Research results also were suggestive, but not definitive, in the other high-profile case the ORNL scientist consulted on recently.

Collaborating with authorities in Central Florida, Vass' team analyzed air samples taken from the trunk of a car owned by the mother of missing 3-year-old Caylee Anthony.

Vass said something dead had definitely been in that trunk.

"We could not prove 100 percent from our end that it was human remains. But I don't think there was any question that it was (the odors of) decomposition," he said.

A break in that case may have occurred Thursday when skeletal remains of a child were found in a wooded lot less than a half-mile from where Caylee lived. Vass said he talked with Orange County, Fla., investigators by telephone and made some suggestions about evidence to possibly link the body to the car trunk and items from the child's home.

Re: Cindy and them attending church

Cindy said in her interview with the FBI that they believed in God but didn't attend church. She was complaining that LE wouldn't let Casey have her bible in jail, IIRC.

whoa!!!  in one of the jail tapes, casey sat and talked about the bible she had!!!!

she said she kept in on her bed...wtf?

They use big pesticide tanks like that where I work. They usually spray when we are not all in there. Most of the downtown buildings use various services to control " pests ". I don't know anyone who has these tanks for household use. But in Florida, the household pests might be an issue, I have no clue. There must have been a damn good reason for those tank to go with the CSI guys.

Does anyone know when we get to see the list of articles from the search warrant?

There must be something to those pesticide tanks, even if they aren't connected to the mystery hose.  Why would they be collecting them as evidence if they didn't have reason to believe that Casey had used an insecticide?  She must have sprayed Caylee or sprayed the trunk in an attempt to kill the maggots.  They must have found evidence of an insecticide in the trunk, because there wouldn't have been much time to test for an insecticide on the remains last Thursday, unless they continued to add to items that they wanted after the coroner started to examine the remains.  They must have found dead maggots in the garbage bag.  Klaas, can you tell if the photograph of the sprayers was taken the first day or the second day?

Could they think the chloroform was mixed in it?

shoot...what was one of the computer searches about....fleas

i find that strange

They do have dogs, that could have been a legitimate search.  Lets see Baez try to tie together trying to kill fleas with household weapons.

Fleas - that is interesting. Because when I adopted my Kitten 8 years ago. OH man... I never thought to check him for Flea dirt and or Fleas before putting him into my house. He is a Tux so he black/white " COW" ... he was totally infested and my apt became the FLEA Circus within days. My Adult Cat too .. So I tried NEEM from the Health food store and it was a Shampoo for Pets " for fleas"... Which I almost my Kitten using that. Was horrible. So then I moved onto the Vet approved products you drip into their coat .. I tried the wipes ... so on and so on. What I found on the Net which totally Removed all the Fleas ..was Borax. http://www.20muleteamlaundry.com/

http://ezinearticles.com/?Flea-Control-With-Boric-Acid---How-Effective-Is-It?-(Part-1)&id=593484

I put it all over my carpet and then used a broom like a freak to get it off the carpet surface ...to get it to the deep fibers. So my Cats would not inhale it.

Boric acid kills fleas both by causing dehydration and by acting as a stomach poison.(10) In laboratory tests boric acid damaged sperm and caused miscarriages.(11) [Boric acid factsheet]

Hey monks~  Ono and Always1 have apologized.  Thank you for your kindness, but I want to be sure they don't feel like we keep bashing them.    Monkey (((hugs)))
Muffy,
A few times like this, late readers still post and it almost keeps it going - well, I have an idea - could you guys post on the edits that the matter has been resolved, so please don't comment???  That way us lagers or diligent readers know it is over???  Idea??????  Okay, I am about caught up, so must be time for bed - see ya all in the AM!

Junkie~ It is really a lot of work to go back and edit posts and especially quotes.  That's why, when a poster sees a problem post, it's better NOT to quote it and remark on it.  Much better to hit the "report to moderator" button.   Lots of work to fix those things.  I spent probably at least 20 min. going back fixing posts from something else tonight.  Klaas and I couldn't get to them fast enough...   Goodnight, and thank you for the suggestion, though.

Well, like most of us I have been having a hard time sleeping since Caylee was found . . . and I am pages and pages behind because I am on dial up.

Excuse me if this has already been pointed out by my very smart monkey friends.

About the duck tape . . . It's clear that there was no Zanny the Nanny so perhaps Case Face duck taped Caylee's moth to make it look like a kidnapping.

But there were no clothes on the partially skeletal remains.

That wasn't too smart, Case Face.

Who kidnaps naked children?

Karen

Pedophiles, pimps, and child pornographers. But Casey kept stressing that Caylee was safe with Zanny, remember?

I have a tank like that too, but I make mixtures like boiled rhubarb leaves & water to use against aphids, or even liquid dish soap and water.  I also use it to fertilize plants.

Remember Casey announcing that "they haven't even found Caylee's clothes?" How did Casey know that there were clothes to be found? Sounds like she made a slip, because she knew she'd buried the child and the clothes separately.  Hmmmm.....
And now they HAVE found her clothes, and I bet they can be matched to photos of Caylee and of Casey.

That's probably why she buried them separately--so they couldn't match up the clothes to Caylee's picture. And she must have been taking a leaf from the "Precious Doe" case, since apparently they've just found the skull, not the whole skeleton. I guess they're looking for the rest of the bones still.

The cam is working.

Thanks, Today!

Klaas: Sure does look like a hand-held shower head to me.

I have a kitchen tap that the part of the spout pulls out to spray.  Now the metal that you see is the covering over the water hose that is below the sink.  When you pull the spout out, the hose with the metal covering comes up part way with the extension of the spout.

That is what I'm thinking it is also.

I have one of those, too, and mine looks similar to the one that you see in the photo.

I posted on Page 73 - pics of such.

any resemblance ??
I searched forever to find these ... I dunno I may be wrong

It makes me sad that Caylee can't open presents this Christmas and I thought of that tonight again...

One of the Marines for the Toys for Tots program was on TV (CNN) tonight talking about how donations were low and the demand was even greater this year because of the economy.

If those who can, when they are out doing their shopping the next few days, would buy a toy and donate it to the Toys for Tots or to their local Salvation Army Toy Drive in Caylee's memory...it would be a nice way to honor her. I think she would be happy knowing some other little girl will have a dolly to love or some little boy an action figure to play with.

I'm too far away to put flowers on her memorial site but I plan on shopping for a dolly or two when I do finish my Christmas shopping this week.

Baez visits Anthony home

On Sunday, attorney for Casey Anthony, mother of the missing girl, spoke to FOX 35 and was joined by new members of the defense team which include several world-renowned forensic experts.

"We're going to have our experts all reviewing everything from top to bottom.  Unfortunately, due to the time that's elapsed and our inability to be able to observe what's being done, there's no telling what the scene is going to look like when we get it or what it was like beforehand," said Jose Baez .

Baez said he was preparing paperwork which he intends to file at the Orange County Courthouse on Monday, regarding a recent search of George and Cindy's home.

Too F@cking bad Bozo~ also, WTF do you think you have to file regarding the search on the home ?? This search warrant had to be signed by a judge, are you going to try and discredit the judge along with the LE, FBI, OCSO, the ME etc.....Oh, must be a huge conspiracy against Casey
