Could be but my youngest was born in 1985 and they were doing sonograms then, and had been for a while, I think.

TxLady2, my son was also born in 1985...I've been sitting here trying to remember if they had the ultrasounds ... I was never given the option of having a picture of it. 

Does anyone have picture from the WESH video tour of the Anthony home maybe we can get this confirmed thru a still of the video?

Comment in regards to the posts above on Drugs and Usage within Youth for recreation/addiction.

We have had a huge issue with Drugs that have ended with Death of many Under 18 yr in my area within the last few years.

Most victims have been white, female and from wealthy families. The drug of choice " Heroin".  As I was told via my friend who has taught within High School for over 20 yrs that Heroin is not what it was or is to be. It now comes in a Pill form. Therefore no needle marks. Can be crushed and snorted. She lost 3 students in one semester. One girl 17, I remember her from the news,  Ah her body was found in a abandon car in an alley. She was in the back seat and was found that she got a hold of a death batch - that had been on the news for weeks upon weeks. ** Notifying Drug users and or families of addicts that there was death laden drugs being sold in Detroit.

She was a Good Student and was respected and had a 2nd lifestyle ... that killed her.

I have had discussions with my own daughter and she has told me on multiple occasions that her friends take their parents prescriptions and either sell them or take them.
I have never been thankfully a prescription user and at times can kick myself for not having Advil in the house for myself.  I am not a pill taker and will let nature ride it out for headaches and such. 

I remember not too along ago - I was in the dark attempting to go into my Kitchen and I hit my toes on my Cat Tower and ....... Yep " Pop" I knew instantly that I broke my toe.
Long story short after xray only because my foot turned black - I was given not ONE but 2 scripts - One was Tylenol 4's and the other was Vicodin. I looked at the Doc and thought HOLY SH#T I am dying and she is faking it by telling me my toe is broke..
Are YOU kidding me all those meds for a Broken TOE. I went home and tore up the scripts and tossed them away. Went to work the next day and all my coworkers went Ape Crazy drewling ... Did you fill the scripts ...do you have the PILLS on you?

It's sad, but drugs are easy to obtain.  My doctor would order me anything I want.  I have to stop him all the time.  I want my bp and stomach pills, that's all.

I really do question that birth certificate.  Like other monkeys I checked out my children's b/c's, and on all of them there is tons more info.  Such as the address where their dad and I lived, our names (including my maiden name), and our signatures underneath.  They also have the time each was born, how much each weighed, their length, and if it was a single or multiple birth.  Also includes the name of the hospital, the doctor's name and address, along with the doc's signature underneath.

That's the birth certificate you get from the courthouse.

My son recently needed a birth certificate and due to a recent move I had no idea where his was, so he went down to the courthouse, showed his photo ID paid his ten bucks and got a replacement. Which is similar to the one of Caylee's.

It doesn't have the time or his size/weight. Just his name, my name, his dad's name, place/city of birth and date of birth.

It doesn't list the time he was born, his size or length, his dr's name like his original certificate did.

Really??  Wow!  I didn't realize that a copy, or replacement, would be so 'down-sized' with info.  Guess I figured that a copy would be an exact replica.  Thanks for the info!

There's nothing inherently suspicious about the birth certificate because, in the U.S.A., there are actually two forms of birth certificate used interchangeably: the "long form" and the "short form".

The "long form" is the official birth certificate recorded at the time of birth.  This is the kind of birth certificate you dug out of your records box, and it has lots of information on it.

However, the kind of birth certificate usually issued when you go to get a copy of your birth certificate (unless you specifically request the "long form") is the "short form", which has much less information on it than the "long form".  As long as the "short form" contains the child's name, date of birth, sex, place of birth, and the names of the child's parents, it can legally be used interchangeably with the "long form", as the state issuing the "short form" is effectively confirming the existence of a "long form".

Am learning so much tonight!  Guess we can teach an old dog new tricks. heh!  Thanks for that info!

