The evidence and the doc dumps were done as FL laws allow the media to ask for the information and to receive it, unless it is sealed. ( Like her psyche evalution from July ) As much as LE would want to not release to Baez and the media, they have to. And LE don't get to pick and choose what.
.. We have laws here in Canada too and the media goes to court to obtain crime information, but sometimes the docs are not released if the information is part of an on going investigation which would hurt the investigation. Not saying which is better, just there are differences.

The acceptance of porn as mainstream has created many issues with today's youth. See what Playboy thinks was acceptable and then covers their A$$ and apologizes. It doesn't surprise me...As the days of Noah,the world was filled with evil to such an extent God had to intervene.It has become the same way today and  He will soon intervene again and finish it...I love Bible prophecy...

TXLISA, you make a good point.  Casey pulls info out of the air and matches it to her needs of the moment.  She may very well have described Zanny's fictitious accident in light of what happened to Caylee.  The imagery could go on and on.

Her life "crashed" when she killed Caylee.  Caylee's head may have been injured and there might also be an injury behind her ear, as Casey described about Zanny.

Red, there has been an ongoing war on Christmas & has become more pronounced over the past several years. Remember a few years ago when businesses stopped using Merry Christmas opting for Happy Holidays, instead! That made it all the way to my small town & my entire family was furious & openly protested some of the signs. Right now, we all have "WE SAY MERRY CHRISTMAS" bumpers stickers on our cars! I remember very well what Christmas was like when I was a child & it really hasn't been THAT long ago  Those Christmases were so special & have remained so throughout the years. Our Christmas traditions are being carried through the generations.   

Unfortunately, it's not just a war on Christmas, but a war on our dominant culture, all the things that our law and culture are based on, our Judeo-Christian heritage. When conservatives ceded our schools to the socialist teachers' unions, we've allowed our children to be brought up with no morals, no values, except for what parents teach in the home. And face it, many parents have never had the structure to pass on to their children, so now there is no one to teach them right from wrong. The situation becomes worse with each successive generation as more and more are amoral. Our jails are filled to capacity with criminals who have been taught that there are no rules except the ones they choose, or don't choose, to abide by. They are simply "housed" and most are convinced that they are being unfairly punished for being unfortunate enough to be caught by "the man" (the evil dominant culture of those dead white guys who founded this unfair country.)

Russ, I have thought about that remark by Baez many times.  What could make anyone understand a mother who does not report her child as missing for 31 days?  It is hard to imagine anything that would do that. 

But if he uses the abuse excuse, that Casey was molested, that her mom was domineering and threatening to take Caylee away, that she is bi-polor and cannot deal with reality, etc., some jurors may at least give her some sympathy.

I know that she felt trapped under Cindy's thumb and that she saw no way out.  Casey was "desperate" to get away from Cindy, imo, and she did not want Cindy to have the child. 

It may have been as simple as a pyschological tug-of-war or as complex as two people having mental and emotional instabilities, but something was very wrong in that relationship between Cindy and Casey and it cannot be sugarcoated.

Casey had alot of opportunities in life. She didn't have any obstacles to overcome like many girls her age. She could have left home if things were too much for her. She could have married Jesse, but oh wait, she messed around with someone else and blew that chance. She and Jesse, according to Richard Grund had another go at it in Novemeber 2007.  Didn't work, same reasons.
She just doesn't have any regard for anyone else. She lives in the moment and the hell with the consequences.

There just has to be a reason that Cindy and Casey both wanted the real father's identity kept so secret.  I think that Cindy lied about that under oath at the hearing when she said she always thought it was Jesse Grund and later that Casey showed her an obit but she forgot the name of the father who died in a car crash.  Cindy would not forget that.

This case has shown us that in spite of her calls for Casey to "look at the camera so I can see your eyes," Cindy sometimes does not want to know the truth.  In fact, she will go to extraordinary lengths to avoid the truth even when she strongly suspects what it is. 

Maybe Cindy wonders if Lee is the father but does not want to know.  Why else would the denials not be coming from her and Casey and Lee?  I have heard of no denials at all about the fatherhood rumors.

I had an encounter on a chat session and someone that people seemed to believe was Cindy was posting.  Apparently she posted occasionally and was posting at that time.  I asked her the question and she called my a sick stupid child.  I asked her if she could at least answer the question and she refused.  That is the day I really got interested in that angle.

I was certain she was Cindy because she said some things she later said in a brief interview with reporters too.

There has never been a question posed and there has been no refutation whatsoever.

A concussion IIRC.  She was rushed to the hospital for head trama, but turned out minor concussion.

Don't forget the cut behind the ear that they missed which required stitches and more time in the hospital.

Whether any of it is true or not, incest is no excuse for homicide as far as the law is concerned. Might be a mitigating circumstance in sentencing, but such an allegation is probably not admissible as evidence in her trial.
