Now Joy is going on a witch hunt for this meter reader!    This is awful!

Lisa
Somebody needs to put a leash on this loose cannon.

And what gets me is she is already planting this seed in Cindy's head, and you know this poor guy is going to get slandered and drug through the mud!

It is very good to remember that some basic things do not change in this case.

Casey did not notify police or anyone else that her child was missing.  She may never have notified anyone if Cindy had not tracked her down and dialled 911.

Casey told dozens of lies about important matters related to the case.

Zenaida Gonzales does not appear to exist.

Casey used her computer to look up incriminating things on the internet.

Her car smelled like death and she abandoned it.

Nothing that happened today changes any of that.

I am going to concentrate on these points and try to relax and enjoy the season for the rest of the night.

I wish you all and your families a very peaceful Christmas.

Good night monkeys! Thanks for being here for each other and for Caylee.

NG is in atlanta as is CNN.  I lived in the panhandle of fl for 18 yrs and hurricanes can be just like a severe rain depending on where it hits and the strength but it certainly could uncover a shallow grave.

Goodnight monkeys,
This is all so bizarre.  It is almost like someone told this guy to say that he saw a bag (wrong color bag, on side of road?).  Just so sad...

Going to give the kids a bath now and then give them a big...big...big hug. Thanks Willen for letting me listen.  Maybe tomorrow will bring more answers.

Good Night, I feel tomorrow will bring more answers. In the end the evidence will all lead to Casey, just a distraction, and there will be more before this goes to trial.

Oh he will be a target that's for sure. Again I say that is why a lot of people don't get involved, because of things like this.

It is very good to remember that some basic things do not change in this case. Devil's Advocate

Casey did not notify police or anyone else that her child was missing.  She may never have notified anyone if Cindy had not tracked her down and dialled 911. Maybe Casey knew Caylee wasn't missing. Not dead, necessarily, just not missing.
Casey told dozens of lies about important matters related to the case. Alot of her lies have been showing kernels of truth. She was connected to Frank M, a known scam arrtist involved with a woman showing people an evited apartment to scam deposits. Zenaida 'lived' in a vacant apt. Casey may or may nto have been invloved with underground Porn. And More...

Zenaida Gonzales does not appear to exist. A 'model' for Zenaida is surfacing in a friend named Vicky. Also associated with Frank M, and Sawgrass apartments.

Casey used her computer to look up incriminating things on the internet. Casey looked up incriminating info that was an episode of One Tree Hill, in which  Jennifer Rosa, a local tv personality, starred.

Her car smelled like death and she abandoned it. She left her car with all of Caylee's things inside, out in the open. If she was trying to stage a kindnapping, then why have Tony pick her up from her car, when he could easily be a witness? Could she have been expecting someone to pick the car up?

Nothing that happened today changes any of that.

I hope your right.  I just think this is going to make Cindy more vocal than ever that Casey is being "framed."

Unbelievable

Steve Triggs, Director of Communications for Orange County, said the meter reader had been a county employee for a “relatively short time” and would appear at a news conference with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Friday afternoon. Triggs said he is being represented by outside counsel at the County’s expense.

Tipster Who Found Remains Called In Tip 3 Times In August
Thursday, December 18, 2008 – updated: 7:03 pm EST December 18, 2008

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- There are new concerns surrounding the meter reader who found a child's remains believed to be Caylee Anthony.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office said Thursday that the meter reader had been to the scene before and had called police about the area in August (map from location to Anthonys' home).

Investigators interviewed the meter reader at length about what he knows, but he is not considered a suspect in any way.

"He is not a suspect in this case," Sheriff'f Captain Angelo Nieves said early Thursday evening. "He is a credible witness and we consider him so at the Orange County Sheriff's Office."

Steve Triggs, Director of Communications for Orange County, said the meter reader had been a county employee for a “relatively short time” and would appear at a news conference with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Friday afternoon. Triggs said he is being represented by outside counsel at the County’s expense. The sheriff's office said the meter reader had called in tips about the exact same area to Crimeline and the sheriff's office three times in August, two weeks before Tropical Storm Fay hit and flooded much of Central Florida, including the area where the remains were found last week.

The sheriff's office said it is focusing on its own deputies who came out on August 11 and 13 to inspect the scene. It's unknown what the area looked like on August 11, the first day the meter reader called and reported seeing a gray bag.

Sheriff’s officials said the man called Crimeline on August 12th. A detective checked records and determined the area already had been checked by a cadaver dog.

The sheriff's office is also investigating deputies who came out and cleared the scene on the 13th of August. The meter ready accompanied the deputies but nothing was found.

Officials aren't releasing the names of any of the deputies involved, but they are under administrative investigation.

Nieves said the meter reader went back last week because he had a nagging feeling that it was the place to look.

"He called on the 11th, the 12th and the 13th," Nieves said. "Currently, we are following up on that sequence."

WFTV legal analyst William Sheaffer said the developments would appear to benefit Casey Anthony’s defense attorneys.

“The defense has to regard this information as a godsend,” said Sheaffer. “The defense is ultimately going to make a lot of the fact the remains were discovered after numerous trips from the meter reader… This is probably a game-changer.”
