Casey Anthony's Attorney Can Bring Laptop To Jail
Monday, November 24, 2008 – updated: 5:23 pm EST November 24, 2008

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Casey Anthony's lawyer won't have to fight for his laptop.

Jose Baez is supposed to go to court Tuesday asking to see more evidence from investigators (read all motions). He was also going to ask for special permission to bring his laptop to the jail when he visits Casey.

But Monday, the jail told Eyewitness News it has suddenly changed its laptop policy. They will allow private attorneys to carry in their computers starting next month.

I hope that's the right link...LA's statement re:  ID and wallet contents...Page 24 and 25.  The card LE took was a white card behind KC's photo ID.

Anothermonkey....I like the way you think!

What I would like to know is if the attorneys will be allowed internet access?  I see internet access as a problem, just having a laptop no problem.

It appears the high traffic is causing some down time.  Luckily, Dugga has it set to see the trouble and reset itself.  Sometimes it does take a few minutes though.

Cindy pocketed the money from Casey's wallet, she figured it was hers. Hell was breaking loose that night, and there she was pocketing money, that should have stayed in the wallet for evidence.

LE Did take the ID.  Lee stated he wasn't exactly sure what the card was, but it reminded him of possibly an old style driver's license.
Quote
uhm, immediately the officer's hand went In
there and grabbed something that was behind that i.d. (identification). It looked
to me white like the oid style driver's license, or learner's permit or something like
that. That's what I assumed. But it struck me and I noticed it because of how
quickly the officer went in and grabbed that Uhm, i couldn't tei! you for sure
what that was, but...

I'm assuming that that's what was snatched from the...
Okay.
...that the officer grabbed. But if, again, I can only attest to I saw one-driver's
license. It's looks a lot like the newer versions tike, you know, mine, it has ali
those holograms and stuff on it. Uhm, aside from whatever that other more
predominately white, I, I'm just calling it....
You don't know what it was?
...an i.d. because it was shaped as one and I'm, that's my best guess on what it
would have been. But i did noi see any other form of identification in there
whatsoever.

Brandi...it's unclear if LE took her license as well.  Lee states that he only saw one driver's license and then this white card that was shaped like a license (which he definitely says LE took).  He described it as possibly an old license or a learner's permit..but without any holograms, etc.  Does this make sense?

Seems to be how she acts. She did the same kinda thing by washing the pants, etc. left in the car when they got it home from the tow yard.

Yeah, makes sense. I still think Cindy snatched that ID from the wallet along with the cash. I could be wrong, but that is my belief. Wink

According to this last press conference they just gave, they want to see every video and manifest log on all airlines, well, good luck with that. They are talking about human trafficking, I wonder if this is going to be the defense?
