Now if you would like to talk Videos on DVD,

I have Shania Twains Greatest hits and both of Chers final concert DVD's.

I also have Nicole Kidman's 'Moulin Rouge!' movie and 'Grease' which I consider as music Videos.

Hi Blah,

Yes, Bob Dylan will always be making new music. He sounds very good. The years have enriched his voice and he croons. He has his best band yet. I love all the songs.  Laughing

Ok.. I gotta ask..
When you listen to a favorite song.. what is it about it that makes it the "Goose Bumps" run up & down your arms or teasr stream out of your eyes (Yes  sometimes it happens to me) or if not,  at leasts makes you play it over & over?

Is it the Music, Words, the artist's passion &  tone of the vocals , a  combination of  or something else ??
I'm just wondering here.  Wondering just how strange I really am. Rolling Eyes
For example ...
The original song  "Love is a Battle Field" by Pat Benatar  is a all time goodie to me it & has always given me goose bumps  Embarassed
The words do not fit my life any more .. but still gives me "Goose Bumps" Embarassed.
A combination of music and vocal passion I think.
Go to this site http://www.sideload.com/cb/track/?id=137273 and click on   Listen to this track
(you have to close this window to listen to the following links or the both play at he sme time ???)

Then again a thier MP3 down load is good but something is missing from it .  The quality or the passion ? http://www.cdcgraphics.com/media/80_s_Pat_Benitar_-_Love_is_a_battle_field.mp3

But  I still like the simple midi too;  no words to get in the way but sure does not come close to giveing me Goose Bumps either  Rolling Eyes
http://www.rhost.it/Luli/Midi/Stranieri/Pat%20Benatar/Love_Is_A_Battlefield.mid

I wish someone could come up with a way to get the music and the passion of the vocals  With out the words.

Just Wondering

OF, my 'Goose Bumps and Tears' song is 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow' by Judy Garland.

It was my mother's favorite song and I think she truly believed in it.

It was sung at her funeral and I tear everytime I hear it.

Well, now I do have other 'Goose Bump and Tear' songs.

One is 'Moon River' and the movie 'Breakfast at Tiffanies', both the song and the movie really grab me in a melancholy way and I really don't know why.

Most of the songs of 68/69 are somewhat poignant to me.

'On the way to San Jose' by Dionne Warwick and 'Angel of the Morning' by Merrilee Rush also can elicit tears for me.

I also have a dislike for 'Bottle Of Wine' by Jimmy Gilmer and the Fireballs and I really hate with a passion 'Hey Jude' by the Beatles.

Then again 'Maggie Mae' by Rod Stewart brings back some fond memorie from my college days.

Oh the songs that make me have goose bumps always relate to a time and place in my life....

sometimes it was a break-up....

James Taylor's Fire & Rain... because it was playing when I was given some bad news...

Strawberry Alarmclock's Incense and Peppermint was playing when a tornado hit when I was in kindergarten...

Hey Jude reminds me of 1st grade and riding the school bus...

Old - the good old stuff - Elton John reminds me of my best friend in 9th grade who worshipped him....

I don't know but when a song does that for me it's because I relate to the words.....

and of course the song from mine and Red's wedding....

and there are a handful of songs that remind me of one of my best friend's break ups with different guys... she called me the other day and played on on the radio to me... and we ROFLOAO at the whole memory behind the song....

<<snip>>

Mrs Red.

Or maybe sometimes just a state of mind??
One that has occurred or one that may happen ?
I can find more "Weeping" music than "Goose Bump" songs Embarassed .. why is that?

Indulged me for a min. or more..
#1 Think music and tones NOT the words  ( The words can change but not the music )
#2 Paste this link http://www.erickaharvey.com/playlist.wpl
into MeidaPlayers Open URL address  list (yes I can be a naggg)
#3 Open / Empty   your mind as best as we can ...
#4 Play  "Never Deny"  and see what events inyour life pops into your mind
......... Weep or Goose  Bumps ?
#5 Think Justice as been served or denied  and play it again
   ..........Same Results ?

Music moves us all diffeently... there is NO right or wrong
We just want to share with others things that move us..
