Duct tape, around the skull, meant to keep caylee quiet.

I would think Caylee would have been able to rip the tape of herself...unless her hand were tied. Hate, hate, hate to think that, but nothing else makes sense.

(Posted this 2 times already LOL)

I have a theory about how the duct tape and chlorofrom tie together and I think I could be dead on with this theory. And this could also explain you thinking that Caylee could have pulled it off. She wouldn't have been able do that if she died while being drugged.

I am thinking that Casey chloroformed Caylee and then put the ductape around her mouth to prevent people from hearing Caylee from screaming/crying when she came out of the drugged chloroformed state. Caylee probably overdosed and suffocated from both things and when Casey came back to the trunk to check on Caylee she found her dead

That is a very good possibility, but I also feel she did the tape to perhaps look like an abduction, if her body was found.

That is true that she could have been using it to make them think Caylee was kidnapped.

Sheriff: Evidence Links Remains Of Child To Caylee Anthony Home
Missing Caylee Last Seen In Mid-June

POSTED: 6:36 am EST December 12, 2008
UPDATED: 12:37 pm EST December 12, 2008

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A medical examiner found evidence among a child's remains that link them to the home of Caylee Anthony's grandparents, the county sheriff said Friday, offering the strongest indication yet that the remains may be those of the missing 3-year-old girl.

Orange County Sheriff Kevin Beary said investigators searched the home late Thursday night into early Friday morning after the medical examiner found "some clues that came out of the remains" that "linked it to the house." He would not say what clues were found.

"We took some things out of the house that the forensic people are very interested in," he said.

The remains were found Thursday by a utility worker on a wooded lot less than a half-mile from the house where Caylee lived with her grandparents and her mother, Casey Anthony.

Casey Anthony, 22, was charged in October with first-degree murder, even though the toddler's body has not yet been found. She has insisted that she left the girl with a baby sitter in June, but she didn't report Caylee missing until July.

Beary said his investigators and the FBI would work around the clock and through the weekend to identify the child.

Asked if he believed if the remains are Caylee, Beary said: "I think it's a good possibility, but I have to wait seven to 14 days for the DNA analysis."

There are no other missing-child cases in the area.

"I say my prayers every day and one of them is to solve this case," said Beary, who is retiring in January. "I just hope that we solve the case on my watch."

It's just a clearer look into Crazy's head because most children or family members killed by a relative tend to place a body with a favorite article and cover the face, taking great care with the body
Crazy duct taped her, placed her in a trash bag and dumped her..skank
It was a very depersonalized way to dispose of a loved one, especially her child.. makes me wonder how much of the horror Crazy may have blocked out..skank
Even Andrea Yates took her dead babies and placed them in the bed and covered them with sheets or blankets
I worked as a psych nurse for the second half of my career and these types of people are fascinating and usually follow certain patterns. Casey isn't insane but she is certainly swimming in pathology and directly tied to her mother with it. She is an amazing case study..skank

I think you're spot on with this, flamom.  Am thinking it does show Casey's complete disregard for Caylee, and possibly points to the level of 'rage and revenge' toward her parents that she may have been feeling.  I can see the prosecution having a field day with just the info on how Caylee's body was 'disposed' of.

I don't know if this has been said as I was just able to get on here for a few minutes.
I think the fact that they hired the high profile like overnight is very telling.  Also, the fact that GA and CA got another defense attorney is also very telling in my opinion.
Of course this is all just my opinion.
Yes I thought it was interesting that all of a sudden you hear the A's had another attorney.
Jose knows that is Caylee. That is why he ran to the jail. That is why Casey had to be sedated. That is why he got the new attorney to be co-counsel. So I do agree with you.

I agree. IF Caylee really was "gagged" -- I believe Casey would try to "hide" that fact. She would have removed the duct tape before disposal. I think sghe was trying to "stage" an abduction.

JB better be working a plea deal at this point. He better do it fast before more information comes out.

Has anyone seen Lee today?

What reason was given for Mallory going to the home?

Tia.

Lee was in court this morning.  Also, one of the news stations saw him at his home.

The neighbors have reported that Mallory is house sitting and goes to the house the same time every day to feed and care for dogs.

Thank you Today.  Well at least we know Mallory is still in the picture.
And very pregnant.

IMHO not very pregnant.

Yeah I agree--she doesn't look pregnant at all--she's skinny and even with the baggy shirt on you'd think there'd be a bump but I'm not seeing it

Pregnant or not?

I don't know if Mallory is pregnant or not, yet it does not look as tho she is 'VERY' pregnant.

Agree. Ususally when a criminal tries to stage a crime scene, law enforcement sees through it rather quickly.

If this was indeed staged, you can pretty much rule out an accidental death.
