I am just suprised Casey had any friends at all.  Most people I know really dislike liars, especially smug ones!!  I wonder if they even knew how much she lied! 

People LOVE liars--as long as they don't know the person's a liar. They love love love sociopaths even more. What they don't like, are "victims." And they hate the person who tries to point out that the sociopath is mean or has hurt others. The sociopath is usually going, "woooo! let's party!" and everyone likes that. In any fight between a sociopath and another person, you will find most people lined up supporting the sociopath, because s/he's confident and smiling, and never introspects or brings them down. 

Sociopaths inspire crazy loyalty. Look at dictators--a lot of them are sociopaths. Sociopaths never feel guilty or depressed. They never doubt themselves, never question themselves, and so the people around them don't doubt or question them, either.  People will do anything for a sociopath, and then they're shocked when the sociopath turns around and screws them over.

This is VERY true!  A lot of those who turn out to be the victims of a sociopath may not want to admit it, likely being chagrined that they were taken in so easily.  Especially those who defended the sociopath to the limit, before having seen what that person truly is like.  Sociopaths are SO damn good at being SO convincing!

   " People are looking.  I had a strange thing happen when I was shopping with my grandda"ughter here in Houston.  A lady kept following us and peeking through racks at her.  I actually kept my hand on the babie's leg  when I reached for something.  Finally the lady said, "I just have to see this baby!"  I said "say hi Hailey!"  She said "OH! she looked like someone."  I said "who?"  She said "Caylee! and turned and walked off"  My grandbaby just turned 20 months and has huge brown eyes and light hair. It scared me how she followed us though! "

That is creepy. My 23 month old gd is in Orlando. ( Disney World )  She doesn't look anything like Caylee. Probably because she isn't related to the A family. 
How could a normal person make an ass of themselves like that ? Does a person have to carry the baby's id with them ? A verbal description of Caylee with her age and weight would fit 1/2 of the girls in any given daycare. Is it the reward that is making ppl behave like that ?

Good morning!  It was waaaay creepy.  Creepy enough to keep my hand on the baby if I reached for something.  Most little baby girls have the same chubby cheeks and looks.  In a way it offended me that the lady thought I could be a bad guy but then I guess it made me feel good that people do pay attention and look for missing children.  I don't know if it is the reward or what but if that lady would have followed me peeking through racks much more, I would have gotten security. 

That really scares me. I think people aren't using their heads. Caylee would not look like a 2-year-old, or a kid who's less than 2. But people see a couple of pictures of a baby and go looking for a baby. They hear everyone referring to her as a baby and assume it's literally the truth.

If they really wanted to find a LIVE Caylee, they would put out pictures with age progression on them. She turned 3 in August. She'd be almost 3 and a half now! It's December! And it's kind of scary that anyone interested enough to look for Caylee, wouldn't know about the DNA evidence.

State Not Seeking Death Penalty For Casey Anthony
Friday, December 5, 2008 – updated: 4:32 pm EST December 5, 2008

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- The State Attorney's Office announced late Friday that they will not be seeking the death penalty for murder charges 22-year-old Casey Anthony is facing in the death of her daughter.

In a release about the decision, the State Attorney's Office wrote: "This afternoon, after consideration of the law and unique facts applicable to the above case, the State filed its notice that it is not in the best interest of the people of the State of Florida to pursue the death penalty as a potential sentence. Therefore, the State of Florida will not be seeking the death penalty against defendant Casey Anthony."

Casey is facing several charges in connection with the disappearance and suspected murder of her daughter, Caylee. The charges include first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse, aggravated manslaughter and providing false information to a law enforcement officer.


CASEY'S ATTORNEY SOUGHT JUSTIFICATION


Earlier Friday, before the State Attorney's Office announcement, Casey Anthony's defense attorney, Jose Baez, said he wanted the legal justification for a possible death sentence in his client's case.

Since prosecutors have not ruled out the death penalty, Baez said he thought it was only fair to have time to prepare to fight it. It appeared to be an indication the defense thought a first-degree murder conviction was possible, though that turned out not to be the case.

Meanwhile, prosecutors have added to their witness list. There are now 144 people on it.

I'm wondering if her old friends are secretly standing behind her?  Not Amy, but the one like Annie and Sean, etc.  I know Annie is testifying for the prosecution, but it could be forced.  She also helped the Anthony's out after Casey was arrested by doing the t-shirts and flyers.

Actually, I'm not really bothered that they aren't going to seek the death penalty for Casey. Let's face it - we're all going to die one day, so how is that punishment? To me, punishment for her is knowing she's going to be shut up in prison for years and years, possibly even the entire rest of her life. Can you imagine how that will be for her? And it's got to be especially hard on someone who has been as spoiled as Casey has been. IMO

Do you think she was ever in fear she'd be put to death?    Why should she give a sh(t about getting life, if she gets it?   Seems to me there is no reason for her to tell a soul what really happened to Caylee. Even if she's put away for a very long time.
