Teeth are the hardest organs in the body and consequently those most resistant to chemical and physical alterations, even after death.

In addition to the dental records, forensic investigators can retrieve DNA samples by extracting the pulp from the center of the tooth. Unlike the enamel, pulp can be damaged by fire and other conditions, but it can also last for hundreds of years.

GOOD MORNING ALL!!!! 

I've been keeping up but I haven't had a moment to post!! I've waited to the last minute to get everything done for Christmas company!!  I've been cleaning & wrapping & baking, & shelling pecans like a mad woman! I did get my hubby to help with the shelling(we've got 25 lbs. done out of 50!!!)

It took me all morning & I can't believe I actually did it!!

Hey Monks-

My big question is IMMUNITY IN EXCHANGE FOR WHAT???  Isn't that usually how immunity is granted?  We need your info or your testimony, so we will give you immunity?  Seems to me like now with a body the prosecution has all they need to get Casey on murder one....so what could George and Cindy possibly offer that is worth immunity?

Oh, and by the way, I think the whole family is scum.  Even in this holiday season, I cannot seem to summon even an ounce of sympathy for these people....it concerns me a little, to be honest. This case has done a real number on me....

Looks alone, yes they ALL are a nice looking family. Problem is they open their mouths and that's what makes them ugly to others. Just heard on In Session TruTV interview with Brad Conway.

Interviewer asked if Anthony's are aware of a long blond hair attached to skull.

Pictures were taken by investigative team upon leaving house after the search, Anthony's took pictures upon their return.  Attorney said the pictures will be compared.

Comment by reporter:
Casey, as the parent, will be notified if remains are Caylee not the grandparents.  Possible courtesy to grandparents by sheriff's office.

ORLANDO -- Investigators begin another day at a crime scene near the Anthony home where human remains were found Dec. 11.

Authorities were tight-lipped Tuesday night about exactly what they've found, but said they have expanded the crime scene to half an acre. It’s an area they feel could hold answers.

Meanwhile, they are now retracting what a member of their legal team stated earlier in court, calling the testimony of "the remains being that of a little girl" a misstatement.

"At this point, we still do not have definitive identification of the skull or a remains of the child. That has still not been determined," said Capt. Angelo Nieves from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities said at the very earliest, they'll conclude their search Wednesday, but added it could be days before they turn the area back to the owner of the property.

Klaas, am I understanding this correctly?  There is no guarantee that Baez & experts will even get access to this site if the property owner says no?

Hmmmm, I hadn't thought about that but I suppose it's possible. 

Oh, I hope the owners say "No way, Jose." If it were my property I would have any trespasser from the defense team arrested and put in the slammer with Casey. especially Donatella Kenny-Baden.  Demonstrators and those wishing to leave little mementoes to Caylee's memory would be welcome.  In fact, I might serve refreshments.

Notification of the ID of the remains found will be to Casey....she is next of kin....C & G might be given a gratuitous notification by the Sheriff's department.  Beth K. on TruTV just reported that info.

As far as George and Cindy's "conflicting" statements go, I can see them playing a game of semantics here - seems to me that's what they do best.  "Conflicting" may just mean that each of their stories don't line up with the other's and now they are going to stick with whichever version supports the Zanny theory best.   I hope to high heaven they receive absolutely NO immunity.   I don't believe for one second that they are going to be truthful.

As a parent I could not imagine having to accept the fact that you raised someone, not just capable of murder, but of the murder of their own flesh and blood.  I am certain that G&C have a very hard time sleeping at night - Casey on the other hand most likely thinks nothing of it.  Sad.
