I see the book but I really don't think KC was stupid enough to dump Caylee's body and leave her book there. Doesn't  seem to make sense to me. Also, if that area was under water for so long most of the items would have been moved just by the motion of the water.
The water in the woods down here has no current, its kinda just standing, stagnant water
Thats right the water just stands in the swamp lands, no current......and also it would look a different color if it has been under  water for awhile....

Here's the article I found last week and posted.  It's about the boys locating the stick with the string tied to it.  Next day called a deputy who said it was nothing, just a bomb.

That is just amazing to me, oh it's okay kids, just a bomb, and gee just a bomb close to a school.

I see the book!!!

so do I...it sure looks like the same book...LE must have spoted that yellow color quickly and maybe that's the reason for the instant response to the A's house ?

The thing that makes me doubts that this could be evidence in the pictures is  the fact that if it is possible evidence wouldnt it be in an evidence bag?  Im sure they take pics before they bag it and if this their pic then their investigation is compromised if pics are leaking to the press.  I dont think the are that sloppy

But it does look like the book

WOW...........Thanks Klaas..that does look like the same book!
It sure does.
Wouldn't the book be ruined out there after 6 mos. Would have to have been sealed in an air tight container or bag. No?? It looks in too good a condition. It does look like the same book to me though.

How long does it take LE to release the jail visit videos? Just wondering how many visits from Lee and parents she has had this last time in jail.

ZERO......no visits or calls since her re-arrest......all communication is through Bozo Baez, with the exception of the minister, who visits once a month IIRC.

Hmmm...does anyone think the book is in too good condition to have withstood 2 hurricanes and has been in the woods for 6 months?

I don't think KC thought we would be watching that video of Caylee eveynight on television.  She may not have even known there was a video when this all happened.  Who knows.

They absolutely do that, but my issue is that if this is a photograph before bagging then the pics are being leaked and the case is compromised and I dont think they are going to let that happen.

Did investigators find Caylee Anthony's book at search site?OrlandoSentinel.com

9:13 PM EST, December 18, 2008

On a day filled with developments in the case of missing toddler Caylee Marie Anthony -- including news that the man who discovered human remains last week called in the same tip three times in August -- a single photograph brought forth as many questions as it answered.

Did investigators searching a wooded area for skeletal remains also find a book that Caylee liked to read?

One of the 171 photos released Thursday by investigators shows a slight opening in the brush -- and what appears to be a hard-cover book. (Click here to see the photos)

That object appears similar to a book that Caylee is reading on a video made by her grandparents, the last visual evidence of the toddler before she was reported missing in July. (Click here to watch that video.)

Editors at OrlandoSentinel.com discovered the similarities while looking over the crime scene photos late Thursday. We wondered if the Orange County Sheriff's Department noticed the same thing. So we asked.

Sheriff's Capt. Angelo Nieves said he had not seen the crime-scene photos and could not comment on their content. He said he would not ask investigators about the photo.

Whatever the object -- book, cereal box, wrapping paper or whatever -- no close-up photos of it were released by investigators, who have said that the wooded area is full of debris.

Shortly before dinnertime Thursday, Nieves confirmed that significan skeletal remains were discovered and that the search area was being expanded. It had been anticipated that investigators were close to opening the area up. Instead, Nieves said, the search will continue today and possibly into the weekend.

That development, however, was followed by the stunner: The utility worker who phoned in the discovery of a bag of bones in the wooded area in east Orange County -- about two blocks from the home of Caylee's mother and grandparents -- first called in a tip to the sheriff's department's communications center on August 11. The next day, he called Crimeline. And on Aug. 13, he called the communications center again.

The meter reader's next call about the case was last week. That day, he reported to his boss at Orange County Utilities Department that he found a bag of bones that included a small skull.

OMG!  That looks like the same book to me!

It looks like Caylee book to me..

Oh man. The defense is going to point to this, if for no other reason, to say that the police are inept and have destroyed the crime scene before the FBI came.

Cadaver dogs didn't smell anything?

And maybe the responding officer was having sex with Casey?

This case just got far more complicated and Casey is less sure of a guilty verdict right now than she was this time yesterday.

Sorry, trying if this was mentioned, to catch up.

Maybe the cadaver dog was having sex with KC.

KLAAS~~ Help, I can't see the book in that pic, can you draw a circle around it ???
Pretty Please, my eyes are bad!!  TIA Smile

I don't know, the book that she has is different colored, every page and even the front and back of the book... Unless the book on the ground is open to the same yellow page as the picture of caylee is... then it is probably not the same book....

Looks to me like all the pages in the book are the same color - yellow - look at the pix with Caylee. The book on the ground appears to be open. Perhaps, half the book is covered by soil, leaves, stuff, or maybe the cover of the book is separated from the book and just the pages remain.
