/place to ask questions.  I have kept an eye out and will get whatever info I can whenever,  this has never left the back of my mind.  I believe the family has a website but forget the address.

Yes there were $1,000,000 apartments in that building.  So it wasn't just for the Hospital.

Maybe see what you could find out without actually contacting the family such as donations made to charity, etc. Then later when familiar with it all, contact the fam and see about Dana?  I think that would be a good thing to do.

It would be so good for this family to have closure and justice as well as Natalee's.  They, too, don't know what happened to this child and live just as Beth and Dave do, not knowing on top of the loss of her husband.  But certain members of the Dark Side pretend the man Max was with was his stepfather when he was somebody they met in Aruba.

I also wonder why the FBI picked this up after Natalee disappeared.  Were they not on it before then?  

So remember if you disappear in Aruba, even as a child, your loved ones can have horrible charges and accusations and smears made about them.  This is just not right, not at all.

Going to go watch the news coverage of the crash.  You'd think people would be on their utmost guard in that area considering!  I know we were all ill thinking people trapped above a fire line after 9/11.  Maybe most at work, sure hope so.  We didn't need this reminder. . . . .

Have heard three sets of small planes going over real fast and low here.  Maybe out of Pensacola.  Too fast for me to get to window to see what they are.  Little fighter planes of some sort.

Prayers for all involved including those on the airplane.
