Good morning everyone!  I fell asleep early last night and missed NG.  Does anyone know if they are going to announce the DNA results today?

Last night on NG they said that an announcement was imminent....and they were expecting one at any moment LAST night...so i'm thinking there will probably be one today.
FBI was @ the scene last night around 830.
Boy, do you go to sleep early Smile Smile
oh ok, well thanks for the reply.  I had a long day yesterday, and when I got home, laid on the couch, and was out for the rest of the night!

I don't think they found only one tooth, they are just saying that a tooth holds DNA pulp and can give them identification.  As for the the property owner, I do believe that is within his right, maybe he will make the defense pay for the privilege?

I have mixed feelings about this...on one hand I don't want Baez to continue whining that he has no access, so he can't interfere with the investigation... but one the other hand I want the owner to tell Baez to PISS OFF!!
I might be the odd ball out here with my thinking, but I honestly hope that Baez does get to look at the scene.  Just think about it, if he does not get his chance, then come court time all he is going to do is b!tch and moan about how he was not privvy to all the information, he will complain that since he had no chance to re-examine the area he can not assure the court that the LE did their job right, he can nit-pic their case apart based on the fact that he had absolutely nothing to make a comparison to due to being unable to obtain access to the site itself.  He could make it all seem very one sided...and we all know how this ass loves to whine!
Let him have access, let him take some pieces of trees himself...I highly doubt that he will do a thurough investigation, maybe a little walk through with his "team", but judging by the photos, if something was there, the LE has it and is testing it.
I agree Dolce, let him look. There shouldn't be anything there for him to see or find, so let him look. Guaranteed they will "find" something wrong to complain about in court anyway. Atleast if they get to "see" the crime scene, they can't say "we weren't allowed access, it's unfair to our client, yada, yada, yada, waa, waa, waa". Give him one less thing to b!tch about!

Wesley, I am reading back and forth from last night and this morning.  From what I am understanding it seems that release of results could happen at any time.  FBI has come in and now the reporters are just awaiting a presser with the release and/or verification of the remains.

We know the "family" will be notified first, does anyone happen to know if anyone (detective, fbi, m.e.) has been to the "families" home yet? Just wondering if anyone heard anything about that.

good morning Monkeys! Here we go again....

Anthony's defense team files another motion
Last Edited: Thursday, 18 Dec 2008, 8:28 AM EST
Created: Thursday, 18 Dec 2008, 4:38 AM EST

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando) -- Casey Anthony's defense team filed another motion in court on Wednesday, requesting access to examine all the debris from the crime scene before it is discarded.

Because the motion was filed after the Orange County Clerk of Courts closed, the motion is not yet available to the public.

It is not known whether there will be another emergency motion hearing held, similar to Tuesday's when a judge denied the defense access to photographs and sketches of the crime scene where the remains of a child were found last week.

Also new in the case, the attorney representing George and Cindy Anthony says his clients will not sit down with attorney John Morgan for a deposition in the Zenaida Gonzalez lawsuit that should happen on Monday.

Casey said she left her missing daughter Caylee with a nanny named Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez in June. Authorities have not been able to determine this person exists. A local woman with the same name has filed a lawsuit against Casey, saying the publicity of the case and the use of her name has caused her to lose her job and be the victim of threats.

Investigators said they also found more evidence at the site on Wednesday. They will not give details on what exactly was found.

George and Cindy both spent time away from their home Wednesday and a few friends were seen stopping by their Hopespring Drive home. One person even dropped off food at their front door.

I don't think LP has been speaking from any leaks. I think he comes up with his own theories because he has been around this work a long time and his mind seems to turning all the time. He is on the scene as most spectators right now.

The R Grunde info on Dennis M..I think he has the last name wrong but I don't think Nejame would have stooped to have him out there at BP causing the scene he did and drinking beer. If he was sent there to observe that is another thing.

The female that keeps showing up I think it is right...she works for defense or knows the A's. And I am sure there are plenty of them out at the scene this week listening and watching everything going on. I bet LP recognizes her since she is around alot.

As to the A's and charges...I think if they did anything to coverup details on this case such as information that could have ended it sooner then yes....file charges. To late for immunity. Body found. I realize they are grieving grandparents but you know what? They have had a headstart on their grieving. The rest of the world has felt it but just held back until now and fallen in love with this little angel. I hope the DNA results are announced today so we can start the process really knowing it is her.
If this was an accident which I don't believe it was...too much premeditation evidence...there is no good reason to hide the body in a trunk then trash bag and then dump like it is nothing more than garbage. It is just disrespectful. My daughter has had more respect for her fish which we buried in our yard and had a ceremony for along with hamsters, bird, cats and dogs.

Ok...now for another cup of coffee.

Oh....the duct tape. The post was a strange thing for a young person to be so interested in their duct tape.
For one thing it is cheap to buy.  I was raised to always have 2 things at my house and everything would be alright. One is duct tape and the other is WD40.

I agree with you on LP and duct tapa and WD40 LMAO.

