My apologies for the accidental quote trio at the beginning of my last post.

That's what I get for being a smarty pants!

Net...  you're from Murt's chat, aren't you?

That's where I knew that name from, might be the same one from Murts...that's right.

Hmmm .. a little over 2 months ago is when he joined? Isn't that the same time Murt finally got signed up here, Klaas?

Yes, I do believe you have him pegged.

Wow, was it really 2 months ago?  I mean.. it's been a while, but it doesn't seem that long ago. Time flies.

I'm not wanting to take sides in any kind of argument, but I clicked on the globe beneath NetDetective's name, and it went to a Ustream chat about Caylee. Not saying one way or the other whether NetDetective should have put a link in a first post, but I think it is a legitimate site, not a spam one.

AND?  Why on earth should this persons first post be to draw people away from here to chat on his/her site then get mad at us.  They claim to have been a member for 3 months and already was certain we were rude to new members? I call BS.  They are banned.
Klaas, I asked Muffy, but she is probably pizzed right now (not at me but that detective person). Could that person NetDetective not have asked for a thread on SM so we could post there? Just asking, cause I know all Monkeys are nice and that guy/person got MAD really quick. I'm glad Muffy called them to task and you banned them.

Please don't ever give me the deodorant though. Or the big red button.

I think Net Detectve was one of Murts first moderators, then all went wacky, and I disagreed with things that were going on there, so I haven't been back.

I miss a lot of stuff being at work during the day, so please forgive my question. Why are we discussing gaff tape? Does gaff tape have a connection to the case?

I don't know anything about gaff tape, but it looks just like duct tape!

Lisa
What is gaff tape?

I think it's what I always called electrical tape. My dad used to be an electrician, and we always had rolls of smooth black tape around the house. It wasn't as wide as most duct tape, and was black rather than silver.
Does it keep finger prints?

Clothing Also Found In Bag With Child's Remains

http://www.wesh.com/news/18299352/detail.html

One woman said off camera Wednesday that she was part of a Texas Equusearch team that scoured this area. She claims to have photographic evidence that proves the remains were not there when they searched. Investigators reviewed the photos and took her statement
I thought TES did not allow their searches to have cameras, phones, etc...while searching?

Just because she didn't see it doesn't mean it wasn't there.
Exactly...from what I understand if that area wasn't underwater it was thick with brush; makeing both almost impossible to see anything laying on the ground unless you were on your hands and knees and wearing a snorkle

Oh, how do you take a picture of something that ISN"T there?

We could learn a lot from crayons...

some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors, but they all exist very nicely in the same box.

Funny someone should mention Amy's duct tape. I was just rereading Will Waters' interview with LE today. It contains a lot of weirdness. LE sounds suspicious of several of the details that he gives, and he has inconsistent statements. I remember seeing him wearing duct tape in one of the infamous "no-clothes party" photos. He is friends with Amy. I keep wondering if he knew what Casey did to Caylee and when the trial begins he will be one of the people the defense tries to throw under the bus. I am trying to find the link to his photo from the party. I am wondering if Casey could have reused duct tape (on Caylee) having his and Amy's fingerprints on it, trying to implicate them.

The interviewer mentions a third party saying he had done body work on Casey's car and saying it stunk, and he denies it.

I always thought his interview was strange too!!!

Electrical tape isn't quite as sticky as duct tape. It would probably hold fingerprints, but maybe not as well. When I was a kid, I didn't know there was any other kind of tape in the world than electrical tape. We had rolls of it lying all over the house, and everything we owned that needed tape had thick, black tape on it.

Walter thanks for sharing.  I sure hope that this evidence that they have taken their time to collect thuroughly has all the information needed to move forward in Justice for Caylee!

EXACTLY!!!! Look at Santa Claus for example....Actually, with all of the water and then afterwards with the draining of the water, is it unrealistic to expect that the bag would have shifted somewhat and went from being well hidden to visible? I am not familiar with the terrain but I know when we flood here, objects shift around under the water a bit as things are draining. Perhaps the bag caught on the bush at that time and stuck there to be found. I would be horrified to find out that the bag was dropped while KC was incarcerated.
