It's that time of year...again...

Anyone spot any internet leaks of Black Friday sales? 

My sister studies these, and assigns everyone certain targets.  I will probably be out in the cold 3 or 4 hours before some store opens to get one or two of the specials. 

My favorite place is the fabric store...even though I do not need any more...it really never goes bad... 

Anyone else?

I'm glad you posted this... I've been to some of the Black Friday sites in search of info on computers... mine is nearly as old as me and time to get a new one.

Any techno Monkeys out there with ideas... please share!

Oh Whiskeygirl...I love a fabric store.  My mother did a lot of sewing for me when I was young...just to walk into a fabric store brings back the best memories...looking at pattern books...choosing fabric!  Mom's been gone 10 years now, but I feel closest to her when I'm sewing...thanks for taking me there!

Are you my mother-in-law?  Every year she sends us a card with a check in it.  I turn mine right over to my husband.  I have enough money, thank you.  I just think it is rude that your time is so precious to you that you cannot go out and buy a little token of a gift whether for Christmas or a birthday.  To me, it's not the gift, it's the effort.  Even a home made gift would be better than a check.
