I haven't figured out the mechanics of the inset quote boxes yet. I'm replying to several posts at once... And I'm quite receptive to anyone who has a Monkey Posting Primer they would like to share

The bone in the throat that is often broken in strangulation victims is called the 'hyoid' bone. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyoid_bone
It may not be relevant to to this case because "Due to its position, the hyoid bone is not usually easy to fracture in most situations. In cases of suspicious death, a fractured hyoid is a strong sign of strangulation. However this is not the case in adolescents due to the fact that it is still flexible."

The picture of the "wooden stick" thingy in the evidence bag appears to me to be corner molding. It's right-angle-shaped trim molding that is used to finish corners and edges. It's extremely difficult to clean behind/under molding. Blood or fluids that had seeped behind molding would still be available as evidence. I think this fits with carpeting being being removed from the house.

A post yesterday suggested that during high traffic events avatars slow the system down. Admins? Is that correct? Since i got kicked out of the cage several times yesterday and today, I'm curious about ways to NOT overload the cage.

HI! OK, Page one of the quote primer:

Every Time I read or hear about the Duct tape and Caylee .........OMG

My Brain Melts and Heart tears
I can't think any ONE Juror to find Any Compassion at all for CASEY not for a Moment.
How Malicious and Heinous for any living object to be treated this way .... And then to do it to your own defenseless BABY.

THIS is PERSONAL - the way Caylee was Treated. This was NO Accident.

Has anyone Heard anything about WHEN or IF Casey will be Put into General Population within the Women's Correctional Facility ???

Sounds like we're going to have to split up into "Redbirds" and "Bluebirds" to catch all the coverage tonight!
Okay, new monkey in the cage ... what are "Redbirds" and "Bluebirds"  is that like liberals and conservatives?

Newfie - when you were in first grade, did your teacher never break up the class into the Redbird and Bluebird reading groups? I guess you must not be old enough to have experienced that, along with Dick and Jane and See Spot Run.

OK, I'm going to quit posting if it defines my age!

That's supposed to be threat.

Dick, Jane, Ted, and Sally taught me how to read.

Ted???

Mother, Father, Dick, Jane, Baby (Sally), Spot and Puff was where it was at.

... and Mrs. McKinnon was my Grade one teacher and ... her husband the fireman came to our class and taught us to drop and crawl.

Janet
Just an FYI - my friend who is a fireman now plays Mike the Match for Elementary Schools - and it's now "Stop, Drop, and Roll!"  No Crawling!

I am not surprised ... where you consider you are from Newfoundland ... the rules could differ.

Twelve years ago ... after flying to Toronto ... hubby, youngest son and I drove across eastern Canada.  Following that horrid ferry ride to Newfoundland ... we travelled the Viking trail.  The scenery was magnificent.

I knew Cindy and George were going to be on LK tonight, what I didn't know was they signed a deal with LK for exclusive rights to their initial reaction to the news of remains being found.

Cin and George could have gotten peace and quiet at a Motel 6.

I was thinking the same thing.
However, if they did do that, many would say they were somehow complicit in the death of Caylee.

So, they went home to appear they have nothing to hide.

Creepy.
They could have spent the night with family or friends if they hadn't coddled Casey all her life.

Somehow I doubt it. Not one extended family member has shown any concern for Caylee all this time. Nobody tried to help Cindy, when she was supporting the family with no help from George, and Casey turned up pregnant, either. I would venture a guess that they wouldn't want to be around "family and friends" right now anyway.

People are going to say they're complicit in the death of Caylee anyway. They went home because it's their home, and they can't afford to live at hotels all their lives.

Cindy's side of the family all know KC did it. That is evident in Rick's (Sins bro) emails and the emails from her mother. I wonder about G's family  ???

Not bad! You can hit the "Preview" button instead of the "post" button to see how it's going to look before you post it.  You're fine and the only way to learn is to do it. You're doing just great!

The place was so disorganized they couldn't stay???

Jeeze, why go back at all.
They didn't go back to get luggage did they??

They were already traveling...one would have clothes (and all meds)
Hotels wash clothes....no need to return to the scene of the crime tonight...

They are freaking out now.

They took ALL of the VACUUM CLEANERS!  What is a Cindy to do?

Maybe they only took enough clothes & meds to last them for this little trip, and had to go back to get the rest of their stuff, and their prescriptions for refills, and obviously they picked up the dogs, so they probably don't intend to come back.

The hotel you stay in for one or two days, is usually more expensive than the one you pick when you know you're staying a long time.

Oh Janet, Ted and Sally were the friends of Dick and Jane.  I adored all of them.  We covered our heads with our coats and sat under our desks when the sirens went off.  If we keep this up, Klaas will send us all back to the NAH thread.

If it were my grandchild's body found I would not be in a public anything..I would be grieving. I think this shows the A's knew all along that Caylee was dead and they did their grieving in private like the times Cindy said she went to Caylee's room, sat there and cried some times.

My dad died unexpectedly over 20 years ago..fell out of his chair with a heart attack. I can remember I was so much in shock I didnt' even drink water for 2 days much less eat. These people have known she was dead.

Yep. That's why Cindy's been losing weight. Probably the body being found marks the end of a long ordeal for her--knowing, but not knowing enough. Knowing Caylee's dead but not knowing how exactly she died or where she is or if and when they're going to find her. The body being found, horrible though it is, is probably kind of a relief for her--kind of the way it is for some of us.
But why would they choose to do an interview with Larry King at this time ... is what I'd like to know?  If it were me ... I'd be curled up in the fetal position right now!
IMO because they signed a contract with Larry for 2 nights of coverage and they already got money for any pics or videos to be aired. They didn't go back to Cali to do the 2nd night, they went to a location in Florida.

They probably know, too.

But I think they were kinda done with George a long time ago. I think Rick's a pretty honest guy. I think Cindy and George were always pretty distant from friends and family even before Casey was born.

Yep this happened maybe 2 hours ago? Something like that..I was listening to channel 13 news live when the the reporter announced it.  They had their bodyguards come and pick them up, through the side door.  Doggies when with them.
