As an aside, we have heard from Baez repeatedly that we will understand Casey's side of the story at trial -- I would like to know from whom?  I don't think you can reveal Casey's side of the story from Casey herself --

I think possibly this guy contacted the defense himself.

Hi OK.  I do not understand how these people flip flop.  Don't they worry about their reputation?  Most of all, don't they worry about a little girl who has left this world through no choice of her own by the hand of the very person she should have been able to trust, no matter what?  It is beyond sad, it is beyond understanding, it is beyond sane.

I think LE is just letting the family hang themselves on this. Cindy has given numerous interviews and her stories don't match, George is trying to setup his future job looking for missing children and the more they play out these scenarios, tips, etc the more they make mistakes. That is probably why Lee is out of the loop right now since I believe he knows the whole thing.

Hope you're right but I am concerned about the damage being done to the unfortunate missing persons family's in the future & the good non-profits out there that work so hard to aid people/family's in need of help.  These types of scammer's are just so damaging it is sickening.

LA is right out of the same barrel, think he's taken an out of reach approach as a backup plan.  If the GA & CA plan to cash in isn't successful & can't get any offers they are hoping that LA will appear untainted to do the cashing in & share the wealth, lol they very well could have already negotiated a letter of agreement between LA & themselves, Count Chocula could have tended to that, it would not be disclosed.  They really do think the American public consists of complete moronic idiots.  They have book & movie royalty's as a priority, 2nd to nothing, not even that waste of breath KC.  They will go along with the story of the sensational type that boo hoo they are just victims too as the parents, to bring them to their goal, no matter who's name it is under, rest assured they have taken care of business.  The more outlandish the story these creatures/ghouls figure the larger the payout, they prefer the story to give the appearance that they have always been supportive, loving parents, I suspect nothing could be further from the truth.  With this type it is all about keeping up with the Jones' & appearances, behind closed doors it is a house of sociopath's & narcisism, imo.

Can Casey Anthony Get a Fair Trial?

I was channel surfing and hit the Nancy Grace program last night. Like an auto accident on the highway, you want to move on but you just can't look away.

It struck me that now that the police have released all of the taped interviews with Casey, the 500 text messages from her phone and interviews from other people involved in the case, what will be left to review at trial?

They have already said that internet searches for chloroform were found on her computer and they did find traces of chloroform in the trunk of her car. Her email was deleted prior to Caylee's disappearance.

Based on what I saw, Nancy Grace has already decided that Casey is guilty of premeditated murder, even though the police have declined to charge her at this point, since wonder of wonders, they have no evidence of murder at this point.

According to Nancy Grace, it is obvious and the police must be stupid not to charge her and get her into the death chamber ASAP. Any time one of her guests tries to make any statement that appears even slightly favorable to the defense, she cuts them off and lectures them on the "law", even if they happen to be attorneys.

I am just wondering what remote corner of the country they will have to change the venue to in order to find enough jurors who have not already heard most of the evidence presented by Nancy Grace and prosecuted by same.

Of course, the Casey Anthony case may begin to lose its sensational appeal for Nancy Grace now that a new even juicier case is on the horizon; the mother who kidnapped her 4 non-custodial children during an unsupervised visit 5 days ago and are still missing.

Shows like this get under my skin when they take away all presumption of innocence and decide the verdict based on parts of the evidence.

Also, I have to wonder how they got over 500 text messages. Did they come from her phone? Or from the carrier? Carriers typically all claim to only keep three days of messages. But these span over a month. And the mysterious SIM card that somehow got lost as well as the one that was in her phone, but was not from "that" phone.

I suppose we will just have to keep watching Nancy Grace to get all the "facts".

Good find. The SIM card and phone talk was Casey's info to her brother from jail call. What an idiot!
Where has this guy been since 9/11? Any kind of info is available for the legal experts to get ahold of. I would imagine when we use our store cards to get discounts that is even attainable for them to see what we bought. It is all in a system somewhere.

Yes, but these people will deny even when caught red handed.

When Casey pleaded not guilty to stealing from Amy, that should have sealed the deal for anyone who thought she was innocent.  If she can lie when caught dead to rights, she will lie any time it suits her.  Heck, she lies as a sport.

I am in the process of watching the FBI tape of Cindy and I have found a clue for what it's worth.  Cindy hands a flyer of Caylee to the FBI guy and says that the picture at the bottom of the flyer was taken at Zanny's.  It appears to me this is the picture: 
Notice the curtains in the background and the drum set.  Cindy says that Zanny had a drum set and a keyboard.  Who else had a drum set?  Wasn't it Nate?  Didn't he say in the Greta interview that when Caylee came over to the house he would put her on his drum set and let her play? 
Notice the same curtain in these two other pictures:


So who's apartment is this?  If lying Casey told her mom it was Zanny's apartment, but was really Nate's and his roommates, wouldn't this kinda tell you that there was no Zanny in the first place?  I guess I'm saying that Casey continued with this Zanny story when there wasn't a Zanny (and I know we all know that), but this kinda reinforces it if you ask me.  Just thought I'd bring this out.

IIRC Cindy learned later that this picture was taken at Ricardo Morales apt ... You know, the boyfriend that George didn't know existed ....

I had spoken in here before, earlier in this case about these photo's and I said then that these photos are gonna be very bad,   Casey in compromising positions and alot of partying going on..........Also, Is Cindy really listening to what she is saying.....my God she just goes on and on about nothing at all........Doesshe really believe that Casey is trying to give her TIPS about where Caylee is, Jeez whats up with that, what are they suppose to do Guess about who and what happened and then Casey can say....I didnt tell our little secret, they guessed.....so very Stupid......

I thought of you when they were discussing those photos, I remember you talking about that.

I just cant wait until the trial because I believe that the Anthony's are gonna be shown just how much they didnt know about Casey and what she was doing......They are gonna see just how BAD Casey really is, that might just be the thing that opens Cindy's eues about how capable Casey is to do alot of things she didnt think she was capable of......

IMO Cindy will never attend the trial....not one day of it.That would be smacking her in the face with the truth and she definitely will not go there.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando) -- Late Friday Cindy Anthony, grandmother of missing toddler Caylee Anthony, said that a photo of a possible sighting of Caylee was taken at the Florida Mall in South Orange County.


The photo was taken by a mall patron and given to D&A Investigations, Inc who is working with the Anthony family. When the photo was originally released Friday, the location given was a mall in West Florida.

D&A says the picture has been given to the Orange County Sheriff's Office and the FBI .

D&A is asking anyone with information on this possible sighting of Caylee to call 1-888-231-5618 or cayleetips@yahoo.com.

If so, I believe that she already had another ID, SSN, with a different identity that she was going to use, had she not been caught. I also believe that Casey & Lee were able to talk to each other before she was taken to jail & that he went to the apartment where she was staying specifically to remove incriminating evidence! He screwed up the laptop & disposed of any ID & anything else that Casey had possession of there. Then he brought home the things that had no significance. I believe he should be charged as an accessory, his time is coming, and I'm sure the FBI has told him so.
