What was the title of the book Caylee was reading.  It appeared to be one of the Frances the Badger books.

The thing that makes me doubts that this could be evidence in the pictures is  the fact that if it is possible evidence wouldnt it be in an evidence bag?  Im sure they take pics before they bag it and if this their pic then their investigation is compromised if pics are leaking to the press.  I dont think the are that sloppy

But it does look like the book
Perhaps they photograph evidence where they find it prior to bagging it

They absolutely do that, but my issue is that if this is a photograph before bagging then the pics are being leaked and the case is compromised and I dont think they are going to let that happen.
It could have been an oversight Taz especially because the color of the book is like camouflaged and blends into the rest of the greenery

I can't get into the WFTV site, but are they now reporting that the meter reader who called in the tips IS NOT THE SAME meter reader who found the remains?

Lisa
OH good..................maybe someone jumped to conclusions too soon!!!!!!!!!

That type of book might not get damaged in water as much, I don't know what you call it, but the pages are on the thick side, and the pages are coated with something, my kids had books like that when they were little. I don't know just a guess.

I see the book but I really don't think KC was stupid enough to dump Caylee's body and leave her book there. Doesn't  seem to make sense to me. Also, if that area was under water for so long most of the items would have been moved just by the motion of the water.
I don't think KC thought we would be watching that video of Caylee eveynight on television.  She may not have even known there was a video when this all happened.  Who knows.

Or maybe it is Three Little Kittens.

Greta talking to LE.  Not going to discuss color of the bag.  When will identity report be given?  He says soon as they have something from ME.

Greta says it is very strange coincidence.  Lots of bags found in the woods.  Lots of litter, debris.  Teens go in there a lot.  Leave stuff.

Meter reader was consumed with the story about Caylee.  So says reporter Phil Keating.  He is following the case closely.

Guy decides to investigate on his own and see what he can find after giving police the tips.  He was shocked to find the remains.

He had studied maps of Orlando as many people have and decided someone should focus on the woods.

Greta says she is curious about the same guy giving tips and then finding the bag.  Nieves says they may be there til Saturday.

Did the meter reader "know too much" but the LE says he is not a suspect, but a concerned citizen.

Kobilensky on now.  His thoughts:  "Timing is everything in forensics.  Information is lost as time goes by.  Critical info could have been retrieved if body had been found earlier."  (Not exact quote but close.)

Koby says this is a complex case.  He is being pretty fair and says LE and experts are collecting every bit of evidence they can.

Says he has not met Casey.  He is simply a counselor on the forensics.

More on bones...Dr. Baden is coming up.

I believe, in all my grandmotherly knowledge, they are called "board books", and they are made to be able to withstand wiping off...drool, ya know!

Most of the ones with plastic are for babies.

Water is the worst thing in the world for any book, though.  Pages stick together, etc.  But the colors could still be recognizable and the cover might be intact.  Not sure if any fingerprints would remain.
