I don't want to mention any names, but if a person knows where a body is, and they do not inform Le, but instead search for said body and make a profit off of it, are they obstructing justice?????

Probably. But that's not what is happening here. A person thinks he knows where the body is, and has informed LE, and they've said they don't agree and aren't interested in searching the area.

Anthonys' new spokeswoman says family will speak this week
Sara K. Clarke

Sentinel Staff Writer

November 17, 2008

A spokeswoman for a missing-children network said she will work on behalf of the family of missing 3-year-old Caylee Marie Anthony after allegations last week that their former representative was cashing in on the media firestorm ignited by the child's disappearance.

Michelle Bart, who has been representing the Kid Finders Network in the case of the missing girl, said she was asked by the group to work on behalf of the Anthony family as well.

"As time went on, things started unraveling with the circumstances of their previous spokesperson," said Bart, who runs Helping Heroes Inc., a Vancouver, Wash.-based public-relations company that works with nonprofit organizations.

Last week, the Anthony family's attorney, Mark NeJame, accused former family spokesman Larry Garrison of hiding a $6,500 payment from NBC for providing photos of Caylee.

NeJame said the Anthonys fired Garrison. The former spokesman said he resigned because of the family's erratic behavior.

Bart has already announced a news conference for this week, something she says "should have been done weeks ago."

She said the meeting will include Caylee's grandparents, Cindy and George Anthony; NeJame; the Kid Finders Network; and a private investigator who has been working on the case. Bart said they will discuss tips and findings in recent weeks that have led the Anthonys to think their granddaughter is still alive. Police have said they think the girl is dead.

"Hopefully, by the end of the week the public will understand why we've been searching for Caylee Marie," Bart said. "We truly believe that Caylee Marie is alive."

Calls to NeJame and the Anthony family were not returned.

Caylee, who was last seen in June, was reported missing in mid-July. Authorities have charged her mother, Casey Anthony, in her death.

Bart said she won't discuss the legal case against Casey, but reporters can ask "anything that needs to be asked" regarding the search for Caylee.

She said the Anthonys will have little to say after the news conference unless there are new developments. Bart said she doesn't think they need to be available for comment on a daily basis.Cindy has been the one doing the interviews that were setup.

Though the news media has been helpful in keeping the public eye on Caylee's case, she said every interview is "time that we could put efforts elsewhere."

"Caylee needs to come home, one way or another," Bart said.Well at least that statement is true but if they want the public to believe that she is alive...a pretty dumg one to make for a spokesperson.

Have you noticed Bozo's spokesperson admitted she was dead and now the A's new one says something like that. Do people not think before speaking for someone or is it in the water?

BIG thought that has been in my mind for a while.
We know Cindy washed the pants.  If she did attempt to clean out the car, or George did, then did LE confiscate the vacuum bag, or the contents of the trash can, shop vac, etc.?  THere could have been more than one hair in that case.....
Just thinking.

I think the truth always manages to wiggle its way out, in small amounts or large. Even George and Cindy's mouths have spoken the truth at times ... For example, "smells like there's been a dead body in the damn car." The truth.

I think alot of evidence was possibly in the A's home but did they ever search things like that?
I am sure long gone by now. I think the stuffed toys Lee was so proudly throwing out that had been left by people (the smoky ones) there possibly were some from the car thrown out. I don't think we will ever know but this family behaves very strange.

Caylee needs to come home, one way or another, said Michele Bart. I was wondering about that statement also. They were to give their press conf this morning, but Nejame is out of town, and will have the press conf later this week. Didn't they know he was out of town, did they just realize this on the day they were to give the conf?

Monkeys,
I posted the other myspace of Spyder to simply point out that you are the company you keep.  Aren't we doing the same thing to Kidfinders?  I don't think it's relative, in his regard, to the search efforts as I think I pointed out.  I do think that everyone who is an integral part of this investigation should be looked at for motive, means and opportunity.  If LE suspects LP of planting evidence, then the divers would be under scrutiny too, IMO.

He's too old for me, but I still think he's hot for his age  .  It's the "bad boy" image that I find myself attracted to, but as another monkey said "just for fun" and not to take home to meet the parents.    That said, I'm uncertain when he became a bounty hunter but previously he was a photographer.  That just clears some things up for me, and that's the only reason for sharing.

Padilla Offered $200K To Allow Filming Of Search For Caylee
Monday, November 17, 2008 1:16:39 PM

ORLANDO -- News 13 has learned bounty hunter Leonard Padilla is considering an offer that would pour $200,000 into the search for Caylee Anthony.

Padilla told News 13 he has been contacted by a company that is willing to fund the search effort if Padilla is willing to give them exclusive rights to film the search effort.

The bounty hunter said he has not made a final decision on if he is willing to take the offer.

Padilla has returned to California, and will stay there for the next couple of weeks. He said he will return to Orlando and do a thorough search of the Little Econ River, where he still maintins he is "sure" Caylee's remains are in that water.

Wouldn't it be funny if the company offereing Padilla $200,000 turned out to be SilverCreek Entertainment which (my understanding) is owned by Larry Garrison

I kinda like the unscripted Murt version of filming the search. Then again I am also a big fan of The Blair Witch Project too. I like the raw element.
