Hi Monkeys!  I'm not much of a talker, mostly a listener and I've been listening to you monkeys for a long time now!  Just thought that I would finally jump and and say a few words...I just got back from visiting relatives down in Oviedo and Fort Myers...We were very busy and had no time to look around the Orlando "hotspots", but just could not get it off of my mind just knowing that I was so close.  Anyway, my sister lives in Oviedo and she hardly knows anything about this case and I was telling her things that she has never heard about down there.  My in-laws live close to Fort Myers and they don't know much either, but most think that  KC is probably guilty.  So I  guess if you don't watch a lot of NG or read on the internet, then you don't see the full story. I don't think they would have a hard time getting a jury together down there cause so many people are busy and don't even have time to pay attention to the story.  On the other hand, I would not mind if they move the trial up here where I live in Pensacola!  Like I said, I don't usually talk much but wanted to put in my two cents worth since my trip down south.  Thanks for all the info! Keep on talken.

Welcome FloraBama... I'm amazed at how many reports, similar to yours, that I've read.. I would think KC would be the morning talk at every coffee shop in Or-Lawn-Doe... It's good to hear tho..

Again... WELCOME to the cage...  jump right in !

Welcome Flora Bama, I don't talk much either but love to read here.  Been here for several years as a lurker and finally signed up a while ago.  Everyone here is soooooo nice!

I am still bagoogled here.  If the reason for killing Caylee was because she was becoming of age that she could speak of what she saw, then just stop taking her to the places you did not want her to see!  Kids do not remember much of things that do not interest them, and even if Caylee did than who is to say anyone would believe what the child was rambling on about?  Casey is a good enough liar she could surely make something up.  Sorry if I am being difficult in trying to buy this reasoning as motive, but I just do not see it as a fit.

Just from what we've read from Casey's own pov, her motive was pretty simple. Caylee was coming between her and Tony, in her mind. Without Caylee she'd be able to have fun and do what she liked, without worrying about anyone else. And Cindy was using Caylee as an excuse to "control her life." Without Caylee that would stop, too. I don't think she killed Caylee to silence her, but rather that she killed her to be free.
I am with you.  I am honestly think that we have all began to over think this whole ordeal and stear away from the facts of this case.  Granted its fun to run and see where a rumor will take us, but the facts can not be ignored.  I do not believe Casey to be smart enough to be a master mind mistress, nor do I give Lee that much credit as a pimp.  LOL  I do not know, its just making me crazy some of the ideas that can be thought up, no offense to any of the monkeys at all, as its quite possible...I just do not see it myself.
ITA. Casey is too much of a nitwit to even have an actual job or finsh High School - the only thing that she could run was her mouth.

But we must remember that KC didn't kill Caylee b/c of Tony, she was looking up chloroform, neck breaking, shovel back in March. Before she met Tony. I still can't figure out the shovel search? WTH? Why would you do a search for shovel? To make sure you use the "correct" one for digging a grave? It doesn't make sense.

I can not figure out why one would need to google a shovel either...unless she is like me and has never actually used one.  LOL  But still I know which end goes in the ground and which end is the handle, so I am not sure as to what she was doing.  Quite odd!!

Oh yeah, scheduling would have had to been an important thing, if they were taking turns using a place.

And about the kids getting together and discussing what they remembered, what they were gonna say, etc, that's for sure 'collusion'.  However, the prosecution will likely to be able to use it as much as the defense could.  Cuz wasn't it mentioned early on somewhere, by someone, that right after Casey's first arrest Cindy had a few or more of the kids over to their house... to talk.  ???

And the part of what you wrote that I bolded... I've been sitting here trying to figure out just how one goes about "destroying" a spare key.  And then I realized, duh on me, it probably wasn't a metal key at all, it was probably a plastic key, since it does say somewhere that Lee took it out of Casey's WALLET.  And really, with no one else having seen it, that key could have been to anything, with no one to call Lee a liar, since he destroyed it.

Can you please provide the link to the docs stating that Lee took a key from Casey's wallet.  I have missed this information.  All I remember being taken from Casey's wallet was the $200 by Cindy and then another undescribed object from behind Casey's ID taken by a female OCS Officer...but told to detectives by Lee Anthony.

Boy, have my thoughts changed since the beginning of this!  I remember thinking that the lady LE probably took a condom that Casey kept in her billfold the way teenage boys sometimes do.  Hmmm, can we say sheltered and naive...LOL
What really blows my mind is how much evidence these Anthony's were able to get their hands on!! Pants, keys, car trunks, who knows what else? The LE were informed that this was a possible kidnapping or murder from Cindy's 911 call, why the hell didn't they lock all this stuff down? Why allow Cindy to dump the purse and start grabbing at stuff like a damn pinata? Why would they trust the car to stay there even a few hours unattended with the murder suspects family???

Concerning Cindy Anthony being arrested for obstruction of justice--just a reminder that sheriffs are the only duly elected members of law enforcement in the country.  Others are hired or appointed but the local sheriff must win his job by popular vote.'

