I'm going to go out on a limb and disagree with almost everybody by saying that the meter reader is most likely a suspect who played some kind of a role in this.

Why do I think so? His identity has not yet been revealed for the past week "but will be today" after LE just went out on a limb and announced he called in three tips on the same location, LE is/has been reinterviewing him, Nieves mentioned that the OSCO was going back through all the tips they received from the public, the meter reader just became a county employee, and at the time he called in the other three tips the scene was cleared each time, and the snake story sounds like a major lame excuse. The meter reader knows something or was somehow involved. This does not mean I think Casey is innocent, but I do strongly believe this whole situation is more complex than "he was just a concerned citizen." He already has legal representation by a county attorney -- doesn't that mean a "public defender"?

I am so certain of this I am going to take the risk of getting slammed by everybody! I have to go now, but, of course, I will be back later to see how many people have slammed me! Smile

You must be reading a different forum than I am because I don't see this at all.  Personally, I trust LE and LE has said the meter reader is NOT a suspect in any way at all.

I don't expecially trust LE but in this case I think it is simply the meter was not satisfied with the response he had received in August and took things into his own hands.  He is a hero IMO.  I believe, and I think all evidence of which we are aware proves, Casey Anthony killed her little baby girl and threw her away like garbage.  No accomplices, at least before the fact, but possibly George after the fact. I see no other answer which makes sense.  Of course, we can use our imaginations and come up with all kinds of theories and conspiracies,  but this is the only theory which is backed up by the evidence as we know it.
i realize they have not identified the meter reader as of yet, but with all due respect, that theory doesnt make any sense. If this person(as yet unnamed) had anything to to with this crime, why would he throw himself under the bus by informing LE of the location of the remains? It doesnt really make much sense. IF there is any way at all that those remains were recently put there, my moneys on Lee as the depositor. This meter reader obviously was unsatisfied with the investigation of this area after he got a feeling about that bag and simply went to check it out himself. I believe i would do the same thing. If someone helped KC dispose of this body, its pretty safe to assume they would not come forward on their own-rather they would wait for KC to sell them out as an accomplice.

He has been identified as Roy Kronk.

Sources close to the investigation told Eyewitness News early Friday afternoon that the tipster meter reader is Roy Kronk, an ex-military man who lost his wife to cancer a year ago. He's expected to appear at a 3:30pm news conference. The meter reader kept persevering about seeing something important in the woods close to the Anthonys' home (map from location to Anthonys' home), which has now been the focus of investigators for nine days now.

One of the attorneys I spoke with last night...a very well known death penalty attorney in Houston said this is a circumstantial case (as IHO she will never confess to murder....there is a slim chance the defense may do a turn around and try to say it was an accident and she went into a  state of panic (explaining this is why she kept Caylee's body in the trunk) and then it was so horrific to her mentally that she concocted a story in her mind that completely exonerated her from the deed and guilt, I think I am getting what he said correctly ...my notes are sketchy...but this is close)  and that is exactly what will WIN this case....the prosecution will have a time line and be able to substantiate it....they will be able to prove that no one other than Casey could have committed this crime.he has been keeping up on things and said the LE and FBI have done a fantastic job...neither cracking or giving in to outside pressures...the forensics are there (and more than we have any idea of)...forensics and the substantiate time line are the keys to convicting Casey....he also said, as we think, George will be a KEY witness for the prosecution.  Just thought I'd share some of what he said.
Thanks for that info. How do you know so many lawyers?

I'm confused.  Did you only talk to one attorney???  At the top of your entry you said he said this is a circumstantial case.  Further down this same attorney says LE and the FBI have the forensics.  Is this guy really an attorney or does he just play one on tv?

I talked to 2 last night .the timeline and the forensics as opposed to a confession or eye witness...and neither are TV actors....I do hope that was meant to be funny

Your opinion is what you believe.. I may disagree, but I respect you and wouldnt slam you lol  maybe just give you a nudge

Thanks! Now I have my big foot in my mouth because I just saw the news about the upcoming press conference (at 2 pm) in which the meter reader is going to speak publicly himself. I could never see a suspect doing that.

That's OK RMCALO.....I put ketchup on mine to make it taste better.  LOL

This is my granddaughter!

« Reply #527 on: December 19, 2008, 12:42:18 PM »

I still say that if I was CA or GA and they found remains they thought was my granddaughter and I thought that my daughter was innocent I would go see her in the jail to make sure she was doing alright.  I wouldn't care about the cameras or recording.  I wouldn't listen to her attorney.  Not going to the jail speaks volumes to me.

Also, I said last night and I still think the same thing today.  I have a suspicion that the LE officer that went out on that call that day could have been TR.  He was fired I believe around the 20th of August.  IMO

That skull picture?  Has LE confirmed it is indeed a skull in that picture??

I tried to post earlier but it didn't take apparently.   I didn't catch the picture posted here, as I think it was taken off the forum by the time I saw everyone discussing it. So  I had to look elsewhere.. the photo I saw, sure look like it had been photo-shopped.  It didn't look real. And what's with whatever it coming down from the eye sockets? Surely that can't be typical of a child's skull?
That wasn't the skull found, I'm really not sure why that was posted. When I saw that my first thought was that was a skull of an adult. There appeared to be what people felt was a skull further back from the big skull shown. It kind of looked like one, but it was very hard to determine. Besides my eye sight isn't the greatest.

If the remains are Caylee then Casey would be informed by the Medical Examiners office before the public would know in the press conference.

I believe the that skull was superinposed on the real picture next to what appeared to be the real skull for comparison.

I just posted the link for Blonde here on  SM....I know the skull we could see was photoshopped....I just couldn't 'see' the supposed skull that other saw in the real photo...I was wondering if LE had in fact confirmed the picture did have a skull in it??

Thank you and I agree that this man is not involved for otherwise he wouldn't reveal the location of the remains.  That would make no sense at all.
