If Strickland is the residing judge ... I have a feeling that Jose Baez is going to receive a favorable ruling on his motions in the hearing that is currently taking place.

Strickland has ruled favorable for the defence on almost every motion since way back ... since Casey Anthony was afforded the priviledge of spending six hours a day in the Baez's office while under home confinement.

Search Of Anthony House Ends, Evidence Removed

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Investigators said they concluded their search of the Anthony home Friday morning after serving a search warrant Thursday night and removing several items. The search came after a child's remains were found near their house Thursday morning.

Investigators overnight pulled several boxes and bags of evidence from the Anthony family home (watch raw video). The conclusion of the search means the Anthonys could now return home, but it was unclear if or when that would happen.

Friday morning, Sheriff Kevin Beary appeared on Good Morning America to discuss Thursday's findings (watch Beary on GMA).

"I know you can't go into detail, but there was something that was found that made you want to search the grandparents' home?" GMA's Robin Roberts asked Beary.

"Absolutely," Beary said.

Beary said investigators searched the home early Friday after the medical examiner found "some clues that came out of the remains" that "linked it to the house." He would not say what clues were found.

"We took some things out of the house that the forensic people are very interested in," he said.

Beary said his investigators and the FBI would work around the clock and through the weekend to identify the child.

Asked if he believed if the remains are Caylee, Beary said: "I think it's a good possibility, but I have to wait seven to 14 days for the DNA analysis."

There are no other similar missing-child cases in the area.

"I say my prayers every day and one of them is to solve this case," said Beary, who is retiring in January. "I just hope that we solve the case on my watch."

Friday morning, deputies, the medical examiner, crime scene investigators and Tim Miller of EquuSearch, who had looked for Caylee Anthony previously, began combing through the wooded area where the remains were discovered, in search of more evidence.

Investigators, Friday morning, were cutting through brush and tree limbs near the scene of the remains discovery looking for fibers and hair. Blue tents were erected and a white sheet was laid out near the search area, likely for investigators to place potential evidence once discovered.

On Thursday night, Eyewitness News was at the Anthonys' home in Orange County as deputies spent hours inside processing the scene. Investigators removed at least two vacuum cleaners, notebooks and papers from the house on Hopespring Drive.

Neighbors said that, after Thursday's gruesome discovery of a child's remains nearby, they expected the crowds, but they don't believe there will be any protesting.

"I think it's going to be different, like showing their support for the family and everything," said neighbor Joyce Dickens.

Meanwhile, Casey's attorney, Jose Baez, filed an emergency motion (read motion) Thursday, because he wants to be present for any forensics testing on the remains. The court hearing to discuss the motion will be held at 11:30am Friday (Hearing will be shown live on WFTV.com).

ok, I am for real going to hop on a plane and go to Hopespring Drive and bitch slap these people in the background of the news videos talking on their cell phones and smiling like "can you see me on TV?" Well, now your buddy can see you getting slapped by me. And while I'm there I will kick the "Kabbalah Bowls" dude's azz and break his white sunnglasses in half while he sobs. Then I will go to the jail and give Casey another panic attack. Then I will promptly be arrested and y'all can read about me. Phew. I feel better now. Must get to that anger management class.

I was very unhappy with Greta's questioning of LP last night.  I can definitely understand anyone that had been involved in this case feeling the "need" to come back to Orlando to put some closure to this case.  My best friends hubby is a retired detective and he says the worst thing in the world is working a homicide case when a child is involved.  He says those are the cases that make LE stay awake at night, as most of them have children of their own and can closely relate.  LP was the one person, despite some of his personality flaws, that was willing to keep searching for Caylee.  I just thought Greta was a real bitch last night when questioning his motives about coming back to Orlando.  Personally, I don't think Greta has been the same since SP lost the election...lol!

ITA Ann, IMO LP was very moved by this case, probably more so than he originally bargained for!

I'm in agreement with both of you...I felt very sad for LP last night.  I thought he looked and sounded disturbed by the day's events.  I know he inserted himself into this case, but I think he came to love Caylee and wanted justice for her.  I was glad to see Tim Miller looking and sounding better than in the past...but LP worried me.
