SHERIFF APPEARS ON GOOD MORNING AMERICA

Friday morning, Sheriff Kevin Beary appeared on Good Morning America to discuss Thursday's findings (watch Beary on GMA).

"I know you can't go into detail, but there was something that was found that made you want to search the grandparents' home?" GMA's Robin Roberts asked Beary.

"Absolutely," Beary said.

Beary said investigators searched the home early Friday after the medical examiner found "some clues that came out of the remains" that "linked it to the house." He would not say what clues were found.

"We took some things out of the house that the forensic people are very interested in," he said.

Beary said his investigators and the FBI would work around the clock and through the weekend to identify the child.

Asked if he believed if the remains are Caylee, Beary said: "I think it's a good possibility, but I have to wait seven to 14 days for the DNA analysis."

There are no other similar missing-child cases in the area.

"I say my prayers every day and one of them is to solve this case," said Beary, who is retiring in January. "I just hope that we solve the case on my watch."

I really wonder how there could still be duct tape on her mouth still, if flesh is gone,  unless there was enough preservation of skin under the conditions, but I guess we'll find out eventually.  Maybe I'll look around and do a little research,, unless somebody finds it before me, which is usually the case.

I was saving pictures of Caylee for a video that I want to make in dedication to her and came across one where she has really dark circles around her eyes. If you are being drugged could it cause that?

So how will the Anthony's private investigator, Dominic Casey, explain all his "leads"?  According to George, Dominic was only a few steps behind the kidnappers for the past 5 months.  Wonder if Dominic is still employed by the Anthonys?

Nah, not an ax, I think it looks more like a paint stirrrrer, or a piece of quarter round or something.  Stirrer????  I think I just tripped over a butthen!!!!!

I hope you are right.  Someone else thought it looked like trim molding.

I posted about the "stick", saying i thought it looked liked trim molding. I was thinking that if LE took trim molding into evidence they may have been looking for fluids that seeped under the molding (a very hard place to clean). I also thought this fit in with a post that indicated carpeting was taken into evidence.

Other Monkeys posted that they did not see a "stick" at all, or that they saw the "stick" as some other object. The entire discussion was mainly because we couldn't agree what was actually in the picture(s).

I'm sure there is a lot more important evidence. This just caught my eye because it was something i could see in the otherwise bagged evidence. What i really want is to see inside all the evidence bags and that isn't going to happen, so I'm stuck with sticks

In spite of the opinions that Caylee was unfindable, I believed she would be found when the time was right.  I was astounded when Geraldo (good buddy of Baez) said that the discovery of Caylee's remains took the great deal KC was being offered off the table. SAY WHAT???????   no wonder she needs sedatives.

Yes, I heard that too and he's ALWAYS proven wrong in the long run.  He's one of those "know it all's"  Wonder why his talk show failed...

I think I heard on one of the videos, maybe it was Dr. Baden on NG that there WAS some soft tissue left. It's hard to keep it all straight

OMFG!!!!! I almost in tears after reading this. I was looking up the symptems of chlorofrom and came across this. It fits with the way Caylee has looked in pictures.

1. Acute exposure: Inhalation of chloroform causes signs and symptoms of central nervous system depression. In the initial stages, there is a feeling of warmth of the face and body, then irritation of the mucous membranes, eyes, and skin, followed by excitation, loss of reflexes, sensation, and consciousness. The pupils dilate and have a reduced reaction to light. Prolonged inhalation causes paralysis, cardiac and respiratory failure, and death [Sax and Lewis 1989; Genium 1992]. Other symptoms may include digestive upset, mental dullness, and dizziness [Sittig 1991]. Chloroform vapors may irritate the eyes and skin. Chloroform liquid causes burning of the eye and transient corneal injury. Skin exposure results in burning and redness [NLM 1995]. These may include depression, liver enlargement, and gastrointestinal disorders [Sittig 1991]. Chronic skin exposure to chloroform may leave the skin red, dry, and cracking [Genium 1992].

The stick looks to me to be molding that you use in a motor home or trailer to cover the seams. Also used on the front of bookcases et al where they cover up the edges of the shelves.

Maybe she used it to stir the mixtire of chloroform with the bleach.

At first I thought it was cane but it is too flat and to curved around the edges.

It could but it could also be allergies or simply a cold.  Kids with allergies often have what are called allergic shiners, my son used to have them.

I was more worried about her fingers and how pink her hands and fingers were.  I was wondering if she might have had some kind of breathing problem or circulatory problem maybe brought on by drugging.
