Casey was hoping the body would not be found before the trial and she would be acquitted or at least get a short sentence.  They could not try her again for the same crime.  But the body is now found.  Since that area might have been developed soon, the body could have been rolled over and crushed by a big earth moving machine or even buried under fill dirt.  It might have gone unfound for a long time or maybe forever if houses had been built over it.  I like to think that Providence intervened.

I think she was confident that it never would be found.

I keep seeing her high-five Lee in my mind.

The tide has turned.

I can not imagine going out to a fancy dinner when my granddaughter is laying in a morgue. I know when we lost Glen I did not eat for a month.  I am sure that some "supporter" paid for dinner and the hotel. I am sure there are people out there that still feel sorry for the Anthonys. The only one I feel sorry for is Caylee and her father's family - pity that they never got to know her or have a chance to protect her.

If it were my grandchild's body found I would not be in a public anything..I would be grieving. I think this shows the A's knew all along that Caylee was dead and they did their grieving in private like the times Cindy said she went to Caylee's room, sat there and cried some times.

My dad died unexpectedly over 20 years ago..fell out of his chair with a heart attack. I can remember I was so much in shock I didnt' even drink water for 2 days much less eat. These people have known she was dead.

How in the world can the defense afford these experts..Kathy Reichs!! Lee! Kobi!!! These guys do not come cheap so who is paying them?
IMO they are all in it for the publicity.  Linda Kenney Baden & Dr. Baden lost a lot of respect in my eyes during the Spector trial.

They also did with me too along with Henry Lee
I wonder if they can bring up at trial that Henry Lee picked of evidence (finger nail) and didn't turn it in as evidence.
His previous "missteps" were brought up before Fidler during Spector ... IMO that's why he didn't testify.  It may not be brought in "at trial" - but I bet it's brought up before the judge prior to being allowed to put him on the stand.

I heard on FOX last night that the area she "dumped" Caylee's body in was actually zoned for development of a subdivision.  That bag would have been found eventually.  I've heard the Baez and the Anthony's say over and over how "intelligent" KC is ... and I always thunk to myself ... that gurl ain't two smart!

Actually Casey was a scatterbrain who did not think 5 minutes ahead.

Also, being a subdivison it is more likely that heavy equipmwnt like bulldozers, loaders and logging equipment would have come in first and landfill would have been brought in by dump trucks. That would have taken place first. And with that, the plastic bag would have been buried forever.

Cin and George could have gotten peace and quiet at a Motel 6.

I was thinking the same thing.
However, if they did do that, many would say they were somehow complicit in the death of Caylee.

So, they went home to appear they have nothing to hide.

Creepy.
They could have spent the night with family or friends if they hadn't coddled Casey all her life.

How would your neighbor cope? Your best friend, sister, brother, co-worker?  Hard question

On Foxnews earlier when the group was talking with Baden,it was mentioned that the evidence pretty much secures the notion that Casey acted alone...I just don't see where the A's could go now except to a funeral parlor and plan for Caylee's service..
They do have to, don't they, I mean it is the law right???  But if they don't have funds, the state will provide a paupers funeral, right????

There is still a Trust. Part of the Trust document was designated to cover a funeral. Jody Parker is in charge of it.  Jody is Mallory's mother.  The same Mallory that is Lee's girlfriend.

Where is info about this Trust document? Does this mean that Mallory's family set up a trust fund for the Anthony's?  Help!

It's out there.  You need to go back to when the old Trust was closed because of complaints.  To refresh your memory, NeJame provided an accounting of the old Trust, which left some unanswered questions. Then the new Trust was established. The last time I checked the current Trust infomation was on the Caylee website.  You will need to Google to find the Trust documents, I don't have them handy.

Okay ~ good point.  I was thinking they would be digging first and that she would have been found.  But you are right.  That probably wouldn't have been the case.

I read your post, OriginalKat, and for some reason it made me think of the recent Jennifer Hudson case.  Jennifer lost her mother, brother, AND nephew...but we haven't heard a single word from her or seen her.  This is how normal people grieve..they are in shock...they don't go on talk shows, nightly.  Shame on the Anthonys!

OH MY GOD....

NATISHA LANCE JUST SAID ANTHONYS HAVE MIXED EMOTIONS ON THE FINDINGS. THEY ARE NOT SAYING ONE WAY OR ANOTHER WHAT THEY THINK UNTIL THEY KNOW FOR THE FINDINGS. THEY ARE CALLING THEIR FINDINGS CREDIBLE.

I am telling you guys that these people are not going to believe its Caylee even if the results come in that its her. I think its going to be the poilice force giving this baby a funeral and not her family.

They should be taken to Caylee's remains so they can see what kind of daughter they raised...Show them a few pictures,etc...They better do something soon because they may be locked up shortly..

I keep thinking back to the searches that Tim Miller and TES did and I get angry!  The money and time that TES spent looking for this child and Casey had the answer.   God Bless Tim Miller for what he had to put up with.  I'm sure this is the first (and hopefully the last) time he encountered such a horrible family.

Lisa
I was over at WS looking for an answer about the lady who took the garbage, and started to read a thread started by someone who has very close ties to Tim Miller. Evidently when Casey was given the news yesterday, her face turned red, she crumbled to her knees and said,"Oh God, this can't be happening." Yes Casey it is happening.

And MOMMY DEAREST wasn't there to fix it for you SKANK!!   ROT B!TCH!!

So if my thoughts are in the ballpark of what happened (Caylee died in the room the night of the fight), Casey could have wrapped her up in the bedding and disposed of her.. why naked and wrapped up with bedding, though? Surely the clothes would have been easy enough to replace, just like the bedding may have been    There's a bathroom right off Casey's room, right? Perhaps Casey was giving Caylee a bath, and drowned her? So she would have been naked anyway? And you know.. if cadaver dogs hit by the pool, could it have been because at some point, Casey wanted to make it seem like it was an accidental drowning, to explain why fluid was in the lungs?

thinkin' out loud.. not making much sense..

perhaps you are on to something here, maybe caylee (who wasn't fully potty trained) had an "accident" at a really bad time for the Slore to have to deal with it,or clean her up, perhaps that explains the clothing missing. I do not want to think about how anger from Slore over the fight with Spindy could have caused Caylee's death, but it is common for parents to do terribly mean things to kids out of anger over "accidents" or as punishment.

Channel 13 news (listening live)... http://www.cfnews13.com/Services/ListenLive/Default.aspx

Anthonys left side door about 15 minutes ago..  Cindy carried one of the dogs, George carrying another. Black SUV pulled up, men escorted the two of them into the waiting SUV. Men were carrying the luggage.  They did not answer any questions.

(Another night at the Ritz?  )

I was concerned about the dogs.
