Kermit - I see you lurking.  Here's a treat if you'll help us with the initials.

I stand with the girl, Natalee Holloway.

"I can look back over the past 10 years and there were no steps wasted, and there are no regrets,'' she said. "I did all I knew to do and I think that gives me greater peace now." "I've lived every parent's worst nightmare and I'm the parent that nobody wants to be," she said.

Is it more likely that the F-16's were used for oil exploration or search for Natalee?

my vote is oil exploration

I was lost still posting on the last thread.

The photograph below is oceanexploration.

VMS - could I please have some links to the John Coffey guy and could someone explain how he would be connected to the fish trap coverup and the Persistence search?  Is he a diver?

2NJ - OE was here in NJ because he was going to school at Rutgers.  I think he and his wife and new baby are living in Texas or LA now.

Mags - I am so starting to lean toward what you said about him being the Monkey.  He even refused to give Private Eye any information about the shirt and the trap - that's family. The Frog did keep telling us to go back and read PEs posts.  Froggy also put his picture up with the rest of them - that's a big message.

This is how the picture thing went to the best of my recollection....

Someone sent Klaas the pictures in an e-mail.  No idea who it was.
Klaas posted them briefly in just a small size and then took them down.
We all begged to see them again.

Then Robin was over at RU arguing all about how they should have
never been copied from her site.  Even RU told her that if you put
it on the internet it is public.  Robin was all about it is a private site, etc.
GaGirl or whoever that GA person was backing Robin up and there was
a big tussle over at RU.  But the pictures were up there and stayed there.
I can't remember if Robin posted them at BNH or FOB.

Then Kyle was over here telling that the pictures should have never
been posted.  I think he had already sent Red a pretty testy e-mail.
He said some unkind things to Klaas, but she held her own.  He later
apologized, I think.

Meanwhile, the pictures were all over the place and finally we got to see
then all we wanted.

LOL, expertise, not mine either but IIRC people on the ground stated at the time the F-16's (2),  were doing their grid patterns the F-16's were flying very low & very fast.  So in my ignorant mind looking for a young woman about 105 lbs or so would be much more difficult than looking for large objects, rock formations that would indicate the plausible called for geological characteristics that would indicate conditions of oil exploration worthiness.  Those F-16's were certainly flying over the ocean, lots of ocean.  It seemed at the time total overkill of resources if the resources were even feasible considering the size of Natalee who they claimed to be searching for.  When searches are done with heat sensor equipment in our country they use hellicopters.  I actually don't remember the technology being utilized by the F-16's.

This is pretty much the way I got it, too, but I think John Silvetti's sister, Lexi, was also involved somehow in posting.

I'm with you...just cannot confirm or deny....science was not one of my strong points, but I am interested in learning each day.

OK I give up. Who is Kermit talking about?

Could OE have been so upset with the pictures being posted because the contents (ALL of them) had already gone to the FBI, secretly? Then the TV dive showed nothing left in the cage. Well, could this be possible?

This case is beyond belief!

FWIW...Robin posted them at BNH...don't know who copied them...I thought it was JackBlue...

Ocean...Kyle or any of those haven't posted at BFN for quite some time now...

I thought I understood the conversation about Paulis as saying that he had to go send a package...maybe I read that wrong...I don't know if he did or not...

I've been catching up reading all evening....finally am...