Christmas colors are red and green ... the tree must not be fake ... milk and cookies are left for Santa by the fireplace along with a carrot for Rudolf ... one gift can be opened Christmas Eve ... Turkey must be served for Dinner and ... everybody has to have at least one brussel sprout.

I am sure all the above commandments regarding Christmas are written somewhere in some obscure book of the Bible soooo ... Tamikosmom is not taking any chances.

I see but how is decomp leaking thru to the trunk if she put Caylee's body in a container to begin with?

Many high-quality ice chests have spigots at the bottom, which are helpful for emptying out the water when the ice in them has melted, and for using the entire ice chest as a drinks dispenser.

Unless she thoroughly washed the corpse with hazmat-style decontamination procedures, shutting the corpse in just such an ice chest would have locked it in with all the oxygen and bacteria needed to speed up decomposition, and a leaky spigot would have allowed a little of the decomp out of the ice chest and onto the floor of the trunk.

I have one of these and took a quick look at it...there would have to be a lot of fluid for it to reach the spigot opening..1/2" +/- ..could there have been that much in the time frame allowed ? (assuming KC or other was trying to hold it level)

Also..could something like that be collapsable? a blue collapsable container was discussed a while back..I was trying to find a collapsable cooler, maybe for camping, but haven't found one with a spigot...good explanation for decomp stain tho..

I'm not sure the spare tire compartment would have been such a good idea, or even a way to cut down on the smell.  Some of them are exposed to the outside and have a handy "drip hole" for liquids that end up inside the spare tire compartment to drip out of the car.

When you're driving at speed with something liquid in the spare tire compartment, you might end up plastering whatever liquids are in the spare tire compartment all over the muffler, making an even worse smell.

But the car reports were stating something about debris under the car, the tire cover and a piece of the tire cover, which I thought was strange, maybe the tire cover had been ripped or cut.

She was up til all hours of the night even when she wasn't partying, so that's a good possibility. Also she is chatty cathy.

Personally I think had a more serious "addiction" been going on w/Casey ... we would have heard something about it ... She would have been taken to detox or rehab instead of county jail .. To have an addiction to the extent of "shooting up" would require rehab and a detox w/a supliment such as methadone or suboxone as not to have serious withdrawl complications.  IMO

If it was just the weed there would have been no serious withdrawal complications, and weed is still expensive enough to warrant getting all the extra money you can find.  There are a number of other drugs (LSD among them) which have no serious withdrawal complications (even for regular users) while still being quite expensive.  And despite prison official claims to the contrary, prisons are still great places to score some drugs (minus the obvious problem of having to do them inside a prison...).

Not to be argumentative but you don't "shoot up" weed ... and I agree, prison is a well known place to score all kinds of drugs, however given that Casey is not in general pop and has no visitors outside of Baez on a semi regular basis I would find that hard to believe ...

There are not too many mainstream drugs that are used to "shoot up" w/today's young adults that are not opiate based, a form methamphetimine or crack cocaine all of which would indeed need proper detox ... if used to the extent of "shooting up" or snorting .. 

You know that "hugging" rule? Drugs are the reason for it. Baez did a lot of hugging. IMO he was bringing her drugs. It's easy to conceal an addiction with the right enablers. I don't buy that she's drug-free, especially after looking at some of those pictures.

My sons were born in 80, 82 and 84.  We had sonograms then, but they didn't start giving out the pics until later on.  Darn it.

Who says she doesn't have money? I don't think she would tell anyone if she has a secret bank account. I'm sure she was stashing some of it away for her disappearing act. Plus going to the club, the cell phone bills, the gas in her car, she had to pay for that some of the time. She wasn't getting paid huge money, but some just the same IMO. I think she did it for the thrill, living life on the edge, being the center of attention.

She told Tony she had 15 grand in a bank account.

Just saying. Have to keep remembering the source. Casey lies.