Isn't the lady the one who was with the cowboy that was sitting on the couch with Tim, NeJame and another man (James Copenhaver?) in a news piece about donations?

I am lost here.  Can you refresh my memory about R Grunde info on Dennis M?  Who got what last name wrong?
Several pages back someone posted a R Grund message and he said the guy in the cowboy hat at BP was Dennis Mand. I believe at the time(BP diving search) it was established that his name was Dennis Miller at the time.

Thanks.  Remembering that Dennis Miller was the one that provided feed and stables for TES search.  Saw Dennis M and all I could think of was Milstead.  But who knows maybe they are all connected.

What do you think they mean when they say-"Casey will consume our life with conflict"  do you think thye mean she has been driving us nuts since the day she born-but we love her
I think that its a nice way of saying "Casey has gone and thrown us under the bus again."  The last known fight that we know of was where Cindy had to confront Casey in regards to the theft of money from Cindy's own mother.  Casey was always putting them in a bad spot it seems.  I think this is there way of saying "Hey she screws us over, but eh we still love the kid".....talk about being somebodies b!tch.  (Hopefully Casey will be Bertha's b!tch here soon)
I agree    thanks for posting that release first time i have seen it

New Details Emerge About Child's Remains
Investigators Continue Search For Evidence

POSTED: 6:44 am EST December 18, 2008
UPDATED: 7:06 am EST December 18, 2008

ORLANDO, Fla. -- It was one week ago when a utility employee discovered the remains of a child in a wooded area near the home of Caylee Anthony.

The search for evidence hasn't stopped, and will continue on Thursday.

Investigators have shared more details about what they've found over the past week.

They said the bag holding the remains, including a skull and some bones, also contained clothing.

Authorities also said the body was dumped shortly after the slaying.

The crime scene has grown from about one-half of an acre to an acre.

Crime scene investigators said it's grown because they continue to find evidence related to the case.

It's evidence that could lead them to the victim's identity.

"As we make additional discoveries on the scene here, they will continue to provide that information, properly label it, sort through it, make sure it's returned to the medical examiner's office as well, and the medical examiner will take all of that information in its totality in order to ... make a determination as to not only gender but definitive identification of the individual," Orange County Sheriff's Office Capt. Angelo Nieves said.

Orange County Sheriff Kevin Beary wouldn't say exactly when investigators will complete their work at the crime scene, but he said the investigation won't be rushed.

I don't know deja, that's what I'm wondering. Just haven't heard anything about anyone visiting the family, and I know they will be notified first. With all the media outside there house, I would have thought one of them would have spotted them getting a "visit" and reported it. But, not positive it will happen that way. Just wondering.

I totally agree with you Dolce..that's the logical hand. Like the tips cd that LE made for him and he never picked up..I suspect he won't even walk through it..
But I have a great visual in my head of the owner coming out with a big hammer and telling Baez to "Get the He** off my property"

OMG YOU ALL ARE NOT GOING TO BELIEVE THIS!!!!!!!
My husband & I went to his Co. Christmas dinner last night, all doctors & nurses. In general conversation about their kids someone brought up DUCT TAPE. That it was a good idea to keep them quiet! They were joking!! Seriously though, One person's child had duct taped their 2 year old's mouth without them knowing right away, said they were glad he didn't tape the nose at the same time or the 2 year old could have suffocated!!!!!!! Everyone suddenly had a duct tape story & no mention of Caylee Anthony!!!! I was just sitting there in stunned silence, and looked at my hubby & he was too!!!! It was so bizarre I couldn't believe it!!!!  I don't think any of these people keep up with the case like I do, it wasn't brought up, but i was shocked by the correlation!!!!

GOOD MORNING ALL!!!!

I'm soooo far behind. LP said there was a small swimsuit & part of a dress that was found!!?? Is that right??

And how did LE only find 1 tooth if there was tape over the mouth? Wouldn't that kinda keep the teeth in place??!! Has someone already answered that!!??

We should get confirmation today that it's Catlee & did eveyone hear last night that the property owner where the remains were found doesn't want the defense on the property!!?? And can they legally do that!!???

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! QUESTIONS!!!!!!!

I don't think they found only one tooth, they are just saying that a tooth holds DNA pulp and can give them identification.  As for the the property owner, I do believe that is within his right, maybe he will make the defense pay for the privilege?

Thanks, Boo! NG made it sound like they found only 1 tooth so I wasn't sure!! And I'm glad about the property, serves the defense right!!

This was my theory on the one tooth statement by NG.

I think the tooth was removed from the skull and sent to FBI to check DNA.  A removed tooth from the skull is a direct link to the skull.  A tooth picked up off of the ground would not be a direct link to skull.  Tooth pulp contains DNA.  Teeth remain in skulls for years, so I don't think NG is accurate when she says only one tooth sent so rest are scattered.