He is therefore much more responsive, in my opinion, to the desires of his constituents and taxpayers and voters.  You will seldom see a sheriff arrest on non-violent questionable charges.  Considering the shortage of cells available, I don't think it is likely this one or the new one taking office next is likely to arrest a distraught grandmother.  Is she guilty?  Probably but it would be a controversial move as many would view it as harsh, etc.

I live in an area that is also a sheriff's jurisdiction so always say don't forget to support your local sheriff!  Your life may depend on it.

And if every person who obstructed justice or committed perjury were arrested, it would probably more than fill the jails available.

Now the FBI might be another matter but also doubt they will take action in this regard either for the reason of PR and being seem as unnecessarily cruel to a grandmother.  People not familiar with the details would most likely tend to view this as excessive because regardless of her behavior, Cindy is still the grandmother of the missing child and that alone will garner her some sympathy.

JMO on that possibility.

Always 1 - I just wanted to mention that I liked your possible theory about the 10 keys and the "flop house"...maybe KC was getting ready to begin her new career as a madam...she got her training by managing the shot girls at Fusian...lord knows she has experience in the "back of the house" so to speak...and escort service searches were found on her computer....I can totally see her doing this type of work...anyone?

Thank you.  I know we have them here.  They get "set up" at the nicest hotels.  The girl gets a room furnished by the hotel, then they send the "johns" to her.
Here? Where are you Always?

Hmmm.. inquiring minds would like to know.. how does Always know this stuff?  Eh?  *giggles*

Actually, my deceased sister in law (when I was married) was one.  She got on herion when she was 17 years old and did it to support her habit.  She died last year on the floor of her parents home.  One of the most beautiful girls I have ever met, you should have seen her at the end........

Oh wow, that is sad!     I'm so sorry...

Ok waite I have a new thought on that all together....
What if she knew she would be using a shovel from the home and needed to replace it with an identical one due to the possibility of the other shovel getting tainted or ruined in some sort of fashion.  If she was planning then that would make some sense...she wanted to be sure that her good old dad George would not be able to tell the difference if his shovel had to be replaced........?????????

heh .. we all would probably have a different definition of blue, if I said the sky is blue today. LOL

To each his own opinion. I really believe that "porno" pic is Casey. JMO.

I think it's probably Casey too.  It really doesn't matter what we think, it either is or isn't and Caylee still hasn't been found.
You know I have to agree after seeing the collage of pictures it honestly doesn't matter it's Caylee and where is she..the thought of her being alone somewhere it's unbearable at times

OK, running with this. She could have grabbed Dad's shovel and left it out in the woods (remember Red's picture of the brand new shovel?) and she knew what it looked like and wanted to replace it with an exact match.

A shovel can be used much like a machete as a cutting tool as well as a digging one.  Some have fairly sharp edges.  They can also be swung like a bat for hitting as well as decapitation, etc.  Was not this person untested in household items that could be used to kill?

A weapon as well as a tool for digging.

IIRC it was the Thomas Franck from Universal Events that was the fake one ...
I thought I read that there were several emails, all which were "work related".  If this is a "true" email than that is proof that Casey had a job.......???

I had not heard that this one was proven to be a fake ... I am assuming it might have been a "play job" (volunteer to look like a big shot at Fusians) I could be wrong .... She had just met Tony & crew so I would assume she just started hanging out w/this crowd ...
Interesting.  I will go and double check myself on the fake emails.  I was under the impression that LE stated that Casey had created numerous fake emails over a span of time as a way of proving to Cindy and George that she had a job.  This email posted on the thread mentions a Juliet, I thought this person did not in fact exist.
IIRC the email from this Cheryl person was dated in May, so she hadn't even met Tony L yet. I think it is fake too Dolce

Maybe she didn't want to leave evidence on the family shovel?  And thought no one would know she borrowed one?

I always go for the most direct/KISS explanation, however.

See, I'm thinking totally different than this.  I think it took a high level of intelligence to keep all the balls in the air.  Look how many different stories she was running at the same time.  She seems very creative and most probably would have made a great writer.  Her plots are mesmerizing.  It is almost impossible to predict the final outcome in her plots.  In my opinion, she worked much harder at not working than I ever have at working!  Regardless of how immoral we think lying is (and make no mistake, I hate it!), to be as accomplished as she is probably requires at least an average IQ if not higher.  From the sounds of the texts and such, she appeared to have no difficulty making girlfriends, casting a spell over guys, or even socializing with grace with their parents.  She appeared to be so extroverted and friendly that all of these friends, both old and new, felt close to her.  I think that is why they feel so betrayed by her.  They are now questioning their own ability to recognize the difference in good and evil.  I honestly think they all did think she was a good mother...because that's the role she portrayed to them.  I think Casey will turn out to be of high intelligence like Ted Bundy but that's just my opinion.
