Miller also said he's frustrated with bounty hunter Leonard Padilla, who started his own search Monday in an area Miller claims isn't even on sheriff's investigators radar.

"There's no evidence to lead anyone to believe there's a good reason to dive. I would only hope it's not for self promotional reasons and turning this into a circus," Miller said.

I just found this post on WS, and I had to share.. it seems to make sense to me..

http://websleuths.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2929547&postcount=92

The real travesty is the fact that this child's own family, most specifically her own mother, is the reason for this so called media circus.

The real travesty is that it shouldn't have ever come down to a complete stranger wanting to search for her.

The real travesty is that it is taking a bounty hunter, who deals with hardened criminals on a daily basis, to have the heart soft enough to want to continue looking for this precious little girl.

Leonard is damned if he does, and damned if he doesn't, because if he does, he will continue to be criticized and called a media whor....well you know. If he doesn't people will criticize him saying he had his media time and is going back. More than likely, the people in both scenarios above will be the same.

I don't blame him one bit for trying to get a feel for public opinion, simply because of the above scenarios!!

What this precious little girl needs, is someone MAN enough, and with enough balls to stand up to everyone and anyone who is getting in the way of finding this child and giving her the justice she deserves. If Leonard is that man, and we all know he has the balls to do so, then I say more power to him. He has my full support. How anyone on earth can say that it is a waste of money to find this child, just blows my mind. God help them that it shall not ever be their child, or grandchild, etc. Then let them tell me what price do you put on that child's worth.

Do you all think the JC Penny receipt really had something damning on it or Cindy was too lazy to look for it/??
I'm coming in late here, BUT why can't LE just get a copy of the receipt from JC Penneys?

Hi tcumom

At the time of Cindy's interview with LE ... she had not voluntarily turned over her statement.

I cannot comprehend that ... in the name of the investigation ... why that statement could not be Subpoena.  Casey Anthony ... the main suspect in the Caylee Marie case ... used that credit card in the month following the last sighting of her daugher.

"You can't hold it back," Melich said.

Hi Everyone - do you have any idea how difficult it is to catch up on about 60 pages!!!

I have a thought about Caylee in the river.  If she is in there, she may very well be able to be found.  After all of the decomposition and fluids, Casey had to be carrying her in some kind of a container - bag, cooler, suitcase, etc.  It's very possible that Caylee is still in the container.  Casey probably read about the Riley Sawyers story where the plastic container floated to the island, so my guess is that she would have put holes in the container or suitcase so it would sink.  The hurricane probably moved everything around, but it might still be intact and just further down the river. If Caylee is still in the container, her remains might still be together.  I don't think an alligator would eat a suitcase.

When Orlando LE was questioning Casey at the beginning, one of her stories was that she and Caylee were with Zany and Zany's sisters at Blanchard Park.  Zany and her sisters jumped her, took Caylee, and drove away.  Blanchard Park has been part of Casey's lies and this just might be a shred of truth.  If asked, Casey could honestly say that the last she saw Caylee, it was at Blanchard Park.

Has anyone seen Lee. I have a very strange feeling that he is not in the area or he is so angry about something that he is no longer connecting with his family?  Has the second indictment from the Grand Jury ever been served?  That was about the time frame that he went AWOL.

LP's theory is that she was in a trash bag in the trunk and that bag broke as Casey removed the bag, creating the stain in the trunk which eventually created the horrible death smell in the car.

Just saying.

Why couldn't have been a trash bag to start out then transfered to a suitcase? Or a suitcase that she was in, and the fluids "leaked" through.

I hate talking about our baby like that. Sad

Yeah, I do too.

But I don't see her putting the trash bag in a suitcase at the park.

I am not saying this is my theory, mind you. Just saying that was LP's theory that he seems to strongly believe.

Article I hadn't seen yet.. found it on somebody's blog

http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/local/orange/orl-casey1108nov11,0,5178657.story

With Texas EquuSearch, 83 volunteers broke up into teams near Econlockhatchee Trail and Berry Dease Road on Monday, using long poles to look for clothing and bones among the dried leaves and pine needles.

Whenever a volunteer found something questionable, Dixie, a 6 1/2 -year-old cadaver dog, was called to check it out.

"Show me, Dixie, show me," instructed her handler, Gage Angle, 18.

Angle and Dixie work with Urban Search and Rescue, a nonprofit K-9 search team from Hilton Head Island, S.C., that teamed up with Texas EquuSearch. Angle has been volunteering for Urban Search and Rescue for three years and said the search for Caylee's remains has been the most difficult.

"We've never had a failed search," he said. "This is the only one that doesn't look good."

Two-year-old Caylee disappeared in June, and her mother, Casey Anthony, 22, was charged with first-degree murder and also faces charges of aggravated child abuse, aggravated manslaughter of a child and four counts of providing false information to law enforcement.

An estimated 1,400 volunteers turned out Saturday for the latest search effort, which continued through the weekend and wrapped up Monday.

By 2:30 p.m., volunteers were low on food and water so Dave Rader, a volunteer from Cincinnati who led Monday's largest group of EquuSearch workers -- about 45 to 55 -- called off the search.

"Never stop looking," Rader told workers before they disbanded. "The way I'm looking at it is, now we know where she's not."

Likewise, nothing turned up in Padilla's dive search at Jay Blanchard Park. Padilla said he remained convinced that Caylee's remains were in the nearby river.

"She's in that river," he said. "I'd rather think of her as in that river than in a garbage heap somewhere."

Tim Miller, founder of Texas EquuSearch, was aggravated at Padilla's search, calling it a media stunt.

"It's the Leonard Padilla show," he said. "Forget about Caylee Anthony."

Miller said Texas EquuSearch had already checked that area in a boat with scanning equipment.

"There's nothing there," he said.

If this area is not even on the sheriff's radar, how is it that Miller searched it and can describe every lump and bump and bucket, etc?

I have no idea... she could be in a bag, container, suitcase, or all three.  Just from what I have read, though, Caylee's body would have been very mushy with a lot of fluid.  Her skin would have been coming off, her limbs would have been separating, and the maggots would have taken a heavy toll.  Casey wouldn't have been able to carry her if she weren't in some kind of a container or bag.  She could still be in that container or bag.

All that I know is he is her neighbor.  I believe it was an old PC not a laptop.