This pic also gives a good view of the bricks and pavers. Wonder if they found any pavers or bricks in the bag, to weigh it down?

thanks quiet monkey for posting this pic, as THESE red pavers look exactly like the ones we found off boggy creek road, the same road casey changed cars and then was arrested...
These pavers have been driving me nuts, wondering if ANY of them had been replaced, as Caylee's body could have been placed on them.. It would also coincide with the "yard work" george did after the fact....
If any were removed, then these pavers would implicate george or cindy or both in the cleaning of the house, or crime scene.......what do ya;ll think??    mio

I think the cops ceased to be amused with Cindy long ago...and the FBI.  Here is a list of things I noticed that were obvious lies or misrepresentations, done very deliberately to stall or mislead the cops.

 1.  THERE WAS NO ARGUMENT ON FATHER'S DAY.  Lee told LP that Cindy was so mad at Casey she lunged at her and grabbed her neck.  Obviously something happened to make Casey pack up and leave and not contact her parents for a while.  It is relevant to the case, though it does not really prove anything.

 2.  THEY GOT ALONG FINE.  George and Lee both said that Casey and Cindy had been arguing about Caylee and other things for months.  Cindy talked to the FBI guy as if they were two peas in a pod and seldom had a cross word.

 3.  CASEY WAS A WONDERFUL MOM.  Cindy threatened to get custody of Caylee.  You do not do that if you think your daughter is a great mother.

 4.  CINDY KNEW CASEY WAS PLANNING TO LEAVE.  Cindy wrote in her online post that Caylee had been taken away unexpectedly, just as she had arrived.  She did not want Caylee to leave, though she might have been willing for Casey to leave.  There were no plans in that direction since Casey had no way of supporting herself.  She left because she was angry.

 5.  CINDY AND CASEY TALKED EVERY DAY AFTER CASEY LEFT.  Nonsense.  In one email to Casey, Cindy wrote "Remember me?"

 6.  CINDY TRUSTED CASEY.  Nope.  She wrote in her post that she worried about who was "watching out for the little angel now" indicating she was not at all sure that Casey would take proper care of Caylee.

 7.  CINDY SUPPORTED CASEY NOT WORKING, ETC.  No.  She paid the bills, but she threw it in Casey's face a lot that she paid for everything.  She resented Casey not paying her own bills and said so in that famous online post.

 8.  SHE WAS OKAY WITH CASEY GETTING PREGNANT.  No.  Casey was scared to death to tell Cindy she was pregnant.  Cindy referred to the baby as a "mistake" several times, though she said she was a good mistake.  Cindy even told George and Lee and Amy, I think, that Casey resented her being so close to Caylee and said in the online post that Casey was jealous.  This could go to motive.

 9.  THE FAMILY HAS NO IDEA WHO THE FATHER OF CAYLEE IS.  There have been so many lies about this one, I do not know where to start.  Cindy may well have perjured herself at the hearing when she claimed not to know the name of the father.

10.  CASEY HAS NEVER HAD ANY MENTAL OR EMOTIONAL PROBLEMS.  Cindy told the FBI that Casey had not had either, but she also said that Casey once considered getting professional help and told Amy that Casey was a sociopath and a chronic liar.

11.  SHE BELIEVED THAT CAYLEE WAS STAYING WITH ZANNY THE LAST TWO YEARS.  No way.  Cindy would have met Zanny or found out all about her if that were true.  George said he suspected Casey had not had a job.  You know he would have mentioned that to Cindy.

12.  PIZZA CAUSED THE SMELL IN THE CAR.  Cindy and George and Lee all knew that was the smell of a dead body.

13.  THE INFAMOUS RECEIPT.  Cindy did not turn over one of the receipts that showed purchases by Casey after Caylee was missing.  Cindy told the detectives at an interview that there was nothing on the receipt that was of any importance.  That was for them to decide, not her.  She was withholding evidence that they wanted and needed.

14.  THE WRONG HAIRBRUSH.  Cindy claimed that was the only brush she could find.  But I am sure she found the other brush later, and did she give it to the LE?  Not that I know of.

15.  WASHING THE PANTS.  She did not know where her granddaughter was.  She knew the car smelled of death.  She had told the 911 operator that something was clearly wrong, yet she washed the pants,

16.  CLEANING THE CAR TRUNK.  They knew the police would be coming to talk to Casey again, yet they cleaned the trunk, clearly disturbing key evidence.

17.  LEE GOING TO TONY'S AND PICKING UP THINGS.  Did someone tell him to do that?  As a former policeman, George should have known that was unacceptable.  And how does anyone know what he actually found there and what he did with it?

18.  CINDY PUTTING IDEAS INTO CASEY'S HEAD AND IN EFFECT, HELPING CASEY TO COME UP WITH A STORY.  Did it start when Cindy jumped to the conclusion that Caylee had been kidnapped and started trying to bolster that story in every way imaginable?  And did it continue in the jail visits when she said things like, "Has anyone been in our home?" and got Casey to say, "She had a key" and tried to implicate others?

GREAT POST!

Hudsunn- please send a copy of this great post to Nancy Grace and Jane Velez-Mitchell, I am really sick and tired of hearing them describe CA as a grieving grandparent. Scheming liar, just like her daughter is more like it.
I am just hoping NG will ask Mark Klaas his opinion of them again, he skewered them last night and NG had no come-back for him
