IMO no....Tim said he cleared the river.....his equipment is very high tech...if there had been anything there TES would have found it...I think that is admirable of LP...but I think he needs to check with TES and and confirm the area was check with the side sonar scanner.

I have read conflicting accounts on this .... I have heard that Tim cleared the river AND I have read that it was never searched by TES b/c it was not one of LE's sited areas .... anyone know which is the truth?

According to that guy from the crime blog.. the one following TES around, Tim stated that he did not believe that was an area they should be searching at, since it was not on OCSO's "radar".

As for any other searches there, I don't know how much they did there, if at all. Brian from SOS had that Wyatt dude on there, stating that he and his group helped a former? TES team leader search in the area, because the team leader claimed his searchers didn't do a good enough job.. so Wyatt went out, and they found that rope connected to something off the shore line. But I don't know if they ever went back out and examined what may have come off the rope.

LP would like to know if we would like him to put 12 or more divers back into the river and continue the search all the way to the Wild Bird Preserve.  He will be basing his decision partly on what we think....he wants to find Poor Caylee so bad.....Des

I believe she told Murt that she didn't see anything bad on there.. thus no reason to hand it over, I'm guessing. However, she's no computer genius, I'm guessing. How does she know? She doesn't know what he may or may not have had on there... and why would he just suddenly give her his computer? Simply out of the kindness of his heart? And it's still too much of a coinkydink (IMO) that they are both now connected to this case.. in a backward kind of way.

What's gonna happen when one day, Cindy's at the grocery store, the mall, the bookstore, wherever.. sees a little girl who she thinks looks exactly like Caylee.. and causes a scene? Scares the poor girl half to death, claiming it's "her" Caylee?  Sadly.. I don't think this is far off from being a reality.

Even if Lois didn't see anything bad on the computer, all the stuff that was ever on there is in the hard drive.  It would take a computer wiz to be able to find it...

I think it odd he said to ask here first.Intuition maybe but I just don't see the need myself.I heard someone say yesterday that there is two feet of sludge on the bottom.Add the factor of alligators,flooding,what are the chances?It has been several months now.If Tim said there was no reason to search there,why do it?Why is LP so adamant Caylee is there?It just doesn't seem logical at all to me...
Now maybe if the female BH that got the boot said something like,I over heard Casey say or Casey told me,maybe I'd feel differently..I'd be more apt to say do it but then again,I'd contact Tim first with all his experience and ask him to do it! So I guess what I'm saying is*whatever*..

The amount of money and resources spent because of Casey and her family is just astronomical. I hear ya, Tater.

I hate to see more money spent in an area that Tim says TES has cleared, but I do so want her to be found!

It's a tough one, I agree.

Earlier today, someone talked about the difference between the two men, which was explained well.  It's not about who is right or who is wrong.  They both are doing everything within their power or ability to try to find Caylee and are both to be commended.

If LP is willing to spend his own money to continue the search for Caylee in the river, I trust that he has his own instincts that are guiding him.  It's no money out of anyone elses pocket.  I just hope he doesn't go into $100,000 debt as Tim and his team.

Didn't Tim's group buy a new locating software package for 150000 just recently?  Is that why?  Just wondering.
