Haven't posted in a while but this is fun!
I have an MP3 disc with a bunch of CDs but these are my favorites:
Jack Johnson - In Between Dreams
Soundgarden - Superunknown
Kelly Clarkson - Breakaway
Coldplay - A Rush of Blood to the Head
A Perfect Circle - 13th Step
Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dreams...

I love driving and singing!  My favorite pastime!

I don't much care for country but have been known to listen to Willie Nelson singing You Were Always on My Mind and his Lefty and Poncho song but it is usually accompanied by the consumption of Scotch and a certain mood and frame of mind.   Very Happy

I listen to music in my car. It has excellent acoustics.

1) Modern Times by Bob Dylan. Recently released at #1 on the charts. It is Grammy bound. I listened to it 50 times. Now I'm on my 40th listening to the second song. I'm a fanatic about my music. I can recognize a song in one note.

My daughter sent me two Jack Johnson CDs.  They are relaxing and good for listening to via the iPod while snoozing on the beach. Not in my CD player.

2) Andrea Bocelli - Amore

3) George Michael - Faith

4) Pink Floyd - The Division Bell

5) Donovan - A Gift From a Flower to a Garden

6) Israel "IZ" Kamakawiwio'ole - Facing Future

=======
Then take me disappearin' through the smoke rings of my mind,
Down the foggy ruins of time, far past the frozen leaves,
The haunted, frightened trees, out to the windy beach,
Far from the twisted reach of crazy sorrow.
Yes, to dance beneath the diamond sky with one hand waving free,
Silhouetted by the sea, circled by the circus sands,
With all memory and fate driven deep beneath the waves,
Let me forget about today until tomorrow.

OK Blah:-)

Won't go to the IPOD (I have the big mama that holds 10,000 songs)-- but, the 6 cd changer for the car contains right now (a bunch of oldies, I've been nostalgic, but I do have new stuff, too):

Billy Joel -- River of Dreams
Joss Stone -- Mind, Body and Soul
Bruce Springsteen -- The Rising
Seal -- Seal
Santana -- Supernatural
John Mellencamp -- Human Wheels
