One bright spot today- I had to chuckle when JB said that Casey was "struggling' with the news of the find-   YEAH,  now she has to lie awake and concoct a whole other story....a that's the only struggle she will have.

I heard she turned red, not ashen, not white, but red when she was given the news on the find.  I have blushed occasionally over the years but generally from embarrassment or anger, and embarrassment or anger only.  I have never been given bad news about those near and dear to me and turned red.  I think she is immature and merely embarrassed because she has been coddled into believing that everyone around her believes her litany of lies. 

didn't the dramactic description of how she reacted come from Gerlado? I think it did...which in turn means it came from JB...which in turn means it's BULLCRAP

For those that want to listen to Dateline but won't be able to at home or you don't have an access for TV, I am going to be streaming it in my chatroom. This is all you do:

I feel like if the father of Caylee comes from the family, this person would be George. It would be just like Casey to lie and say Lee tried to sexually abuse her when it was really her father, because she always tells lies that are concocted from truths. There is also video of Cindy Anthony telling the FBI about something she said to George like (talking about a Caylee sighting): "If you knew that was really Caylee, you would do what any father -- I mean, grandfather -- would do, call 911." She slipped up and called him the "father." I thought that was weird, and it stuck with me. Also, isn't it odd that GEORGE (not Lee) would move out and divorce would be proposed at the moment when they find out Jesse is not the father?

But she wasn't close to George.. she was close to Lee, supposedly. Why blame Lee for something George did? Why throw her brother under the bus like that, if it's somebody else altogether?

I think because Casey was a single mom, George took on many roles here...  grandfather of course, but also father. I can see how this would have been possible, had Casey allowed it to happen.  (My sister was a young, single mother. My nephew didn't have a dad around to teach him certain things.. my dad did that.  He took on the role of dad and grandpa).

I saw that too and it has occured to me that if that area where the remains were found was under "Three feet of water" then the homes in the area would have been flooded too.  They were not and I personally question whether or not the site of the remains was flooded at all.  I think it was just missed and now people are making excuses for it not having been searched.  Period. OK, that's my opinion and I hope I am allowed to express it.

[b I disagree,  here wher I live in florida, there is standing water right now across the road and on the other side of my house but my house does not have any water standing around it......Florida has alot of swampy area's and they are lower than some of the land right next to it......I believe exactly what Tim said , it was too wet to search and the neighbors also agreed and they live right across the street from this area...

I can't completely verify this, but I was under the understanding that Lee moved out sometime during that timeframe as well.  It was Cindy and CAsey with Caylee in the house until George later moved back in.  Lee did not come around the house when George was there.  Lee later got evicted from an apartment from what I can infer.  He has a roommate now. 

I think Lee has problems paying bills anyway, as I think his car has been repossessed.

I saw that too..so, I went back and checked some things.  Tropical Storm Faye hit Orlando on August 15, 2008...TES first search was over the weekend of August 31, 2008....IMO, that area probably was under water when TES came for the first search.  I think that reporter has her facts mixed up.

On August 31, the National Hurricane Center (NHC) predicted with 81% probability that Gustav would remain at Category 3 or above on September 1, but on September 1 at 9:30 a.m. CDT (1430 UTC) the center of Gustav made landfall in the United States





ALSO, Gustav hit Florida that weekend, I'm not sure how it effected Orlando, but we had to board up our windows in P-Cola Beach. The wind was horrific here.

Since LE removed all laptops and computers in the early days of the investigation, I think the laptop that they removed this time must be for things that were on there after Casey's arrest. Perhaps pertaining to charges of obstruction of justice for George and Cindy? Does anyone know if anything more was heard about the so called "Hacking" of Cindy's emails? I still think she was trying to lay the groundwork for some silly scheme to help Casey's defense.
