KCJackie, Sorry I dropped the ball on this one. I should have had the name of the city worker friend at hand. I knew this was coming but I was kicked back. I hate to have to go back through all these doc dumps just to find it. I think prolly the meter reader is straight up and just overheard something that helped him put 2 plus 2 together. Thank God he was persistant just like the monkeys. If it was her LE sweetie or the one unnamed that investigated this that will sure muddy the water some. What I don't  think will change is that the evidence inside the bag will be all KC. I will not be surprised if the evidence shows that the body has only been there for a couple of months or if it has been there the whole time. Neither will I be surprised if they say there is more than 1 body there.

He's Joys Uncle's brother's sister's third cousin.  Did that help any?     j/k

Manny is supposedly the name of the meter reader who found Caylee's remains.  His name is allegedly German Gonzalez, aka Manny Gonzalez.

I'm not very good with Latino names. If his last name is Gonzalez, would his first name be pronounced like Her-mahn?

Thanks Brandi, I can never seem to get stuff captured when they are adobe.  I figured the flags represented "finds" I was just wondering if anyone knew what the colors meant, if they were different people, types of evidence, etc.

Thanks Ono, I was hoping he was the responding officer to the first call. Maybe he has a friend still on the force.

tony rusciano was fired on August 21 for not disclosing his relationship with Casey. He was fired AFTER the meter reader made his original tip calls. It is possible (and I think extremely likely) that he was the responding officer, based on what Nieves said in the press conference (LE is just not going to publicly suggest at a press conference that a deputy wasn't "thorough" unless that deputy was already under investigation. Not in a case like this.).

Also, guys, the meter reader's name has NOT been released. Just do a google search, there are NO hits relating that name to this case (and you know it would be, especially after this revelation), it's a rumor. His name has NOT been released.

I think that if this HADN'T been cleared up already (i.e. meter reader as a suspect), then certainly OCSO wouldn't be telling us that their own department screwed up until they'd resolved it, right?

I mean, they wouldn't wanna be caught with their pants down before they had an answer to the meter reader's involvement, right?
 

Or would OCSO simply say something along the lines of ,
 "Yep, we screwed up, we didn't check out the area very well, the same guy called us 3 times and basically had to shove the remains in our faces before we said 'aha! there they are'.  We're not quite sure why that's happened, but stay tuned and we'll try to figure it all out."
